Unlike many whiskey snobs, I like Crown Royal, but it's only 80 proof.  That's actually a pretty bad spot to store liquor if it gets direct sun exposure.

Unfortunately, Gino letting his alcohol go bad due to bad storage is one of the few stories I can believe from them this season.  The timing of the "I quit my job" (and WTF didn't he just take an extended vacation?!) and "I spent your dress money on my butt" was just far too convenient to believe.  Likewise, Jasmine probably does have some psychological issues that contribute to her multiple plastic surgeries, but is this really the first time that's been brought up?

17 years ago, when she was in her early 30s, her Russian boyfriend was arrested for committing a crime in the US and deported to Moldova. Nikki went there to find him and he was living with another woman, but then she met 19 year old Igor and started a relationship with him, renaming him Justin. She brought him to the US on a K1 visa and only disclosed that she was trans during a heated argument and he returned to Moldova.

I admit I was multitasking as I had this on in the background, so I may have missed a few things, but....

Ashley & Manuel (Luis 2.0)---calling bullshit on the super passionate sex. The dude could barely mumble a sentence, his eyes half closed as he stomped behind her on the tour of the apartment----could he have BEEN less thrilled to be reunited with his soulmate? And we are to believe after that they had some sex marathon? Ok Jan. The dude is clearly looking for a green card, maybe not even necessarily because he wants out of Ecuador, but to get the chance to earn more $$ for his kids and eventually sponsor them. Super strange that he didn't say good bye to his family before getting on the plane. From the way he was talking about it, sounds like he thought they could easily persuade him to stay. Which means he isn't sure of what he wants.....

Gino and Jasmine---so she got $2000 for butt implants from her ex lover (probably still fucking him) Dane? And we are to believe they are just friends? OMG. There is no need to ever tell Gino that part, if she does it is for drama or to intentionally hurt him. It's not like Gino is going to demand her bank statement to see how much she contributed, etc. Plus a massage hurt but ass play the night before didn't hurt? Bullshit. 

Nikki.....oh Nikki....you looked so much better 17 years ago, even more feminine I would say. Now she looks like a blow up doll. I am curious how many relationships she has had over her lifetime after her transition. The chemistry between her and Igor was......off. More mother-son (ick when you throw in the sexy talk). 

Rob and Sophie....how TF is he going to sit there with a straight face and try to make her feel like she is being extra or super bougie by saying she wants a place with a bathroom INSIDE?! He knows that is odd. I want to like him, he seems like a decent guy with a good heart but he also seems very damaged and insecure from whatever struggles he faced growing up.

Yes- I thought he may have had some facial work done, or it may have been aging and weight loss which can change how your features appear. (My nose looks much sharper with weight loss) Also more men wear makeup than they would admit, and makeup can do A LOT to shape your face.

I think Jasmine did have a right to be upset about that. They are engaged and he just quits his job without discussing it with her???

Those two seem like a couple that have genuine chemistry but some of this HAS to be for the storyline. I do think Rob is insecure about his apartment and his income, so he gets a defensive. I did think he was genuine regarding his reacting to the entire “cheating” situation, I think the producers wanted them to bring it up but he’s sick of it.

Is that an illegal conversion of a commercial property?  There are SROs and dorms etc. with shared bathrooms but is it even legal to require the occupant to go outside to access the bathroom?  And yeah SoCal doesn’t usually get a lot of rain (it did so this year, too bad she wasn’t visiting then) but still people do use heat and AC at various times of the year so the weather isn’t always equivalent to that indoors.

All for the show. There was a camera shot of her butt when she was packing for her trip, and it looked massive. Ashley seems like a vibrant, intelligent woman. She seems to me like someone who would value a working guy who could pull his own weight, dresses well and can spring for a nice dinner. (At the very least!!) I would go into a depression having to deal with someone every day with such low energy and shows no emotion. Yes I noticed that. Cultural context matters- like in FL people wear sandals and flip flops so often (because of the weather) but in other parts of the USA flip flops not at the beach/pool would get second looks.

I am sorry, I may get bashed for saying this, but I do feel sometimes like people who are in marginalized communities, whether that is race or gender or sexual identity, SOME of those people make this their ENTIRE identity. And if anything ever goes wrong in their life, or they dont' get their way it is CLEARLY because they are trans, or gay, or whatever. I’m trying to figure out Sophie’s hair, she’s a beautiful girl but her hair appears to have been burned off with bleach.  Rob?  Has an ugly temper and seems to be such a jerk.  And I don’t know if I believe that her family doesn’t help her financially…or maybe I do, looking at her poor hair. ( I too once burned mine off all the way to the scalp in patches, so I’m feeling for her.)

I also think Gino quit his job as a control thing.  He’s not bringing in money, so she can’t spend and he controls his savings.  That and they are both good actors. 
 

Nikki looks like a Real Housewife.  She does seem like a sweet person though, with her boy wonder, Andre-light.

agreed- but Jasmine spends $10k of THEIR money without consulting him? This marriage certainly is well-rooted in trust and transparency (sarcasm). Failing thus far to understand what the draw of this guy was, though. He looks bored to tears and not terribly interested in American culture, food, or what's-her-name's dog/profession ("I'm witchy!")/apartment.

Sophie’s hair isn’t human hair. It’s artificial hair woven in aka a weave. Weaves and wigs can be so fun, but usually women that are into their hair/makeup/social media influencing purchase human hair if they can afford it. Since Sophie is supposed to be of means I was surprised by her choice, both style and color doesn’t flatter her IMO.

It's clearly an illegal conversion, maybe of a casita or garage. There is no way that a living unit without an attached bathroom is legal in LA County.

I could see that. I am not super familiar with accessory dwelling units in CA, however it could be that it's a converted garage space (or several) with a shared bathroom attached to the main dwelling or garage. I can see a single Rob being 100% comfortable with that situation (especially if the landlord is friend or family member) but I dont blame Sophie for not liking it. 

I know in many rural areas individuals would let extended family park trailers and motor homes on their property and use the main bathroom/kitchen facilities as needed for a small rental fee. People have some privacy but a safe place to live for very little many.
