But surely if they're taking weight loss drugs they're not okay with who they are?

That's my point.  The song is sung in "The Greatest Showman" by the sideshow performers.  It's them saying they won't hide anymore or try to change to fit in, they will be themselves.

I have no knowledge of the source of the Wegovy song. To me, it's just an annoying song.

I knew the song before and still find it extremely annoying.  (I really don't like the song although it's not the message which I dislike.)  But I get what the original poster was saying, that it's weird at best to use a song about accepting yourself as you are in a commercial for a product which is very much based on not doing so.

Please explain the Kerrygold commercial with the table

I thought the table ran away from home because it was having a self-existential crisis but returned after seeing another family with a kitchen table.

The anti abortion ad or something else?

Yeah, the anti-abortion commercial. Effective, if not gruesome.

I have never understood that commercial, that fact that nobody is freaked out about a table that can wander the earth is amazing to me. LOL.

Well, a dish can run away with a spoon, so why not a table? At least a table has legs!

According to Kerrygold:

Quote

Our new film ‘The Runaway’ follows the poignant journey from the city to the country of the beloved family dinner table, as it searches for a new sense of place.
For a brief moment, life slows down and we see how much valuable time spent together means to families, once the table finally returns home.

Well,... that clears it up...

Yep, that was the point I was trying to make.  Thanks!

So the table IS sentient and has run away but is now coming back to its home.  Oh-kaaaay.

So, it's for Kerrygold? They don't do a very good job of selling the product but now I want that table!

The Dupixent commercial with the guy lounging in a kiddie pool while stacking up picnic food on a plate. Is this some sort of Tik-Tok challenge thingy? If a guest did this at my party, he would never be invited again.

There's a new Verizon commercial featuring contrived phone destruction or damaging,  but the one with the phone sinking into a boiling brown substance makes me wonder why the person on the phone seems to know what is happening. That's not how it works!

There's another one?? I've only seen the one for Target.

I wouldn't call him sexy.

I think it's a live video call and the camera is getting covered with the melting chocolate (or whatever it is).
