I may be wrong, but I think part of Loren’s surgery was medically indicated.plus I don’t blame Loren for wanting to do something besides being a wife and mom.

Totally agree but she lost me when she admitted that she lied to her partner about the recovery time and admitted it was primarily cosmetic.  I am all for her having a career and goals outside being a mom…Alexi can take a thousand seats on that one. I don’t like either of them so no horse in this race 😂

So guys, I've been downsizing-huge purge of books (I have hundreds and hundreds) and ordered new, smaller, neater bookcases to replace the huge seven foot Doxeys I've had since the eighties. I'll be donating the books of course. We have little free libraries all over town, and there's always Savers. So, I posted the old cases on several of the local buy nothing/free stuff groups. Got several bites. Then not ONE person got back to me after saying "I'm interested! Can pick up tomorrow!" I sent friendly followup messages today. Not a peep. Radio silence. One person's either blocked me or deleted her profile. Why do people do this? Its so annoying1 Here I am, filled with the milk of human kindness, wanting to give my neighbors furniture, and they just ghost. WHY

Why don't they move to Cameroon for a year or two? Why not? It'd be great for their kids to know their dad's family and culture. Its not like Emily's going for her MBA.

I get a lot of this. I think a lot of buy nothing people are hoarders who respond to everything, then panic.
