I don't understand players at this point NOT practicing fire. Like how are you a fan of the show and not know that the rules were changed years ago where once you're in Final 4 and don't win immunity, you may have to make fire.

So Sam, no offense but if you lose because you didn't care enough to practice making fire, you deserved to lose.

I don't get what it is with this season and people have these personal grudges for seemingly no reason.

The way Sue is carrying on I'm hoping Sam beats Teeny in fire.  The only thing I'm looking forward to in this season ending is not having to listen to her whine and complain every week about someone.

1000% agree

Sam doesn’t do well with challenges, does he even know how to make fire?

It doesn't look like it but I'm praying the fire gods are on Sam's side tonight.  Rachel will probably win but she's gotten to be condescending for me in this late stage.  So whatever, she deserves it but she's far from a Survivor great like some of the women that came before her.  And Sue has done nothing, Teeny's been clueless on many votes...like Rachel couldn't have this game handed to her on a shinier silver platter.

ETA: and in fairness, I don't think Sam is exactly deserving because it seemed like Sierra really was the brains of that duo (even if she did get outsmarted by Andy, so make of that what you will).

Sue would have won at fire, she does it all the time, evidence soot face. I think Sam is playing dumb, j think he’s going to beat T at fire.

It's why I'm surprised Rachel wouldn't put Sue in fire.  I mean it doesn't matter how good one is, it can still be a gamble for many reasons that are sometimes beyond the players control.  But if you want someone out bad enough and think fire is their weak spot, why not put someone in whose strong at it?  I think Sue might understand, and if she lost that's her problem.

I don't disagree, but this cast has seemed pretty lax when it comes to the basic rules, etiquette, and premise of Survivor.  The fact any of them even bothered to try and make fire and keep it tended for 25 days is surprising.

Teeny really hates men doesn’t she? Sam was never a threat, he sucked at challenges.

Their hate for Sam seems odd.  It just seems like they are blaming Sam for every bad thing his "type" has done to them in life.

Still love Teeny though, as bitter as they may be at times for no reason.  It seems like they acknowledge it really is them, not Sam, that has the issue and he hasn't done anything wrong.  I'll take it from someone whose young and 23 and not a 59-year old posing as 45-year old that holds grudges for people daring to play the game and because they want to be in with the cool kids.

Any Survivor historians know the two other women who won four immunities but did not win Sole Survivor, what happened with them?

It seems like you would have to fail epically to win such a large percentage of the immunity challenges but not get the ultimate W.

One was Kelly Wigglesworth, which was the first season of the show, when Richard Hatch won.

And it was a close vote 5-4. A lot of people believe Hatch's win came down to Sue and her epic speech.

Although many will also argue that while Kelly was a challenge beast, she didn't run the game, Richard did.
