I know casting is hard but the actor who was supposed to be in high school looked at least 25. Great hair though. (Edited to add he’s 22)

I often find when actors do work with their spouse, it falls flat. They just didn’t work for me but it’s not like she’s a regular.

Well I think the improvement continues this season. Much more interesting cases, though I could do with fewer dead bodies. Why does someone always have to be murdered now? There are other ways to create gripping drama and high stakes.

Anyhow, I thought they toned down the duplicity on Billie and it was huge improvement. She was more likeable and Colter didn't look like a moron for helping her.

The biohacking angle was interesting, and I liked that it wasn't all the wrong-side-of-the-tracks girlfriend's fault for getting the athlete involved in shady business — not really, at least. He was trying to help her, yes, but he decided this was a way to make big bucks. And they treated her with compassion and didn't act like she was irredeemable because she needed rehab.

Delay in start time because of football/60 Minutes.

During the week I wasn’t even in the room and heard the dreaded words “Sunday, after the NFL”. So, I added an hour to the Tracker DVR timer.

I think I dozed off in the middle and missed the explanation for the oxy in the kid's glove.

I'm not enjoying the show as much as I did last season. It's too mopey for my current mood.

The dad immediately said it must be the girlfriend’s. I assumed the kid hid it there (from her), along with the rehab money he earned through his blood donations.

On another note, I assume Colter’s dad wouldn’t let him play ball because he knew he’d do well and draw unwanted attention to the family. Sad.

I think that was pretty decent. Interesting case with some good turns. I liked how they approached Colter's Daddy issues in this episode. In the first meeting with the Dad he realized that having a supportive Dad can have its dark sides too and then gave the guy some pointers to course correct. Their final scene was great.

I don't mind Billie that much and I think her backstory helped explaining a bit why she acts the way she does. Even if it was a bit clichéd. There is not much chemistry between the two but there's also not much indication that they are supposed to be the show's OTP.

The most BORING episode ever! 😵

Please STOP shoving Billie Matalon down our throats. They tone her down, no more flirty banters wt Colter, they even give her a backstory. UGH. 🙄

I don’t care about Billie, bring Reenie back!!!

Of course, it didn't help her reputation that she strong arms a local into giving her the information she wants.  Assault and battery, anyone?

Decent episode. Still hate their one corpse a week quota.

Ha! I knew that no one was going to get that huge reward. And when the guy rescinded it, knew he was involved. Seems dumb to target a star player, though.

This show could really be more fun if it wanted to. It's like they wanna be the next Equalizer, which has its own issues, but at least there's better team interaction and fashion to distract me.

They definitely tweaked Billie a lot. And decided to ignore that there was bad blood between her and Colter. I can tolerate her once a season. ONCE.

not a bad episode and compared to last week's episode it was pretty good!

I don't mind Billie and I like when Colter interacts with people he knows, he's funny and way more likable.

The case was somewhat interesting and I knew who the bad guy was the second I saw Howard from Better Call Saul, he aged a lot since that show ended..

was the coach involved? I wasn't paying too much attention near the end

About mid-way thru, they made it seem the coach was deeply implicated. Then it was never brought up again.

I'll do you one better: I knew he was the killer when I saw Patrick Fabian's name in the opening credits. Sometimes I wish I didn't notice the credits.
