How is everyone so stupid about why Sharon and Manic Phyllis🕷️were put together?  It was an experiment to see if two lifelong enemies could work together come to an understanding that they could actually become more friendly or less hostile to each other.

Couldn't be too far away from GC because the commute for staff, visitors and suppliers might have been prohibitive.  I'm just wondering why a large building has been left vacant and hasn't been snapped up by someone who needs office space. Like a computer-based business or a bitcoin exchange.  I also amend my classification of the farmhouse as 'abandoned'.  If it is being rented, perhaps it is not a working farm, just an architectural reference to the style of the house and has no valuable acreage with it.

My favorite bit is how Sharon keeps using Nick as back up to what happened during the hypnosis session.  She's always saying, "Nick was there, he can verify what I'm saying", as if Nick doesn't zone out as soon as there aren't any hotdogs to eat or toe jam to harvest, ala Homer Simpson and a beer.  

Depending on Nick for factual backup is like depending on Victor for emotional insight and honesty - or Billy, for nasal decongestion that actually works.

Ain't that the truth?  Yet another of Josh Griffith's synthetic storylines ends with the thud of unmet expectations.  Although to honest, I've pretty much given up on this guy ever giving us a storyline that actually intrigues and just doesn't bludgeon us with constant bloviating into mental numbness.

He's caught a really bad case of Michelle Stafford's disease of saying everything at least twice. 

The only authentic emotion this storyline did for me was to make me mad that, once again, Traci can't get a decent story arc and is back to being reduced to everyone's cheerleader.

Next up, the mystery of Aristotle Dumbass.  How much you want to bet it turns out to be

Yeah, I'm really annoyed with Ashley.  If I recognized this guy as Martin 6 months ago, why the fuck didn't she?  If Traci is in pain now, it's your fault, Ashley!  And a couple of sisterly hugs doesn't cut it!  You know, Traci was really there for her & her 800 personalities.  But does she reciprocate?  Nooooo, Ashley is way too above it all to do that.  Blech, she stinks.

Until there was an actual mention of Cole, I'd totally forgotten him.  He ain't exactly memorable.  Apparently, for whatever reason, Bell dragged poor J. Eddie outta mothballs -- and maybe he's banished him back to those mothballs?

I see from the previews, Vicks is unleashing the Newman Sharon-hate?  Is she opening the flood-gates for Vic & Nikki to pile on?  Just luv it when the snooty ex-stripper/alcoholic looks down her nose on Sharon.  Hopefully next week Sharon will change outta the clown pants.  Sharon, you don't need to give these assholes yet another reason to pick on you, dear.

I'm just going quote what I said the last time it was suggested that people in GC act like Audra smells bad:

On a slightly tangential note, I noticed over on Beyond the Gates, they have a Latino/Hispanic male character who uses a lot of Spanish in his dialogue. Real Spanish, not "Spanglish." And on my TV at least, the CC is not being translated into English. They seem to be relying on contextual cues.

Did he though? Seems to me Sharon and Phyllis have agreed to stop actively hating each other but I wouldn't call them friends. I think there's  plenty of room between liking someone and simply not trying to hurt them or let them die.

I don't think Martin cares whether Phyllis and Sharon are friends. IMO it was an ego thing for him to prove he was capable of changing their behavior toward each other under dire circumstances. Alan would have known it was unethical to use his professional training as a shortcut to manipulating people without their foreknowledge or prior approval. That's one of the reasons Alan was held in esteem while Martin was just the bad seed evil twin.
