On 6/24/24 episode did Anna move back home too? I am asking because she has a job to do if Liz's water breaks. Brice lives in Trent's home too?

Brice said he was staying with Liz at Trent’s.  I wondered why he didn’t say he was living with Liz rather than staying which made it sound more temporary.  I am still confused as to whether or not they are actually 100% back together.   

I think Anna was just there to take part in the “it’s time” drill.  I can’t imagine why she would leave her house and dogs to come back there and live.  She has done very well for herself.

Anna 100% is not living there. Brice seems to be, and his parents live just a few minutes away so he's basically a neighbor if he's not officially living there. 

I finally finished watching last week's episode last night. Why in the world are they encouraging Alex to talk about marrying Allie before they even graduate high school? I hope her parents are shutting that shit down. Amber's encouraging him to be a stage 5 clinger/stalker when they really break up. 

As for last night's episode, I'm sorry, but who the hell has a themed 18th birthday party like a 6 year old? Good thing the twins parents obviously are thinking we have twins, college is expensive and send them to film, or Alex wouldn't have had anyone at his "party". Allie seems way over him. The explosions to say goodbye were just beyond stupid.

On Liz's Facebook she is a patient care technician (aka nurse's aid) at a doc in a box in Forsyth. Salary for the role is about $30K/year. That means she likely really needs whatever Trent and Amber share from the TLC money.

I can't imagine the strain on a relationship of planning on living with T & A for 2 years. The show likes to present Liz as the smart, creative, driven daughter, but she finds herself in a low paying job living in her parent's home with a child. Her 25 year old boyfriend sleeps there and at his parents' home.

I'm glad I don't watch anymore and just follow online (thanks everyone for sharing the crazy!) as this has become a show of unlikeable people posing for television and social media.

TLC needs to cancel this one like they did with Little People Big World.

No, these train wrecks do NOT "need to be cancelled."  They're highly entertaining!  I look forward to seeing that vampire Amber completely take over that baby and poor Brice try to endure it.

It pains me that Amber is being paid for being a narcissist and showing us how she abuses and manipulates her children.

I think the show feeds Amber's ego and she thinks she is a celebrity.

Amber expected Jonah and Liz to parent Anna. She talked about her difficulties parenting Anna with both of them and told Jonah he had to change his college experience to drive Anna to high school.

She sent Anna away to college and she encouraged Alex and Emma to wake her up early and blow airhorns to wake her up on the way out the door.

She exploited Emma's speech impediment.

She gets involved in her kids' relationships.

She plays the kids against each other but is fairly transparent that Liz and Alex are her favorites.

And then there are the repeated T & A sexy time scenes...🤮

I want the gravy train to stop. With Anna estranged from her family I don't want to see her abused or badmouthed for another season.

I want a 'karma's a bitch and so is Amber,' payoff.

I didn't hear that.  He's an HVAC guy.  I assume he had some sort of apprenticeship.  Maybe vocational college or a two-year program???

But then, I believe she has only an associate's degree, and she probably claims to be "a college graduate," too.

I was rewatching some of the episodes over the weekend. If Liz didn't have a baby this past year I don't know what they would talk about. As someone else said, I can't imagine living with Amber and Trent for two plus years. Wouldn't your peace of mind be more important?

I had to laugh when Alex was going on his trampoline date with Allie. He said about two million times that they had been going out for a year and this was a recreation of their first date. Btw, where does Allie live?

He's sweet, but maybe not the brightest bulb out there. I think he does well for himself, but maybe not "buy a house" well. They are lucky that both sets of parents are supportive. 

How many times can these people switch rooms?! Just move the generic furniture already! It's like they have no personalized belongings besides farmhouse decor that Amber decides on.

It doesn't seem like Alex and Allie have much to talk about. I believe Allie is from Ohio.

Is Alex in college?  Just watched his birthday episode, and he said that next year he was going to be a freshman in college and his girlfriend was going to be a senior in high school. I think it's 'next year' now.

agreed. it could be editing but i think i have had far deeper conversations with my coworkers over lunch in the breakroom than we've seen alex and allie. they seem on the level of text buddies, but nothing further. i hope i am wrong, i hope alex finds someone to make him happy in a relationship - he is very polite and kind if not somewhat naive for his age (mind u i was no genius at that age either.)

Alex and Emma graduated high school this Spring. I'm not sure what their plans are for college, but I'm pretty sure Alex won't stray too far from home.

I follows her on insta and I honestly can’t tell. It seems there’s been a falling out, rumor has it the family is not happy with her boyfriend. He seems to be a grown ass man  and not white, so in other words not controllable. Liz made a snarky insta about the baby’s birthday party when someone asked where Anna was, and liz said Anna wasn’t able to make it. Anna said she could have if she had been invited. So yeah, something going on for sure. Oh and the whole family and random boyfriends/girfriends went to Puerto Rico this summer and Anna wasn't there either.

This show is going to go the way of Jon and Kate plus Eight, and Little People Big World. Very unhappy families, and divorce. At this point, people should realize how unhealthy these reality shows are. They get addicted to the money and probably the “fame” too.

Anna asked people not to comment or ask questions about this season of the show on on her Instagram story last night.... she's got to relive it and some things that will be said about her are true and some are not. This makes me sad for her..... we've seen how they treat her and talk about her when they are supposedly one big happy family. I can't imagine they are going to be anything other than completely horrible now that there's a full on falling out.

I don't think that Brice and Liz were ready to be parents, but they seem to be handling it pretty well. I can't believe Amber is still bringing up the fact that Liz didn't tell her and Trent that she was pregnant until 21 weeks. Well Amber, that is what you get when your children are terrified of your reaction to things.

This is boring as hell so far.  Same things said and done over and over again but just with a baby now. 

Brice seems to be a really sweet guy and I find him rather charming in a simple, genuine way.  So, according to their talking head segment, they broke up because Brice would come home from a stressful day at work and wouldn't give Liz enough attention.  He says he has to work on that and will make sure to not do that anymore and so I guess the break-up was all his fault. 

Translation:  The guy would come home from work tired as hell and would just want to sit on the couch quietly and watch tv for the night until he had to get up the next morning and do it all over again.  And in his free time, he wanted to go fishing for a few hours.  Sounds fine to me.  But nope, he's on tv apologizing for it all while Liz sits there with that smug look on her face. 

He seems to really love her and says such sweet things about her while she sits there smugly and doesn't.  Maybe she is different when the cameras aren't around.

Poor Bryce.  Getting mixed up with that family is unfortunate.  Amber and Trent are just way too controlling and bossy. Omg….he’ll always be connected to that family due to the child.  Ugh…..I have experience with family members like Trent and Amber.  They get worse as they age.  
 

So, is no one working?  Trent on sabbatical, Amber in school, Liz on maternity leave, …..who’s bringing in the income?

This show must be be paying well enough if they can afford to live and support everyone with 2 jobs between 5 adults, 2 teens, and a new born. Brice has a job and maybe Jonah. What's the game plan on sending 2 teens of to college in a few months? I'll have to assume TLC paid for the family trip to Puerto Rico over the summer where every one, their boyfriend, and girl friends were there.... except Anna.

I'm pretty certain Trent is retired from his state job and the whole "quitting" thing was producer-driven.  You don't need that many years to collect your pension and are allowed to buy some time besides so, at his age, it's entirely doable.  He seems to have been too responsible his whole life to just walk away, and once you've given decades to a pension job and are vested, you don't give it up easily. 

That and the TLC money has them sitting pretty, I'm sure.

I, too, feel bad for gentle, easy-going Bryce getting mixed up with this grasping, controlling family.  Liz wants him to be something other than what he is and is going to be forever picking at him and snarking on him. and that's going to be hard to watch.  He's in the soup forever now and doesn't yet realize what a life that's going to be.  He had nearly escaped, but then...  Oops!!!  He just had to "come visit Miller."  ;)

I thought Trent was selling cars. When was his state job?

He worked at a state college as lawn maintenance supervisor or something like that, but google says he was only there for like 5 years. Then he started selling cars. My thoughts on that has always been he figured if Jonah could manage it, he was sure to be a much better salesman than his kid. I doubt 5 years at the college earned him a real pension, especially since it seems like he quit

I doubt the college earned him a real pension...

It's not uncommon to change jobs within the state system; people do it all the time.  You're still vested in the same pension plan.  I seriously doubt that the college job was his FIRST job at that age.

I know this was filmed some time ago but Anna seems to be a big part of their family so not seeing a rift at all.  Wondering if Anna’s rift with them is a result of her new boyfriend’s influence.  It must be something significant to have even her siblings not having anything to do with her.

Elizabeth and Brice both are doing a good job as first time parents and are very committed to Leighton.

I think Trent and Amber are doing a great job with their kids and trying to set them up for success dealing with life and their stature which is something a lot of us can’t imagine or relate to.  The kids don’t seem resentful at all and seem to want their advice when they ask.
