Every time I see a glam squad working on a "Housewife" I feel it is a bit much (maybe the reunions could be an exception.)  I enjoy seeing the ladies do their own hair and makeup...and many do an exceptional job.  I think Erika started the trend and now most of them feel the need to have a glam squad on call at the drop of a hat.

Yes - especially when we are supposed to believe that they paid to fly the entire "squad" across the country, to another country, etc.  I call BS on the whole thing 😃

I believe Kyle and Vanderpump did their own makeup for years, not sure if Kyle still does. They both always looked beautiful. 

Makeup doesn’t come as easily to everyone though. IRC, Camille began the show doing her own makeup but got a lot of flack for it, so she started to use makeup artists. I get that. The public can be really hard. I don’t think it was flying around with a glam squad nonsense though.

No, Dorit was speculating about whether the separation was PK's or his sponsor's idea. She said the sponsor was there when they talked. I'd be surprised if a sponsor suggested this. Good sponsors do not give marital advice. They take the person through the steps and support their sobriety.

It is sometimes said you may have to change "people, places and things" to stay sober. However, it is also recommended that you don't make any major changes in the first year of sobriety. So I think Dorit is speculating and doesn't want to admit that PK decided to leave her. PK could've just told his sponsor he was nervous about talking to Dorit and asked him to be there for support. JMO

I still haven’t watched this episode or the New York episode. I moved out of my house last week. We are subletting from a very nice family. But I don’t think they have Peacock or cable On Demand. I kind of listened to it live Tuesday, as I was working as a personal assistant. But I am dying to study it. Ronnie and Ben said that Kyle agreed to buy a Porsche for Portia, so that she will be able to guilt Portia into inviting her to join them for lunch.

Ronnie and Ben are from Watch What Crappens, right? They were the “bartenders” on Thursday’s (I think or Wednesday’s) WWHL. I was like, OMG, these are the guys I always hear about on Primetimer! They are officially Andy approved. Once you figure out how to watch it, you should check out your fellas, too. Hope you settle into your new home.

A couple of days ago, I turned on my local PBS station and there was a show called To Dine for  with host Kate Sullivan. She was doing a one on one interview with Boz.   Other episodes included people such as Ken Burns and Richard Branson.  Boz was asked about her background, education, and her rise through media and marketing giant companies.  I gotta say this…Boz is very, very smart and extremely savvy.   She did say that whenever she joined a new company that she took time to really listen to her colleagues and staff.  Of course, that’s what Boz said about Dorit.  That she, Boz, likes to listen and Dorit likes to talk.  I wonder if any of the other ladies took the time to really talk to Boz. If not, perhaps that’s why the two of them bonded.  Or perhaps she also evaluated the situation and decided an alliance with Dorit was the smart thing to do.  Or maybe it was a combination of the two.

Frankly, I don’t think any of the other ladies, other than perhaps Jennifer, could out strategize Boz if Boz really wanted to play.

Thank you for the tip @Pattycake2!  This looks like a great show, wish my local PBS carried it.   I have to say that becoming a RHOBH does make me think a little less of her otherwise stellar career.  I cannot imagine what her and Dumb Dorito have to talk about.  Maybe that's why Boz just listens and lets Dorito ramble on.  And on.   And on.

My dad would have said she was "striking" - there is something that draws your eyes to her and keeps your attention, but it isn't that she's universally "pretty" (whatever that means).

Sorry! I was being sarcastic 🙃, because they have already showed us a scene with Sutton and the U-Haul, visiting Garcelle’s beach house, with a baby blue SMEGMA appliance. 
 

And then an episode, with Garcelle bringing her sons and O.J. (God help us) to her beach house. 
 

I also think that there was a scene in the last season about Garcelle creating her dream beach house.

I think it’s possible that Sutton yanked her shorts up to her armpits, because she is well-aware that she is kind of apple-shaped. 

I suspect, subconsciously, Dorit is loving this separation. Because it now gives her permission to talk even more, if that’s possible. They have no choice but to nod sympathetically.

Sutton was in the right to interrupt her and remind everyone that Garcelle was waiting and wanted the day to be fun, for a change.

They were drunk, but I also thought it was hilarious. Garcelle tries to have this big sentimental and symbolic moment in which they’re going to speak their hopes and dreams into existence…and the wish lanterns get absolutely obliterated. Considering some of them are mourning the loss of their marriages or other big life-changing moments they’re not sure how it will turn out, it definitely gave some significance and weight to the moment that wouldn’t have been there say if the lanterns were just decorative. They were putting their positive intentions for their lives into these lanterns, and the universe was like: not so fast. I, too, would have been falling down laughing. The symbolism and the irony! It would have been a great moment in a scripted show, so all that more perfect that it just so happened in “real life.”

I thought it was a great scene, even though I would have preferred the lanterns soar into the sky as Garcelle intended. It was just so authentic and the ladies were beyond goofy.  Loved it!
