rue721 February 11, 2015 Share February 11, 2015 Since my husband has been complaining to me that today is Tuesday, I sent him one of the gifs that shows Sam saying "Yesterday was Tuesday, but today is Tuesday, too!" He replied that if tomorrow is also Tuesday, he'll have to stake someone, preferably someone having strawberry syrup. Tuesday's Gone 3 Link to comment
Leesifer March 7, 2015 Share March 7, 2015 I've been watching various things on youtube this evening and one of my favourite memorable moments from Supernatural is Death's intro. The whole scene with "Oh Death" playing in the background and the fact that he's in a Cadillac DeVille, and then the walk down the street. I just love it. I won't stop watching but I do miss the fact that Supernatural used to have these little moments. 2 Link to comment
amensisterfriend April 3, 2015 Share April 3, 2015 So I'm thinking maybe this question should go here...?! If so: I know we all have different senses of humor---and about which comedy is and isn't successful on this show!---so I thought it might be fun to challenge ourselves to pick our 10-15 funniest episodes of the series. Warning: I have a few unpopular selections :) Link to comment

Warning: I have a few unpopular selections :) We're about to finish up the Types of Characters challenge in the Survivor Game. Any chance you'd be willing to let us turn this into a game? As soon as "humans" is over, we could all nominate 10-15 comedy episodes, consolidate lists and then do a survivor run off. What do you think? 1 Link to comment

Mick Lady May 24, 2015 Share May 24, 2015 Old thread, I know, but it's been raining all day and we're taking a break from our rewatch. My very favorite line is delivered by (a very dry) Cas, in The Monster At the End of This Book "You should have seen Luke." Perfect delivery. The first time I heard it I swear I was going to pee myself! Hell, I'm even laughing now! 4 Link to comment

amensisterfriend June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 So when, how and why did you guys first start liking this show?! I know that for some of us that feels like a VERY long time ago, but I wanted to dredge up some good memories :) Link to comment
FlickChick June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 I started watching from the "Pilot" and enjoyed how we learned more about each character (personality, motivations, general backstory, likes/dislikes, etc) in each of the early MOTW episodes. But what really hooked me was the initial myth-arc of trying to find their missing father and solve the mystery behind their mother's death which was later intertwined with how/why of Sam's visions. There was purpose to the storytelling; there was humor and tragedy; there was real drama that evolved from the story (Faith) instead of manufactured angst of brotherly fighting. They were heroes then, saving people, hunting things, the family business. There was, IMO, Kim Manners who kept a close eye on everything, more so even than Kripke. RIP Kim. Nonetheless, I'll be here until the end even if the show isn't what it used to be. 2 Link to comment

I know that for some of us that feels like a VERY long time ago, but I wanted to dredge up some good memories :) Mick and I started from the first episode. We both liked it immediately, but for me Provenance clinched it. It first aired when a "Haunted Painting" was all the rage on e-bay. I don't know if you guys remember that painting, but it was creepy as hell! Found a link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hands_Resist_Him Edited June 16, 2015 by Mick Lady 1 Link to comment
SueB June 18, 2015 Share June 18, 2015 I liked the Pilot, especially the brothers acting like real brothers, but it was "Dead in the Water" that made me go...yep, I'm mainlining this NOW. Oddly enough, it wasn't until Sam reacted to waking up next to Fake Jess in S5 "Free to Be You and Me" that I REALLY felt Sam's loss for Jess. In S1 and S2, the fridging was too quick for me to feel the pain. But when he said how much he missed her in S5.... man, that got to me. Link to comment
catrox14 June 18, 2015 Share June 18, 2015 Dead in the Water and Phantom Traveler got me to continue to watch s1 but Home and Asylum really piqued my interest in the characters. However most of s1 was a struggle for me, but In My Time Of Dying really was the hook for me during my Netflix binge watch back in 2013. I thought it was a ballsy move to kill John after saving him. 1 Link to comment
DittyDotDot June 18, 2015 Share June 18, 2015 So when, how and why did you guys first start liking this show?! I know that for some of us that feels like a VERY long time ago, but I wanted to dredge up some good memories :) I started watching the show while S6 was airing. I started with the Pilot, as I am a bit of a purist about these things. I was immediately interested in it due to the look and feel of the show and these two guys really felt like brothers from the jump, but I don't think it was until S2 that I became somewhat devoted to the show. I remember finishing S1 and thinking it was an interesting show, but not sure if I wanted to stick it out...In My Time of Dying changed all that for me. I don't think I realized my devotion for the show until What Is and What Should Never Be, though. 1 Link to comment
