Elise is tweeting they should delay the vote (after Flake's announcement), but "only one week".  So as with everyone else on Morning Clusterfuck, she's riding both sides of the fence. 

What is the fucking rush? They should talk to every single person that has either made a statement, or knows anything about this party, whose name is on that idiot calendar, etc.

The woman Kavanaugh kept saying yesterday that she didn't know anything, has made a statement that her attorney sent that statement, and she does know what Ford was talking about. 

Ford tried to stop this before it ever got to him being nominated when it was announced he was on the short list.  All they had to do was investigate without exposing her name, or his, prior to the announcement.  That there were allegations that should be looked into.  No one would have ever known, he would have kept his seat, and there would have been another nominee. 

But Trump wanted Kavanaugh, and didn't have them look into it.

I am sick at heart at the end of this day.  It is also depressing (but not really unexpected) to see how this show has turned around from where it was just a few months ago.  The Gold Dust Twins seem to have forgotten who their audience is; I can only hope the ratings take a dive.  Or that Andy Lack loses his job.  All I know is that although I will miss Heileman and maybe a couple of others (but not Elise or Susan Del Percio) I need a break.  Mr. Kemper is not on board with this...he watches from another room (yes, I have banished him) and yells back at me when he gets irritated at the hi-jinks.  Good times at the homestead.

This is a lot of it in a nutshell; other than MJ being entertaining...at least for the last few months or so.  The entire schtick (sorry if that is is misspelled) is stale...the guests in particular.  Same blathering from the hosts, same entitlement from the regulars (Barnicle, Willie) and the same platitudes from most of the usual guests.

Nobody has to talk about it unless they feel it will help them or someone else heal.

Thanks!!  I didn't recall the part about being beaten with the gun, so apologies if my version sounded like it was being trivialized, I thought it was just a guy came up and got a little weird and she got away from him.

I assumed it was a different incident because of the words, in the last year, "someday I will tell you about it", and the fact that she had already written about being attacked and pulled off of her horse in her first book.

Meeks called into Stephanie Miller this morning and I don't think it went as expected.  They at first chatted amicably but then Stephanie brought up MJ's enabling behavior with Trump and she didn't take it well.  She went off on this tangent about how people don't know what was said by them to Trump behind the scenes and that it got so bad during one phone call that their driver had to pull over and leave the car.  Stephanie tried to clean things up and move onto that updated KYV mess but the conversation ended quickly.  Afterward said she would like to have her back so they could spend more time talking things through (good luck with that) but callers let Stephanie know don't bother as they don't want to hear from her or either of their B.S..  Maybe they should change the name of the show to Morning No.

Anyway, they were having a blast, and Ruhle's giddy Wedding Wiggle rules! Especially because Kasie ! is dead to me now. Has anyone checked out Steph's career notes/accomplishments on Wiki (or elsewhere)? Have you seen the outtakes? Katy is checking her make up and doesn't know they're rolling to start an intro to a segment before the carriage comes thru , Steph nudges her and they burst out laughing. 

Would it be rude to link Stephanie's Wiki page to a tweet to Mika?  Hey Miss Know Your Value! Check it out! Your coworker actually does something other than hold a ten year grudge because she wasn't making the same as her boyfriend.  That's all KYV is. Her grudge against MSNBC for not paying her millions of dollars to read the news and flirt with Joe.  Granted, women aren't paid fairly, but Mika, you also have to prove your worth outside the bedroom.  Study up on foreign policy, economics, domestic issues, not just shopping with Joe's Platinum AmEx card.

And here's the story about the DWS email, which is not nearly as controversial as Mika tried to make it sound, claiming that the Clinton campaign wanted her off the air.  Campaigns call networks all the time and ask for clarifications, etc. when they feel something is being reported incorrectly.  Chuck Todd said it was not outside the norm at all.   Nothing about Clinton demanding Mika being taken off MSNBC.   They decided it was just a personality clash and let it go.

Instead of knowing the subjects they'll discuss on a daily basis, she's trying to figure out if Stephanie Ruhle makes more $ than she does. 

I have unfortunately been out of the corporate world for a while but I remember snooping around about salary as being an actionable offense?

Stephanie (Miller) is still trying to clean up after Meeks yesterday.  I missed this part yesterday but I guess she also went off on Hillary and Diane Feinstein and Stephanie (Miller) is trying to make sense of it.  Her guest today told her to forget it, move on and stop trying to figure those two out.  So now they are equally as unpopular on radio as they are on TV.

I only caught about 5 minutes of the show and actually laughed out loud when I heard "she had the morning off".  Be a little more gracious to people that are trying to help you and maybe you wouldn't be incinerated on Twitter.
