The ladies were glamorous with all the designer clothes and cocktail dresses, but it wasn't costumey. Right. Now they always have glam and stylists. Things that weren’t too common for housewives back in the day. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151621-s14e09-beachy-keen/page/3/#findComment-8568894

Dorit would be equally responsible for the debt accumulated during the marriage, but not for debt accumulated after a legal separation. I remember reading that the 10-year rule was why Tom Cruise pulled the plug with Nicole Kidman shortly before their 10th anniversary. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151621-s14e09-beachy-keen/page/3/#findComment-8569042

Every time I see a glam squad working on a "Housewife" I feel it is a bit much (maybe the reunions could be an exception.) I enjoy seeing the ladies do their own hair and makeup...and many do an exceptional job. I think Erika started the trend and now most of them feel the need to have a glam squad on call at the drop of a hat. 6 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151621-s14e09-beachy-keen/page/3/#findComment-8569160

Yes - especially when we are supposed to believe that they paid to fly the entire "squad" across the country, to another country, etc. I call BS on the whole thing 😃 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151621-s14e09-beachy-keen/page/3/#findComment-8569719

I believe Kyle and Vanderpump did their own makeup for years, not sure if Kyle still does. They both always looked beautiful. Makeup doesn’t come as easily to everyone though. IRC, Camille began the show doing her own makeup but got a lot of flack for it, so she started to use makeup artists. I get that. The public can be really hard. I don’t think it was flying around with a glam squad nonsense though. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151621-s14e09-beachy-keen/page/3/#findComment-8569739

It's a violation of his privacy, and he's no longer on the show anyway. Agree. I wouldn't do it if it were my husband. Quote And, wow - no big surprise that Erika has not ever been "in love" in her life. Maybe because she's "inherently cold." Even if Dorit is just digging for info on PK, I still wouldn't be ok with someone telling my husband that they keep his secrets and always will. I wouldn't like it either. On 1/29/2025 at 8:36 AM, janiema said: Did I hear correctly that PK’s sponsor said the couple should separate? No, Dorit was speculating about whether the separation was PK's or his sponsor's idea. She said the sponsor was there when they talked. I'd be surprised if a sponsor suggested this. Good sponsors do not give marital advice. They take the person through the steps and support their sobriety. It is sometimes said you may have to change "people, places and things" to stay sober. However, it is also recommended that you don't make any major changes in the first year of sobriety. So I think Dorit is speculating and doesn't want to admit that PK decided to leave her. PK could've just told his sponsor he was nervous about talking to Dorit and asked him to be there for support. JMO Edited 4 hours ago by Sweet-tea Computer keeps changing Dorit to Doris. It seems like it would take a lot, so I don't really blame him. The way she is throwing him under the bus and calling him a raging alcoholic on TV says a lot about her character. Some people overeat and some have trouble eating. On 1/29/2025 at 10:27 AM, Natalie68 said: Portia was doing everything she could to NOT say you aren't welcome. Talk about a human dingleberry. Yep. hoodooznoodooz 3 hours ago Share 3 hours ago I still haven’t watched this episode or the New York episode. I moved out of my house last week. We are subletting from a very nice family. But I don’t think they have Peacock or cable On Demand. I kind of listened to it live Tuesday, as I was working as a personal assistant. But I am dying to study it. Ronnie and Ben said that Kyle agreed to buy a Porsche for Portia, so that she will be able to guilt Portia into inviting her to join them for lunch.
