I hope something got lost in translation in her interview, because I 100% agree that they're actors and to have that sort of genuine reaction to that is very unprofessional. Unless Patrick is super method, and he really got into his character and looked at the actor playing Locky as his real brother, he should find another occupation because that kiss wasn't something that should cause a professional to have that reaction. When he auditioned for/accepted this role, did no one brief him on his character's storyline? This is a short, limited series, it's not like they are 6 seasons in and come up with an incest story out of nowhere to boost ratings. This had to be planned all along; it was hinted at in episode one. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/120334-the-white-lotus-in-the-media/page/5/#findComment-8610812

Snazzy Daisy April 3 Share April 3 Dammit! 😣 The White Lotus Composer Reveals He Won’t Return for Season 4 After Clashes With Mike White Quote Composer Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, who has provided the score and theme song for all three White Lotus seasons thus far, shared in a New York Times interview that he won’t be back for Season 4. Tapia de Veer chalked up his exit to creative differences with series creator Mike White, which he said dated back to the HBO satire’s first season in 2021. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/120334-the-white-lotus-in-the-media/page/5/#findComment-8625306

JenE4 April 5 Share April 5 Okay, even Mike White himself admits “nothing” is happening all season and the random dramatic music is the only thing leading viewers to believe something might happen. And apparently he cut all of the interesting and wild scenes in the interest of time rather than cutting the same boring stuff we see the characters do/say every episode?! Guys, it’s boring on purpose, apparently. Quote “People are already like, ‘It’s too slow! Let’s go, let’s go! Nothing’s happening!’. But nothing happened in the first season. Literally. It was basically people sitting around eating meals, but the music gave this tension, and you knew something bad was going to happen.” This White Lotus Deleted Scene Could Have Been The Most 'Insane' Of The Whole Season Believe it or not, we actually ended up with the tame version of the current season. peeayebee April 5 Share April 5 I really enjoyed the interview from The Hollywood Reporter that was linked to in that article. I love reading behind-the-scenes stuff. I learned that Lalisa "Lida" Manobal (Mook) is a huge celebrity in Thailand. Mike White refers to her as Taylor Swift crossed with Princess Di. From Mike White: Quote And the incest thing, it's really more about someone who is trying to connect with his brother and his sister through the things they value. Saxon is all about getting off, and Piper is renouncing the materialistic. I love this explanation. It makes complete sense. Patrick Schwarzenegger, re the Chloe actress saying he gagged after the kissing scene: Quote The thing is, that reaction? It's Saxon. So he DID gag, but he did it in character. Harvey April 7 Share April 7 Mike White on the official podcast about what can we expect from season 4: "Season 3 is a parable, it is melodramatic and that gets people excited but he wants to do something more like season 1, where it satirizes stuff he knows about art, criticism, movies, fame and celebrity, a film festival type of thing or an art world situation. Something less heavy that still has some juice to it." Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/120334-the-white-lotus-in-the-media/page/5/#findComment-8628521

No, that happened the prior morning, before Tim went out and gathered all the fruit, blended the seeds, etc. Lochlan made his power smoothie the morning after they had/didn't have the pina coladas.
