Xeliou66 September 23 Share September 23 Looking forward to it - this show has the best cases of the 3 FBIs, always good twists and investigations. I love the current team as well - they gel well together and I like how the screen time is split pretty evenly. I’m on the side that likes Remy as the leader and I like the addition of Nina as well. 2 Link to comment
Xeliou66 October 16 Share October 16 Strong start to the season, another good case with a creepy villain. I liked the case and investigation and how they got to the bottom of it. I did wonder why the villain targeted the college at the end - was he angry because he didn’t go to college and he saw people from college as thinking they were better than him? That was my best guess. The rest of it made sense, at least from the perp’s twisted viewpoint, he was clearly unbalanced and had a screwed up past and finally snapped. Interesting that Barnes was MIA, figured everyone would be around to start the season, at least they referenced her. I liked the reference to Crosby as well. I really like this current team and I think they gel well together. Nice to have the FBI shows back! 4 Link to comment

Hedgehog2022 October 16 Share October 16 (edited) Good opening to a new season...however...a few critques: #1 Nina looks anorexic...she's stick thin. Also, I wish this show would be a little more realistic with how Nina dresses. No FBI field agent would be wearing a low cut designer blouse and boots with heels. Comfortable low heel shoes that an agent can run in are required. Tight skinny jeans, the aforementioned blouse and heeled boots are strictly Hollywood wardrobe outfits. I guess she's the sex symbol for this franchise...disappointing and a WTF??? I live in a neighborhood outside of DC and many of our neighbors are FBI, CIA and Secret Service. None of the women I know that work in these agencies EVER dress like this for work especially in the field. Edited October 17 by Hedgehog2022 spelling error 9 1 Link to comment
Snazzy Daisy October 17 Author Share October 17 (edited) S06•E01 — Aquarium Drinker It’s S06 premiere and Sheryll is already MIA. Not a good sign. 😬 So Hana and shady Ethan are a thing now? That is one ugly bouquet of flowers. You can do better, Hana. Remy calling the restaurant guy a “wiseass” when he has been called the same by an auntie in a previous case. How ironic! 😆 Shantel VanSanten obviously has new biceps. 💪🏼 Re COTW, Gary is one twisted man. His sick thoughts about his mom are bloody disgusting. rr2911 October 19 Share October 19 Another good episode. FBIMW never fails me for interesting cases. Funny thing...I didn't miss Barnes at all. I wonder if Hana ever stopped going after pedos "after hours"? The show never touched on that again. Or could this guy, the Air Marshal guy be one of those creeps? I still miss Kristin! Nina is ok but not believable. I had forgotten about Remy's gf. On 10/16/2024 at 12:43 AM, Xeliou66 said: Strong start to the season, another good case with a creepy villain. It was kind of funny, it was at the crime scene and Remy and Hana were discussing why the girlfriend was sleeping in a different room than the detective, and Hana said to Remy “did I ever tell you about my old roommate Crosby?” and mentioned that Crosby had trouble sleeping and snored in his sleep and that their victim the detective wore something to help with his sleeping as well, as did Crosby, and that’s why the girlfriend wasn’t sleeping with the cop. Like you I’m skeptical of Hana’s friend Ethan, something about that dude seems off. I for one don’t miss Kristin at all, she was cold and standoffish and didn’t gel very well with everyone else. In fact, Kristin is the only character on this show I wasn’t a fan of. Nina is much more likable and has better chemistry with the others IMO. Crosby- I remember that scene but I guess I wondered off because I just figured it was small talk between Hana and Remy. Kristin- Lol! I thought she came in letting everyone know that she knew her stuff and was a hard-nosed agent. She wasn't just another attractive agent. She was tough! I guess that's what I liked about her. Not every workplace is a Cumbaya environment. Nina- I do like her but she's the eye candy of the show? She's the only one that dresses like she's ready to go clubbing! I guess she dressed this way on FBI and they didn't want to change anything. Edited October 20 by rr2911 Link to comment

It's in the Wilco song "I Am Trying to Break Your Heart," from Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, but unsure if that's what the ep title is from. Xeliou66 October 23 Share October 23 Another good episode - a bit different from most cases here in that it was more of a tragedy of kids being stupid than anyone being truly evil or unhinged, but a compelling story nonetheless. In the end I didn’t feel sorry for any of them, Will was a bully who drove a girl to suicide, and so was Zach, but Zach didn’t deserve to die for it and the girls were old enough to know better than to commit kidnapping and murder and the one girl seemed to have a mean streak. And Will’s dad was a prick. I liked Remy’s disgust with all of them and at the whole situation, all of those kids deserved a lengthy jail sentence. The AI stuff is scary, not the first time a Dick Wolf show has dealt with this, it is a relevant issue. I thought the deepfake of Remy was odd in that it was shoehorned in kind of and didn’t really get resolved other than Isobel saying she would try to clear it up. Instead of the personal stuff with Ray, I would’ve preferred some resolution to the deepfake of Remy situation, that bit felt tacked on. I did laugh at Remy eating the food from the fridge, that was random, maybe a comic relief moment in a serious and tragic episode? But I like Remy and the charisma he brings to the show. Another good episode and this is my favorite of the 3 FBI shows. 3 Link to comment

Quote “How can I do it better?” That’s a humble and good place to start, Ray Ray. The realtor lady in this episode wears the same blouse as Elise Taylor from FBI (S07•E02). sweetandsour October 23 Share October 23 The redhead's mom (aka True Owner of the Stolen Peaches) was played by Paige Davis, the longtime host of Trading Spaces!! It's nice to see her disturbed by something other than, say, Hildi's designs. I was grinding my teeth the whole time about these horrible teenagers. More so about the boys than the girls, but it was gross and sobering. The deep fake video of Remy looked so fake to the human eye. Even if you didn't know what he looks like now, it looked so fake. I might be more inclined to believe it if someone played it off an old, low-quality VHS recording but this was allegedly a press conference that day. Looking forward to the season-ending revelation that Remy has TMJ, gasp!!! 2 Link to comment

GiandujaPie October 24 Share October 24 I missed what they said about Barnes and how did Hana still dating the air marshal come up? I missed that too. I didn't understand why the MW team got involved in a missing teen case to begin with. It would have made more sense for them to get involved after they knew he was abducted by the 2 girls and the team knew they were chasing them, but they got involved at the beginning when it looked like just a missing kid case. Criminal Minds used to get involved in missing child cases too, and I always wondered if that many FBI resources would be expended so soon before anyone knew if the child was abducted for ransom or across state lines. For example, I remember one where a child went missing from a mall and they whole team descended upon the mall. How did they know the kid didn't just wander off and get lost? Similarly, in this case, in the very beginning, what if it turned out that Zach had just run away? The FBI case this week, with them tracking down 2 prisoners who escaped, including a violent serial killer, seemed like it should have been a MW case instead. 1 Link to comment

Xeliou66 October 30 Share October 30 Another strong case - I liked the hunt for the fugitives and figuring out what they were going to do. A good investigation, I had no sympathy for any of the criminals, they hurt a lot of innocent people and the guy in particular seemed like a real psychopath. This show consistently delivers good cases. What was with Nina’s dad though? He was a royal jackass, he seemed normal enough just cantankerous at the start but he went completely nuts in his last scene and came off as a psycho. I couldn’t tell what his deal was, but Nina is right to not have anything to do with him now - he was way out of line at the end. The whole thing just seemed bizarre. 6 Link to comment

Snazzy Daisy October 30 Author Share October 30 S06•E03 — White Buffalo COTW involving climate change and eco-terrorists bores me, every time. Plus, Trevor and Emma are very annoying. I thought Emma is gonna be the smart one, but she is just a follower. Quote “Let’s go, Patty Hearst!” So, Nina’s real name is Marina??! Am not interested in her family drama. But I have to admit that she looks so stylish throughout this episode. 👍🏻 What bothers me the most about Scolina is why we never see Scola holding baby Dougie? 👀 Well, there’s no opportunity for Remy to steal foods this time. 😂 4 Link to comment
GiandujaPie November 1 Share November 1 The male eco-terrorist was a true psychopath. He enjoyed all of the killing he did. Glad to know Barnes is coming back. I remember now that the actress went on maternity leave. Not sure what was going on with Nina's dad. I'm assuming he was just supposed to be a stereotypical red stater who thinks blue states like New York are all hellscapes. But there seems to be a backstory that we don't know. I vaguely remember Nina mentioning something about growing up in Texas (and not in a good way) years ago on regular FBI but what is the deal with her changing her name from Marina to Nina? 2 1 Link to comment

Agreed on the male ecoterrorist. I feel like he also wanted to be famous. And cared more about that than the environment. I was also unsure about Nina's dad. I thought maybe "Marina" was a pet name he called her, but Nina was her actual name? I felt her discomfort when they were in scenes together, so good acting job on her part. I wondered if there was past abuse of some sort, as he was being rather controlling in trying to pay for everything. Or maybe just misogyny, disapproving of her choices, being an independent woman. 1 Link to comment
rr2911 November 3 Share November 3 First of all, I'm still not missing Barnes but I understand she's coming back next week. I thought the show ran smoother with only the 4 agents. Nina's husband calling her about her dad irritated me. He is an agent himself so why he is calling her when he knows she is on a case at that moment? I guess Nina's real name is Marina. We don't know the back story but again I was annoyed by her not liking her dad calling her Marina. The COTW's bad guys are becoming more predictable. I kind of know who the bad guys are before they do anything wrong. The show needs to spread the "wealth"! Nina still wears shoes like she's going on a date. Bring back Kristin! 1 Link to comment
Mellowyellow November 5 Share November 5 Boo I just logged on hear to find that Kristin is gone 😭😭😭 I’ve got two episodes of S4 left. I like Kristin!!!! Xeliou66 November 13 Share November 13 Good episode last night - interesting premise and an intense case. This show always delivers compelling cases, usually with evil villains. While it was nice to see Barnes again and to have the full team back, I was kind of annoyed at the whole “Barnes taking it personally” and going behind Remy’s back to investigate - the trope of a character “taking it personally” and going on a mission like this gets old and I thought Remy had the right to be pissed at her going behind his back. It will be interesting to see where Remy and Barnes’ relationship goes now since there’s definitely friction again between them - I wonder if it will be referenced in the future. They are definitely setting up something with Hana’s boyfriend Ethan. 4 Link to comment
EtheltoTillie November 13 Share November 13 (edited) OMG that was scary. I have been reading about these involuntary pig butchering operations, and they seem very frightening. but usually they are much larger and overseas. This was a little strange. I found it hard to watch, as I find watching such people be preyed on is a bit much for me. But why did we need the extra drama about whose case it was? They could have contacted Jubal and then worked together, since Barnes had the trust of the caller. Yes, what's going on with Hana's boyfriend? She was going roller skating, but then she just decided to stay home and drink two bottles of wine with Barnes? She's not even calling the guy to let him know? Huh? illdoc November 13 Share November 13 (edited) So, you know the FBI is after you. Do you (a) run & set up operations elsewhere, killing all your prisoners/workers (after all, you have killed already) (b) run & set up operations elsewhere, leaving behind all your prisoners/workers (since they know nothing except your names as "C" & "D" (and the FBI already knows your names)) or (c) stick around beating up those workers trying to find "the mole" (which accomplishes, what? So you discover it was just an accident that the pre-programmed number belongs to an FBI agent? What are you going to do---investigate each number to make sure it doesn't belong to Law Enforcement?) That's right--the criminals choose option c, after, of course, going to pick up another shipment of bags---the one piece of evidence to tie you to this operation. BTW, the wife was so concerned that if their accomplice got caught with the body he would flip on them. Gee, I don't remember the FBI even questioning him. And, when someone noticed cameras at the building and says "should I destroy them", did Remy actually say "No, they'll know we're coming" Right, destroying the cameras will alert them, but a half dozen people with a big "FBI" on their chests will go unnoticed. Snazzy Daisy November 13 Author Share November 13 S06•E04 — Pig Butchering Why are we seeing the animosity between Remy and Sheryll again? I thought we have moved past that. 😏 The Fugitive Task Force has no active cases, so why not doing some digging before simply passing it to Jubal? Unlike Remy, Jess LaCroix will definitely give this case some thoughts. I still miss this guy. 😣 As the most senior in the team, Sheryll has the right to remind Remy about the team supporting him on his brother’s cold case. But he has the nerve to say it’s different. How is that different??! Hey Sheryll, Remy doesn’t seem to value you in HIS team and he always treats you differently. Why not you give Jubal a call, you can partner with Scola. LisaM November 15 Share November 15 I really do not like Remy. Definite foreshadowing of something bad with Hana's boyfriend. I recall that they dropped the storyline of the new FBI agent who Hana had befriended but I think the boyfriend will actually be bad news. Good for Sheryll for following her instincts. Of course, telling Jubal would have been the right way to go. 1 Link to comment
rr2911 November 17 Share November 17 I yelled out a big "YES!!" when Remy told Barnes if she ever go rogue again she is off the team! Remy's correct in that they have cases and assignments for them. If Barnes felt fuzzy all over and wanted to help the girl, she should've notified the correct unit and that was to Jubal I had said when Hana met her BF that he seemed off. Remember she was going after PEDOS as a side gig on her own time! Could he be one of those dudes who caught on to her? Still missing Kristin! Xeliou66 Wednesday at 04:54 AM Share Wednesday at 04:54 AM Good episode - action packed and intense. Good investigation and manhunt, I liked how they figured it all out - the villains were all scum, I liked how Remy turned the brothers against each other to end the situation. I called the shot that they had inside help and since the female was the only character we saw that was working for the company I figured she was in on it, so no surprise there, still a good case. Remy’s “get Barney Fife out of there” line made me laugh, I love some of the lines Remy says. This show has consistently strong cases. Don’t care about Ray’s personal drama but at least the personal screen time is split pretty evenly between team members now. 5 Link to comment

circumvent Friday at 03:15 PM Share Friday at 03:15 PM I had no idea this show existed and when it showed up on my feed, I decided to try. Question: why is Dylan McDermott so angry and cranky all the time? I used to like him but he is terrible in this show, he looks like a child pouting after being told "no" by someone. I have to say, being someone that hates cop shows, this one gets about 2/3 of the things right. FBI agents are usually just as dicks as regular cops, have no respect for anyone, love to display authority, are arrogant and full of shit. They also don't solve most of the cases. And that's the 1/3 of the episodes that is off: in the show, they always solve everything. Just another Dick Wolf fantasy. He must have an honorary badge or something. Appropriate name he has 1 Link to comment
