Took it really easy yesterday. 4,058 steps total. Knee felt good all day, no pain. So far today, no pain yet...

Decided to postpone dr appointment for today. Knee is doing so well, I don't want to push it too much.

Are you still tired all the time?

Not really, energy level seems to be more normal. I am basically trying to keep my knee from hurting all the time so just not pushing the step count too much.

Only 3,880 steps yesterday. Fell asleep for several hours in recliner in the evening...

I cant take credit for this thought, I read it somewhere...but it goes something like, "when you hit a wall, lean on it".  Your body may be telling you to slow down for now.😘

Yeah, I am trying to go with the flow. My knee is better, but my cataracts are getting worse and I am still stressing about the surgeries. If it isn't one thing, it's another!!

When is your surgery?

Left eye which is worse, April 5. Right eye for now April 19, but depending on how left heals, may put it out a bit.

I am terrified about the surgery! I don't like anything being done near my eyes... so stressful times right now.

When I took my mother in the first thing they did was give her an Ativan.  The second thing they did was put numbing drops in her eye.  I expect you'll do fine.  They let me sit with mom until the doctor was ready and she was absolutely calm.  The joys of Ativan.  She was a little loopy as we left.

Thanks for that @Absolom! I hope that is how it goes for me. I am really freaked about this whole thing... I don't have family local, a neighbor is taking me in for the surgery. I can take loopy any day!! LOL

Gramto6, you shouldn't feel any pain, but one thing to do is ask the Drs to talk you through what they are doing.  When some equipment is brought right down to your eye it can make everything go dark temporarily, which is not scary if you know what is happening.

4,636 steps yesterday. A bit better, not where I want to be, but I'm not going to push it at this point.

Thanks everyone for the input on the surgery. It is helping me feel better, still scared but better.

A surprising 6,184 steps yesterday. I don't look at my count during the day as I don't want to put pressure on myself to hit a certain number so this # surprised me!  Knee is feeling pretty good these days. Still will be going easy on it though.

4,772 steps yesterday.

Beautician cut off 10" of my Covid hair yesterday. Boy does it feel better now!!

Wow!  I'm going to have that done as soon as my grown-out (grey) hair is long enough, so when/if I have it colored again, it'll be on virgin hair.  I'm not sure what shade of blonde I'll go with yet...probably a light strawberry blonde.

My hair hasn't been this long since my mid-20's.
