Primetimer June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 Dylan McKay makes his triumphant (?) début in 'The Green Room'; Sarah and Tara discuss! Read the story Link to comment
MostlyC June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 The podcast isn't playing for me. Hopefully it's just me. But now I won't get to hear about Dylan and his odd-but-magical- eyebrow? Link to comment
Tara Ariano June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 I think I screwed it up but now we all have to wait for Dave to wake up and fix it. (I would go wake him up, but I'm in a different state.) Link to comment
StatMom June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 (edited) DAAAAAAAAAVE! That was a Slightly Special Episode. Don't drink and surf, guys. Edited June 4, 2015 by StatMom Link to comment
John Ramos June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 I watched this one in anticipation and all I can say (well, not really) is NICE JEANS AT THE BEACH, BRANDON. Link to comment
soybombyx June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 It was Shelley who drowned. Byron went to fight in Greece and got sick and died. Link to comment
Sarah D. Bunting June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 They'll pull my English major card for that. Link to comment
Pogojoco June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 Love this....love it. Dylan is ridiculous, but Scotch is completely legit, just old-timey. Link to comment
Tara Ariano June 5, 2015 Share June 5, 2015 A Scottish person told me never to say "Scotch"...or I read it in The Stone Angel??? I forget which! 1 Link to comment
Picture It. Sicily June 5, 2015 Share June 5, 2015 Am I the only one who thinks that bikini bottom looks...painful? Link to comment
StatMom June 5, 2015 Share June 5, 2015 Point of order: when we "like" an episode, are we saying we like the episode of the TV show, or of the podcast? (Why yes, I DO take my internet thumbs-ups very seriously!) Link to comment
Dave in Chicago June 5, 2015 Share June 5, 2015 That Ahndrea computer gif is perfect. I will also be the suck-up who has only ever seen one episode of "90210" but still finds this podcast entertaining. Link to comment
sinkwriter June 5, 2015 Share June 5, 2015 (edited) Oh my god... Dylan DOES uptalk! I never noticed (or paid attention to) that before! That's hilarious. Of course, it's been a long time since I've seen this show. *GRIN* Edited June 5, 2015 by sinkwriter Link to comment
Germaine June 6, 2015 Share June 6, 2015 90210 was never my bag, I can probably count on one hand the number of episodes I've seen. That said, I LOVE this podcast! I'm still not watching the show, but am really enjoying you guys shredding it. I just listened to this and laughed so much, it was just what I needed after a long, crazy week. Can't wait for the next one! 1 Link to comment
Racj82 June 6, 2015 Share June 6, 2015 I never understand why people don't watch and listen to podcasts. I can understand if you are already familiar with stuff and the podcast is funny on its own but watching and then listening is always part of the fun for me. Link to comment
Kristen June 6, 2015 Share June 6, 2015 Wait. Sarah knew Joey McEntire?? 10-year-old me stopped listening after she mentioned this. 1 Link to comment
Lisin June 8, 2015 Share June 8, 2015 I think what's bothering me most about the clothes is how many of the outfits look like stuff my friends and I are wearing in old pictures... the early 90s were bad gang, they were bad. 1 Link to comment
Sarah D. Bunting June 11, 2015 Share June 11, 2015 @Kristen, that's a joke: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senator,_you%27re_no_Jack_Kennedy 1 Link to comment
purist July 15, 2015 Share July 15, 2015 You guys (especially Dave) do know that the phrase 'mad, bad and dangerous to know' was allegedly coined by Lady Caroline Lamb, who had an affair with Byron, right? It's not something Dylan made up to describe himself. 2 Link to comment
Tara Ariano July 15, 2015 Share July 15, 2015 I didn't know this Lady Lamb was involved, but yes, we know Dylan definitely didn't make it up. He says "That's him [Lord Byron, whose book of poetry he's posing with], and that's me." 1 Link to comment
Pogojoco July 15, 2015 Share July 15, 2015 (edited) A Scottish person told me never to say "Scotch"...or I read it in The Stone Angel??? I forget which! Ok, it's ridiculous to argue (and I will anyway!) But I think Scotch is an Scottish expat thing. Also, The Stone Angel! Woohoo! My grandmother (who was Scottish) had a book by John Kenneth Galbraith (the Canadian-American economist) about his childhood in rural Southwestern Ontario amongst the Scottish people there (including his family)....it was called "The Scotch." I think Scottish people in Scotland don't like it because it's what English people call them. In conclusion, Dylan is a tool. Edited July 15, 2015 by Pogojoco Link to comment
