He is STILL not following the diet! If he was he would lose weight!

Oh here we go. "You believe in me! My family believes in me! I won't let you down!" Dr. Now does not give a fuck, Juan!

Not one word about the Lord. Hmm.

The Lord wants NO PART of this nonsense. Actually, He is telling him to take that cross off, but per usually Juan is not listening to authorities.

We are in the middle of a snowstorm here in Toronto…anyone else?

We got about 4 inches here in central NJ last night. It was kinda heavy and wet and the temp was right around freezing when I left for work this morning. It was pretty easy to push it off my car (and wet enough to not blow all over the place or be frozen to the windows) but gravity was definitely helpful with that. I only had to shovel a few clumps left by the snow plow from behind my car; if I'd had to do real shoveling it would have been a lot harder. Roads were wet but clear on my way to work. (Though there was a trafffic light out near work; looked like power lines down on the other side so cops were directing traffic. But the weather didn't stop the never-ending work going on under the bridge right before my building, which was reduced to one lane so I got stuck waiting for them to let us go.)

We're expecting lots of snow overnight, but it hasn't started yet. I'm hoping to go to Boston to visit my brother this weekend, and I'm concerned there's a possible nor'easter heading out way. Has anyone in that area heard anything?

Pray for my snowblower. She's quite the princess...starts when she *feels* like it.

Sending good vibes your way!

My angel of a neighbor snowblowed our sidewalk and the end of our driveway the other day. Apparently he has an unwritten rule that if he is the first one on the street out with his snowblower he clears the whole sidewalk. Great guy.

"I'm not a needy person". Excuse me while I die laughing. He has raised needy to an art form.

They should turn this into a Cheaters reboot where they follow him and plant hidden cameras..thenDr. Now confronts him

I watch a youtube channel called Kiana Docherty and sometimes she does reactions to shows like Secret Eaters and stuff like that. I don't know if she had surgery but I know she lost about 100 pounds. She talks a lot about health and nutrition topics and habit change.

I live in a condo and we got 4 " of snow last night. Was woken up at 2 am by the plow clearing the lot, since I'm retired it makes no difference to me. I can sleep in as late as I want. And we are getting more snow tonight!

I'll retire in about six years, and I'm so excited about not having to go anywhere when it snows!

Sean of Steel on YouTube is a former 600-lb man who does reactions to weight loss shows. He's a gem!!

Same here. My bedroom is right on top of the garage, thus the driveway is right there too. I live on a private way and we all pay for the plow guy who also does a few of the driveways (like mine). He does a good job, spreads salt and sand if needed. Luckily I don’t usually have to be anywhere early in the morning.

(edited)

I can not imagine needing that much help or demanding it all of the time. When my vertigo was really bad last week my husband literally had to help me in and out of the shower ( it’s a tub shower combo) and in and out of bed because the spinning was so bad I was afraid of falling. Poor guy took on all the household chores. I feel guilty though he doesn’t mind it. These people shouting out demands to their loved ones makes me stabby.

I had to get up super early and be out of the house a few days ago because I had multiple appointments that morning. I cant believe I did that sh#t daily for decades before I retired

When I do have to be somewhere early and buck rush hour traffic, I can’t believe people do that day after day, year after year. What an ordeal.

I do, too. I heard the plow truck going around a couple times after I went to bed, so around 11:30 ish, and they were out there this morning. The roadways were clear by the time I left.

If it's bad enough I can just work from home, but even if I don't have to go anywhere, if there's enough snow we have to clear out our cars and be ready to move them when the snow folks get to our section. They come in with the mini bulldozers and just clear all the spaces at once. But at least I only have to dig enough to be able to get out. (Finding a place to move it to is sometimes a challenge, though, depending on how much they've done. Last year one time I parked it at the sub shop on the corner, but they were closed so I figured it wouldn't matter.)

It is the most wonderful feeling to sit in my blanket and pillow nest, sipping tea and watching the snow fall, knowing I don't have to go out in it.

And my former bus goes right by my house. Whenever I see it going by I just say "so long suckers, you poor bastards". When I remember trudging out to my bus stop in the dark EVERY DAY to go to work, I can't believe I did it.
