I wondered if there was some agreement at the time that if anything happened that Ariana's half would be determined before the payment of the HELOC or whatever and that Tom would get what was left over. E.g., the House sells for $4MM; they have a profit of say $2MM.  Ariana would be entitled to $1MM.  However, since the HELOC has to be paid before disbursement,  if it was, say, $750K or whatever, that would leave $1.25MM.  Since Ariana is entitled to $1MM as the HELOC was for Tom's business, Tom only gets the $250,000 left.

I'm sure Tommy Turd agreed to it at the time because he never thought Ariana would be kicking him to the curb.

We have no idea what agreements they had regarding the house, but Ariana, at least on the show appeared to be too trusting.

And now Sandoval is NOT suing Ariana

If you read his statement, he claims he was given unsound legal advice and has since removed his lawyer.  Come on.  Does he think we were born yesterday?  It's 100% cause he got so much blowback from EVERYONE (Bravo, partners at Schwartz & Sandy's, prob the entire VPR fanbase).  He is exhausting.

Bravo says it's on pause, but who knows? It might get canceled, or rebooted.

Having Sandoval as a client must be exhausting.

Having coked out Sandoval as a client must be a nightmare.

And I feel like I should sue Ariana for getting me addicted to Love Island USA.

I am still 100% convinced this show is not cancelled.  It might sputter pathetically for another season, but RIGHT NOW, especially with all this off-season drama?  There are viewers, there are advertisers, and there is money on the table, and BRAVO - if smart - wont' just leave it there for one more go-around.  If I was a betting man I'd go heavy in with this break being a break and not a cancellation.

My guess is he received unsound legal advice from one of his idiot circle who's BF delivers UPS to a law office.

Photos of Jax in the past (when he was a lot younger, not around the time he joined VR), and now. I think somebody was wondering why so many women went after him.

I refuse to believe the excuse that Ariana is not available.  I could be wrong, but she's made it clear that she's not going to continue this interaction with Tom bullshit and probably wants that specifically noted in any contract.

I said earlier that there was something hickey in all this since the Gerragos firm is adverse to his interests in the Leviss lawsuit.  So it wouldn't surprise me if he got bad legal advice from them.  I wonder if they approached HIM to file this stupid suit against Ariana - after all, why didn't he just have the attorney representing him in the Leviss suit file the action and not the Gerragos.

Celebrity attorneys, or well known attorneys who represent specific kind of cases approach potential clients. Do you remember Gloria Allred? She did it.

Sandoval claimed he thought the lawsuit against Ariana was part of the previous case (the revenge porn one).

Penny Davidi sued now, but she said that she was promised a percentage of the profit, etc. in the past, and Lisa Vanderpump claimed she knew about it, as well. There is supposedly an email exchange.

If the email exchange is just between Penny and Vanderpump I would not be shocked.

Wasn't this the "celebrity chef" they hired for the sandwich shop who then trademarked its name for herself?

"I looked at the trademark, and the trademark is owned by Penny, the lady they hired," Brock says in the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 After Show video above. "The trademark is owned by her husband, ladies and gentlemen — which means the sandwich brand is owned by Penny and her husband, who is an attorney, a litigator."

If this happened, is it probably because Penny thought she was a partner, although a minor one? She claims she was offered a percentage of the business. It seems she was also doing everything. Ariana was traveling for her career and was not involved at all.

Penny Davidi says in her lawsuit that she has a written partnership from June 2023 with Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney.

On Thursday, celebrity chef Penny Davidi filed a lawsuit against Madix and her co-owner slash Vanderpump Rules co-star, Katie Maloney, claiming that the duo violated the terms of a written partnership with Davidi from June 2023. In legal documents reviewed by the Cut, Davidi — who works under an LLC called Put a Fork in It — claimed she was promised 10 percent ownership of the shop, a $7,500-per-month payment until January 2024, then $10,000 per month after that, and a COO/director of culinary title. Though she did not clarify what piece of this agreement Madix and Maloney have reneged on, she claims they have “repudiated the existence and terms of the Partnership as alleged herein.”

Same. Penny's talking out of both sides of her mouth. In one breath, she's claiming she was hired as a consultant and due a monthly rate. In the next, she claims to be a partner, owed a share of the proceeds. Added in, the shadiness of having her husband filing the trademark patent under her LLC vs. the actual business entity.

It screams a scam to me and it's disheartening to know that LVP was involved. They preyed on the girls' naïvety in the restaurant industry for money/control.

I also think it's funny how Penny claims that she did all the work and aren't paying her for it while simultaneously criticizing all of their choices: the food, the bread, the menu & design, etc. Doesn't that undercut her claim that they stole her ideas?

The sandwich shop has been sketchy from day 1.  They had the idea, approached Rand at a "business meeting" where he promised to give them lots of money in exchange for a sandwich named after him.  Next season the only thing that had happened was Rand cheated on "Lala" so they didn't need his stinkin money.  Lisa found them a location.  Maybe that season they had a platter of sandwiches from Penny to pass out on the show.  Season ends and nothing happens until the next season.  Scandoval happens and they sell merch.  Even if Lisa and Penny were up to no good, it was probably just to make this sandwich shop exist.

It does appear strange. I understand that perhaps an attorney (Penny's husband is an attorney) could get a patent for a client (like Ariana and  Katie), but not to get this patent in his name. Is it possible Brock was confused?

I saw an episode recently where Lisa had a one-on-one business meeting with some guy, and she showed a ton of cleavage. It was a lot, even for her. Maybe it's just normal in that circle or in LA.

It might be in Philadelphia.

Vanderpump Villa is hands down one of the WORST shows I’ve ever attempted to watch.  How did it get another season?  Is Stassi coming on as a guest or as a waitress??

I read something that made me think Stassi was being hired as a "manager," or something. That she wouldn't be coming in as a brand new contestant, or whatever they have on this show I have not (and will not) watch.

Yes. But Stassi also has her own show on Hulu- Stassi Says. It's a comedic reality show. Do we really care about what Stassi has to say?

I thankfully didn't watch the show but all I heard was how awful it was.  One of the hosts of the podcast "Watch What Crappens" went on a long rant about how terrible it was so I didn't even bother giving it a try.  Honestly, I'm not a huge Lisa fan and feel she's not even needed on VPR; even though her name is in the title.

For some reason I thought it was legal throughout the US, I guess not.  I have to laugh at the stupidity of thinking he could just pack up that much weed and waltz onto the plane.

Yes, only medical marijuana is legal in Florida. I live in SE Florida.

It's not. Medical marijuana is legal in Florida, and some other states, not all.

He is an idiot. Three suitcases, and flying to Germany!
