Hi all!  I am a bit late joining you because I was checking in on my Mom who literally just arrived in her hotel in Houston (a couple miles up the street from Dr. Now's office!) at the same time the show started.  She said the traffic was absolutely horrendous and she got motion sickness, thank goodness for the kind cab driver who helped her walk into the hotel.   

Eating habit tonight is leftover jambalaya and probably a piece of salmon (I am not sure if it's still good so I am going to cook it and then I will taste it, if anything's off I will toss it)

She has anxiety and panic attacks. She was beaten up as a child. Her grandmother was around. That's all I caught.

I recently discovered the Yuka app and I have been scanning everything in my house. (Even the bottle of rum. It told me they don't rate alcohol "but you know what you're doing.")

Son reminds me of someone but I can't figure out who. She said something about being there for their graduation so I'm guessing they are in high school?

I heard mom and grandma worked a lot and she had to take care of subs and she had low self esteem so became promiscuous.

The son mentioned something about not having to walk on eggshells around her. It was wierd that he said that. Is her family mean ? Does she tell him bad things about them and her childhood? He also mentioned she is all she has….sad family dynamic by the sounds of it

Yes. She said she wants to be in good shape for the graduation. We will see.

I get motion sickness, too; I feel for her. That was nice of the driver.

There is no way this agoraphobic, anxious, depressed food addicted woman is ever going to follow the plan. I like her voice and she does have nice inflections when she speaks, so I hope she takes this seriously.

Her breakfast is something...  a dozen eggs??? 

Her daughter is on her way to being the same as Mom.  The son is surprisingly skinny.   

Her face is misshapen by all the fat, but on younger photos she was quite pretty.  I hope she does well and goes back to being a pretty woman.  She is only a year older than me!  Still a young woman with plenty of potential, if only she reaches for it!

I have battled driving anxiety for over 10 years. I'm actually better now, because I do CBT, mindfulness and I force myself to drive every day.

It also sounds like she has some debilitating mental health issues, which will make this even harder. She couldn’t even make it to the office

She does work. She talked about the anxiety getting bad and working from home.

She doesn't need talk therapy. No letters to daddy. She needs CBT.

She said she was supposed to be put on meds for the depression but couldn't go to the doctor due to panic attacks so she is not on any medication. I guess telemedicine is not an option for her? Sure, Jan.

She said at the top of the show she doesn't go to the doctor.

With her weight, I am not sure how to even dose her, a lot of anxiety meds are weight dosed.  I would be afraid to that I would kill her because her weight is so off the charts...  but any 'normal person' dose is not likely to be very effective... especially because she is essentially self-triggering constantly.

Well...I took the leap to let my natural gray hair grow in, along with my hair stylist. First stage is basically highlights all over the head with an ashy rinse? It's so much lighter than my usual died hair. We'll see how it goes.
