Thanks, that's my take as well. I know scads of people with ADHD, and/or anxiety. They take care of themselves and do the best they can.

I have both. The difference between Stapler and the others described here is that we don't carry co-morbidity of being selfish assholes.

Notice there haven't been any talking heads of Stapler's family. I wonder why? Perhaps they've had enough.

I’m so sorry! I know this is no comfort right now, but can you go later in the year for a belated celebration?

Not till next spring or fall. Maybe. I need to get back in shape to walk, and remember how to prepare for a trip … and things have changed since my last, fall 2019, before the pandemic. And how I will have to be careful about eating low-sodium food, a pain. And no drinking! (I have liver disease though doing well.) Plus my friend Chantal has been battling breast cancer, and my “twin” Philippe travels a lot—he’s in Turkey now!—so I have to make sure I can see both of them. It’s a lot to consider!

i have been toying with the idea of moving to France for years, but even a trip seems daunting now!

my husband came home from working in Maine for a week, feeling kinda flu-y but not terrible. But today he had fever and chills and felt wobbly. Goes to the doctor. NP sends him home to take a covid test! Told him that if it came back negative he could go back. Can you imagine??

It's standard procedure nowadays to test yourself before going to the doctor if you have Covid symptoms. If you're positive you don't go and you make a telehealth appointment instead.

In show news this cast blows.

Sure, but they could have mentioned it! He called and said he was sick and made an appointment, would it have killed the receptionist to say "Oh and by the way take a covid test before you come in"? And they were not very nice to him when he dragged his poor sick ass down there.

Don't know where you live but it's a given here. Same with Flu, providers don't want you coming in and infecting them and other patients when they can see you over video instead. Hope he feels better.
