Oh I LOVE to thrift. And isn't it great to have lost a lot of weight and be able to find things at the thrift? Congratulations!  We went to Savers today and I found my husband a nice Eddie Bauer quarter zip for about $9. I found yet another Farberware pan, which I bought even though I have about a hundred, because it came with the lid. I did pass on yet more Pyrex bowls (classic, green and yellow). We also did the liquor store (Xmas gifts), TJ Maxx (more gifts) and grocery shopping. Came home and wrapped presents. I am exhausted. Have to wrap more tomorrow. Lots more.

Not that anyone here cares, but I've been MIA and not watching the show due to family issues, I got my real ID (had to take the test, which makes no sense as I haven't had a ticket or an accident since the Obama years) and I officially retired. Because I was born so late in December, I don't get my first real gov check until Feb. It  feels odd. I never thought I'd get this old.

I pulled the trigger earlier than I had planned because the world is such a mess.  I never cared the world was a mess because I was too damn busy, but I have more time now to watch drones in New Jersey, care for my parents-who will be married 65 years this month, and watch really bad TV. I'm here for mostly for the bad TV.
