Weren't any of the current team around in Season 4 when an episode involved a driverless car that locked a Navy officer in and killed her?  Maybe McGee was the only one.  Ducky would have remembered.

Not that the two instances were related, but they might have mentioned NCIS had had a previous driverless car incident.

Yes.  Abbie got trapped inside the killer car too by climbing into it in the garage lab while McGee sat at a laptop a few feet away not seeing that the car was busy killing Abbie until the last second, lol.

So now we learn that Special Agent Donut Guy had a mother who disappeared when he was a kid while going out for donuts?  Okay, lol.

Off to Origins for this week's episode featuring a young Gibbs killing the guy who killed his wife and daughter neither of whom had any connection to donuts.

Okay, what did the paper have on it?

”You can’t tell anyone”. I had to stop action twice to confirm “anyone”, as from a distance, it might have looked like “mother”. Clueless on what it means.

I was intrigued by Doctor Grace's approach to Lily. TV standard is going to fish for repressed memories, her insistence that that could cause false memories was quite refreshing because the controversy surrounding the issue barely makes it into tv. I also liked how she separated Mum from Lily and respected Parker's wish to keep whatever had happened with his mother to be shelved for the time being. Her suggestions for Parker to ignore the past and deal with the present moment when Lily appears sounds as if she's practicing gestalt therapy.

As for the car murders - that was really cold-blooded and I would like to say far-fetched but that might be naive. I enjoyed the other agencies having a field day with the BOLO.

And I'm with Parker - stop the elevator abuse!

Less Kasie please.  Doesn't she have vacation soon?

I'm the other way.  Kasie is the only one I still like on the show.  Well if Jimmy returns to be his old silly self that would be okay too because that made Jimmy somewhat endearing.

How has this show come to be ALL about donuts?  Special Agent Doughnut turned out to have a Mommy Doughnut.

Jimmy has gone back to being silly!  I really don't think he ever stopped!

All these years with Abby and her cuteness and computer knowledge and now we have a character that tries to be funny and ends up being annoying!  I guess since there was Abby with her cute  personality, why do we need another character trying to be the same way?

The writers are up their own ass to think viewers remember the "angels" conversation from the ship season finale. This is a pass-the-time procedural, not Netflix's Stranger Things.

Same writer did this season's Halloween episode, and re- brought up Parker and Knight discussing Shelley Winters in Poseidon Adventure. Another ship conversation.

As long as Kasie is not running around the building yelling 'Parker, Parker, Parker!' I'm okay with her. Abby was fine in the beginning but over the years she started to grate - especially her knack of forcing her coworkers to do things they did not want to do. Which I never found as endearing as the writers seemed to do.

I always felt they kept Abby's character locked in as a mid-20s free spirit/goth girl and she was on the show for 14 or 15 years.  At that point the character would have been early 40s and they were still writing her as this kid.

Back to the episode - it was unbelievable that they didn't investigate the wife from the beginning.  Even though she seemed to be a victim, not one of these crack investigators thought it was suspicious that in all the carjackings, she was the only survivor?  Always investigate the nearest and dearest, especially when a financial motive is very likely.

And I think they kept her as a free spirit that didn't sell out.  A lot of people keep their edge and don't becoming boring, middle-aged "generic" people (aka what "society" thinks is "proper" for older people) like apparently McGee has become.  McGee lost his mojo when he stopped being an Elf Lord.  He is a real bore on this show now.

Yeah, the car driving itself thing has been done before on the show, but the last time it was, such technology was years away from being made available to the public. I'm not sure how common car hacking is, but the fact is, technology can simply malfunction and take a passenger on an unwanted joyride.  A friend bought a car years ago that was doing all sorts of weird shit when they got it.

I liked Grace's approach to Parker's recurring issue, not going the repressed memory route. But there is something in Parker's head that needs to get knocked out.  He says he doesn't know who Lily is, and at this point, I don't think he's hiding anything.  I'm just wondering where the writers are going with this.

I liked Grace's brief "WTF was that?" look when Parker kissed her forehead. Also, agencies getting a kick out of NCIS having their car driven away.

Abby was Abby. If you liked her, that was great, but if you didn't, you weren't going to be converted.

As for McGee, yeah, he's changed a little. He does have a wife and kids these days, which would have been unfathomable for the McGee of 20 years ago. We'd had more than a few man-children on this show, Tony being the prime example. It's OK if some of them actually grow up. It's not "selling out".

It is also not "growing up" as in this is the natural and "correct" course for a person to take as they age.  And to NOT "grow up" (as defined here) is somehow not the proper thing to do as we age.
