Just popping in for a well-needed mental health break. Missed the first half.

Four random fans of the show? Oh, I guess they work for various magazines. But, still... why? Are they gonna be on the whole 3 hours? Because.... it's gonna be a real struggle to pay attention. Kevin Frazier did a nice job as usual.

This overly long clip show will test the patience of the hardest of the Hard core MAFS fans.

 I was in and out of the 3 hour snooze fest for awhile until I had too much of Max’s naked ankles and calves but the kicker was JamieO and Doug being heralded in the studio like they had something brand new to sell...more concealer on Doug’s moles please...

3 hours?  Really?  Thank goodness I was able to fast-forward Jamie and Doug...

And they must have bought out anyone who just happened to be walking past the studio.  Past couples, astrologists, who did they leave out?

I still think most of these matches are going to be disasters.

Having said all of that, I really like Kevin Frasier as host.

When they all started up with the "poor Olivia" crap, I quit watching and went to bed. Sheez. Give it a rest, Kevin. 

Finished watching the rest of it this morning, because I didn't want to watch the news, and it was okay, but they are really working hard on selling Couples Cam and this season. I was surprised at how many of the couples they predicted would work out.  I don't think any of them will. Ha!

I just turned it on for a minute and saw random people making a big deal about Jamie and Elizabeth, so off it went. So glad I missed Jamie O. I have never watched Couples Cam for more than 5 minutes since I am not really interested in the couples they have on there other than Keith/Kristina and maybe Greg/Deonna, but not enough to watch. Again, anything with Jamie O is an automatic turn off for me.

What the hell.  Two weeks of nothing but repeating from strangers no less.  Who were these people?  Now, another week until the weddings.  Boy, are they milking this.  I only hope they dumped Unfiltered with Mrs. Otis.  Enough of them already.

Not a whole lot of new information. It's confirmed that Chris is a douche, and Virginia loves to party. I skipped over Jamie and Elizabeth, and JamieO and Doug. Ashley looks really good and Anthony seems very happy being a dad; Keith and Kristine are cute together and seem happy; Shawniece and Jephte were a bit awkward; Miles and Karen seem happy and comfortable with each other; Woody and Amani are still couples goals; Danielle was looking a bit rough I thought; Greg and Deonna looked happy and lovey-dovey, Jessica and Austin also looked great, although I almost feel this weird sister-brother vibe with them (sorry!), and Steph and AJ looked very happy and in sync. Wish we had gotten an update about Bennett and Amelia. I wonder where they're going to honeymoon this season. Last season's resort was gorgeous, I hope they get a nice place this time as well. I'm ready to get this show on the road.

Thanks for the summary.  I was interested in the updates on the couples, but couldn’t stomach the other content.  Don’t care what those four D listers think about anything.

I actually feel bad for JamieO, it looks like she’s having a hard time losing her pregnancy weight. Having personal experience with that, I know how hard it can be for some of us. Just wondering - has she always had the cankles? Could be something else going on if she didn’t have them before, retaining fluids for some reason.

other than that it’s the usual collection of mostly doomed couples, I just hope when we’re finally able to observe the couples together there’s something interesting to see. Why in hell does TLC think all this fluff and filler crap is going to captivate the audience to entice us to keep watching? At this point I’m worried my FF button is going to wear out

Don't feel bad for her - she is milking it and has turned her new body into an Instagram side show about "loving herself at any size" and her "frans" are eating it up. Personally, I would love to be able to follow her without having to see another picture of her in her underwear talking about body positivity and how after she had Henley she never would have taken these pictures, worn this bathing suit, blah, blah, blah......I cannot scroll through IG without seeing her half naked talking about this and I'm about to unfollow her. I am not trying to body shame her, but enough is enough. I don't care what size you are - put on some damn clothes!!!!

Knowing how production likes to yank our chains I will over react to the Grandpappy Jacob and Haley’s Comet clip of them retiring to separate bedrooms.

Thinking...one of them got trace contacted that they were exposed to a positive Covid...self quarantining in action

The slowed post office delivery has delayed Jacob’s shipment of Viagra...no sense making stew if you can’t stir the pot if you get my drift

If you have seen the movie like Water for Chocolate...the gagging fumes of what you eat... from a Steak and eggs only diet...Jacob is Rosaura.
Hail Hail is asphyxiated by his lack of veggies and fiber in his diet  and she is Pedro.

 I wonder if there will be any Haley attraction to Jacob with his grizzled grey scruff look...someone needs to tell him clean shaven will be a more youthful look for that critical first impression at the alter.

But he doesn’t seem the type to take to criticism....

I don't have a problem with the people on the panel. I don't know why they have to "be somebody". It's a panel of fans and writers talking about the show and the couple's. Don't know who they need to be. I also appreciate people coming in and flatly calling out bad matches and decisions by the experts. In some ways they were stand ins for the audience instead of yes people saying what they are told to say.

I need to find a dating site for people who don't like or want pets. It's so hard to find these days. This show always reminds me of that fact.
