I cant take credit for this thought, I read it somewhere...but it goes something like, "when you hit a wall, lean on it". Your body may be telling you to slow down for now.😘 7 Link to comment

Right eye for now April 19, but depending on how left heals, may put it out a bit. I am terrified about the surgery! I don't like anything being done near my eyes... so stressful times right now. Absolom March 13, 2022 Share March 13, 2022 When I took my mother in the first thing they did was give her an Ativan. The second thing they did was put numbing drops in her eye. I expect you'll do fine. They let me sit with mom until the doctor was ready and she was absolutely calm. The joys of Ativan. She was a little loopy as we left. 9 Link to comment

I don't have family local, a neighbor is taking me in for the surgery. I can take loopy any day!! LOL 8 Link to comment
deirdra March 14, 2022 Share March 14, 2022 Gramto6, you shouldn't feel any pain, but one thing to do is ask the Drs to talk you through what they are doing. When some equipment is brought right down to your eye it can make everything go dark temporarily, which is not scary if you know what is happening. 6 Link to comment
lookeyloo March 14, 2022 Share March 14, 2022 My cataract surgery was painless and quick. IV drip for some sedation. Eye numbed and dilated. Felt nothing at all. Couldn’t really see anything because of the dilation. Highly successful 9 Link to comment

I don't look at my count during the day as I don't want to put pressure on myself to hit a certain number so this # surprised me! Knee is feeling pretty good these days. I'm going to have that done as soon as my grown-out (grey) hair is long enough, so when/if I have it colored again, it'll be on virgin hair. I'm not sure what shade of blonde I'll go with yet...probably a light strawberry blonde. My hair hasn't been this long since my mid-20's. 6 Link to comment
Gramto6 April 3, 2022 Share April 3, 2022 5,805 steps yesterday. Yeah @xwordfanatik my hair hadn't been that long since my 20's either. I just had to get it done before my surgeries, too much to deal with the long hair. 4 Link to comment
