Hey all, I can’t believe I am here but needed to check out for a bit. Mom passed away early Friday…held a bedside vigil ( she was into tidal breath territory) but she passed in the middle of the night

I could really use the snark. Got the news that basically mom isn’t going to get better…ever. Now she has COVID on top of organ failure. It will be palliative care once the COVID passes…if it does. I

I gotta think them un inviting Chidi and Rayne was less about them sharing spoilers and more about her being a liability.  There’s Grangela unhinged but she’s OTT.

She is right. The difference between the pay rate/exchange rate in other places and the payrate here is amazing. I have family from Guatemala who bought 3 houses back in their home country in 10 years by working here.

Hi everyone! I will be here later tonight but may not contribute much. Saw an endocrinologist on Wednesday about osteoporosis (because I have had so many fractures). She ran some bloodwork along with the routine follow-up tests for my other doctors that the lab carelessly forgot to do when they took blood 2 weeks ago.

Anyway, still don’t have the routine results, but the obscure tests the endocrinologist ordered came back, and two are abnormal. So of course I googled and it’s mostly incomprehensible to this nonscientific person, but those two tests indicate I might have multiple myeloma! Which is really serious and has come out of the blue and put me in a tizzy.

Of course I messaged the doctor (raw test results came in Thursday and early Friday), but no response yet. And test results not yet reviewed by the care team. 

I will keep my phone on tonight in case they call me early tomorrow morning. Tonight, I hope to be distracted by your snark!

Can you find a nice Aussie girl for my son? He's handsome and super sweet and smart and kind and funny! He's a chef and is a good boyfriend! I'd feel a lot safer if he was in Oz for the next few years, if you get my drift. 

Hola my peeps! How's everyone's week been? My house is pretty much back to normal, houseguest and I are going through our stuff to donate, filled three trash bags already. Reorganizing like crazy! Had my first facial in a month and half today! My brother has organized overnight nursing assistants for my mother so there's a lot less stress going around. Big sighs of relief being breathed over here.
