If they're the same as what I had as a kid, it's a packet of flavored powder that you mix into a pitcher of water and add your own sugar. I think it called for a cup of sugar for a two-liter pitcher. Which as a kid I thought was not enough and now just sounds disgustingly sweet.

The sugar free version is a packet of unsweetened, 2 quarts of water and 1/2 cup of cup-for-cup Splenda.

I stopped at a local fruit stand, overpriced gourmet food place today in anticipation of tomorrow’s snow storm. I left with four different kinds of carbs—two cinnamon rolls, two lemon poppy muffins, a loaf of warm French bread and a small challah. Oh, and a small container of fruit salad (which included grapes—duhn, duhn, duhn). Carbs, my favorite food group.

I'm coming over! I'll bring a roll of grassfed sweet butter and some apple cider to mull with cinnamon sticks.
