Holey moley, what did Lily eat for breakfast, a bowl of nails? She better step off Audra's @$$ before Audra pulls her hands out of her goofy sleeves and introduces her claws to Lily's face

I DEFINATLY would stay awake for that.

help me out, Please.  Why dose My Lady of the Lacquered Hair hate Audra?

I think the main reason is that Audra came to work for them at Chancellor/Winters when they were going to take the company public, but she was secretly a plant to help Tucker acquire control of the company.  I think that's why Lily is always questioning her honesty.  Lily also says she doesn't want to see Nate get hurt but I don't think Nate getting hurt would cause her to lose an eyelash.

I've always liked Lily more than disliked her but she's been nothing but a real pill for a while now.

Lola is in a new movie coming out, On Swift Horses.  Better than being stuck in a kitchen, hmm?

Good for Sasha Calle. Maybe this will finally be her breakthrough role. Her Supergirl bit in The Flash movie definitely didn't work out. It almost seemed like an afterthought.

(Meanwhile, SC'S alleged nemesis, Hunter King, has mostly been relegated to minor roles and Hallmark movies. HK will soon appear on The Neighborhood as a pilot for her own spinoff show. Guess CBS still owes her money. 😏)

Oh my God, I just about fell out of my chair with disbelief at the absolute hypocrisy of Victor screaming at Michael that he was trying to control Victor. DUDE!!! That is directly from your own playbook. Don't yell at the students if they follow the teachings of the master. Ugh, that whole scene was disturbing.

Michael, please get to the coffee house asap and maybe Dr Sharon can help deprogram you from your need to please/work for Victor. It's abusive.

Hmmm, were there major sparks btw Lils & Holden?  But then again, Holden could spark with a mop, so who knows?

So is Mikey gonna turn on Vic?  He clearly knew nothing of the hooker deal Vic struck with Audra.

Now, if Pomp & Claire were an interesting couple (and not the unhot bores they are) they woulda had sex on the pink sofa, and stained it up so badly it would piss off Diane so much, we’d finally see snakey, ferocious Diane come back to GC.  But we didn’t get any of that cuz Pomp & Claire are boring as shit.  Yawn.

Ehh, I knew Claire would be diplomatic in her reaction to the Abbott manse renovation.

Michael, plenty of people go to work when they're sick. Your Jabot spy Mathison may be a bad liar but you're also poor at interpreting his excuses.

Geez, why does Lily keep acting like she's entitled to know Audra and Holden's old history? Lily, Yoda would say it best: "So annoying you are."

Do bars ordinarily have empty martini glasses sitting out like they were today in the jazz lounge? Seems to me that'd be good way for them to collect airborne dust and germs.

AFAIC Kyle was being full-tilt manipulative. First he talked Claire into moving in with him but to a new place. Now he wants them to stay in the Abbott manse just because Diane did an amazing! (🙄) job on the remodel. FOH, you freeloading nepo baby.

Finally! Michael's patience appears to have run out with Victor's demands for total loyalty and automatic support of his vengeful plans. You go, Mikey. Tell that ungrateful lunatic about himself.

I think Billy and Jack were having a good brotherly talk about the state of their mutual lives. Phyllis is an iffy topic though, given her messy history with them both.

The level of energy EB put into that scene made me uncomfortable. Anyhoo, Victor can't keep sitting in his chair yelling at people without some eventual health effects, no? He might be overdue for a stroke or another heart attack.

While Lily was standing at the bar berating Holden, her purse was still back on couch where she'd been sitting with Audra. Oy. IMO an untended bag = an opportunity for snatching.

Claire, giiirrrrl, you've gotten kinda nasty. 😏 Kyle's new old home doesn't need your special "christening." Especially when you have Summer and Grandpa Vic on your mind.

I loved how Holden was utterly unbothered by Lily's aggressiveness. Lily was two counts down this evening after Audra and Holden pretty much tag-teamed her, lol.

I dunno, I'm thinking Holden would rather cozy up to a mop than the shrieking harpy Lily's been behaving like lately. He's too hot to put up with difficult women.

Did you see the look Claire/Eve gave Kyle when he said can you see us living here.  I’m surprised that Kyle didn’t turn to stone.  Stick to your guns Clair/Eve, moving into the Abbott Manor even temporarily is a bad idea.  A man in his late 20’s or early 30’s who still wants to live with his parents is a little off and somewhat fearful of commitment.  Claire/Eve has to let Victor know they are moving in together before they do but wouldn’t it be a good idea for Kyle to let Summer❄️X6😾😾😾 know also?

Spontaneous sex would be a little hard to achieve. Even when that think nobody is home, Jack and Diane could show up at any moment. Even at night, loud moaning is out of the question.  🥁Tara! Tara! Tara!🥁 is now needed even more not only to punish Summer❄️x6😾😾😾 but to keep Claire/Eve from eventually getting a broken heart.

Lily as a lot of woman are very intuitive when it comes to relationships between men and women.  Lily picked up on the unspoken words and glances between Audra and Holden.  It’s easier to read blue eyes because of color changes. Brown eye color changes are harder to detect but there are pupil changes that can be read. Body language is the easiest overall to detect.

I don't think Neil would be all that proud these days.  Or, maybe he would.  Neil could also be unbearably smug and judgmental at times, so perhaps Lily come by her unwillingness to recognize boundaries, or basic good manners honestly.

She should be careful, though.  Audra would beat her in a fight in 10 seconds flat.

As others have said, Victor's hissy fit at Michael was unpleasant to listen to.  Not long ago Michael rhapsodized about how Victor was the father he never had.  It's time for Michael to find a good psychiatrist - and I don't mean a talk with Sharon over a goat milk latte - as to how screwed up his ideas of a good father really are,  he thinks that's what Victor represents.

Has Jack asked his idiot brother where he leased office space for Abbott Communications?  Learned anything about other hires besides Phyllis and Daniel?  Has he done any due diligence with his brother ButtBisquick?

Kyle is such a dwerb and a dweeb and a chinless tool all rolled up like a soggy pierogi, asking Claire, in front of Jack, to move into the Abbott Mansion.  It's sad enough that he still lives there, at his age.  But asking his latest girlfriend to move in as well is just icky and weird.

I'm trying to figure out when Audra was supposed to e hot and heavy with Holden in LA? Was it at the same time she was dating Noah in London? Was she also with Tucker on the commune? Is that where they met? They keep changing her back story.

Claire you looked very uneasy with the moving into the Abbott Manse talk. Please run. Run fast and far into the arms of Holden. He's dreamy and does not live with his parents. You also had waaaay more chemistry over drinks than you've ever had with Pomp ever.

Don't get me started.  I've already bitched about the fruit garnishes that are left out on the bar where any and everyone can cough/sneeze/talk/breathe on to them.  Oh, and Ashley can help herself when she's feeling a bit peckish.  It's totally unsanitary and not standard practice.

Viktor is showing some clear signs of dementia and delusion again.  I don't think it's a fake out to test his family's loyalty like last time.  Too bad Nate didn't win on the "here's a nice facility I found for you" challenge.  They probably would have kept the old reprobate.

Daniel's faded print shirt on top of the bright tats. Yikes. I doubt meth head chic is what the Y&R wardrobe person was going for but: achievement unlocked!

Nice product placement for Apple and/or Samsung with those earpods Sally and Audra were wearing.

The guitar as a metaphor for life. Seriously, Tessa? This laid back cool chick thing she's doing now with Daniel is silly to me.

Of course not. Jack's investment in Billy's fantasy is his way of keeping Billy out of his hair. He doesn't want to know how Billy will fail until after the failure happens. 😒

I think the general consensus among viewers is that it is high time that Victor lost. Something, anything. It may be true about Eric B's contract. But really, CBS? You are going to bow to that for decades? It is one of the things (just one) that is ruining this grand old soap. Killing it, actually.

Eric B can barely speak his lines and is not all that mobile. No shade - he is an older senior citizen and has health issues. It would make for better viewing/storylines if the writers (and EB) acknowledged that and show a little of what Victor could be experiencing. Just a little bit. Have Adam (too bad that now he is a neutered sad sack) or Nick (but I don't think the actor is capable) slowly taking over the reins. And Victoria. That might invigorate this soap.

Wow, Billy stood his ground with Phyllis and straight up fired her from her non-existent job at his non-existent company. He must've eaten his Wheaties this morning. Iron-fortified.

Daniel dashed out of Crimson Lights and left his jacket behind. Heh, obvious  plot device was obvious.

I can't believe Audra convinced Sally to leave the work she's good at in the fashion business to serve as Billy's babysitter at Abbott Communications. Sigh, Sally, you need to get yourself a better bestie.

Phyllis' reaction to finding out Tessa has influence over Daniel wasn't what I expected. That big hug she gave Tessa was full of desperate relief instead of jealous resentment.

Or, maybe Phyllis was just trying to save face until she could go somewhere else and have her panic attack in private. Gosh. Panic attacks are no joke.

The writers have certainly invested a lot of time leading the audience to see them as the advance team for Aristotle Dumas. So far Victor doesn't act like he's particularly scared. I just wish Dumas would show up already. Enough with the build up!

Daniel and Tessa seem to be quite random. I don’t remember they have much to do with each other in the past.

Sally has a fantastic body which Billy👃 doesn’t deserve.  I’m a little surprised that Audra is all buttoned up. Her best “asset” is covered although Natey Nate Nate would only kick her out of bed is to do it on the floor.

Audra keeps saying she is with Natey Nate Nate but isn’t part of her deal with Victor to seduce Kyle?  How does Audra reconcile this.

Poor poor Manic Phyllis🐍. She almost made me feel sorry for her (not).  Manic Phyllis🐍 is her worst enemy.

Why does Audra sound like Chloe in giving Sally very bad advice. Does misery love company?  Sally’s passion if fashion and Summer❄️X6😾😾😾 basically has given Sally autonomy in her creations.  Don’t do it Sally!  Working with Billy👃 would be the mistake of a lifetime.  Even being with Billy👃 is a big mistake.

So let's see, what would Sally be giving up, to work with Billy the loser & his business that has a name, but nothing else?  Looks like Chelsea will work with Adam, which leaves her to be replaced by Sally & since Summer never does any work, Sally would be leading that company -- an established business in fashion, which she said she loves.  Oh Sally, why not let Billy crash & burn yet another op with crazy Phyllis?

Uh, Audra, ya look great in your jogging togs but shaddup with your crappy advice to Sally, hun!

Billy surprised me.  He was tough & firm, yet considerate & kind with both Daniel & Phyllis.  Another surprise was The Red Beast's treatment of Tessa.  I thought she was gonna haul out & smack her.  Instead, she hugs her.  Er, huh?  Has The Red Beast lost her mojo?  Heading toward the looney bin, is she?  Will she develop 800 personalities?  Please, no, Show!

Actually, Phyllis is a way better fit to be with Billy & his non-business with only a name.  But I guess we're heading to a competition btw Adam & Chelsea and Billy & Sally?  Meh.

Yeah because when push comes to shove, Phyllis can always use her mad hacker skills to fix a non-technical problem. She could load up Newman Media's subscriber list with untraceable bots or something else shady.

Meanwhile, I don't see Sally doing much other than flaunting her tight body. We know how Victor feels about BillyBoyAbbott but does he have any issues with Sally? She's aware that being Victor's target is a bad idea and she might end up catching strays. Whatever Billy's doing to or for Sally can't be worth the risk.

I don't care about Chelsea and Adam at all and I'm rooting for Sally and/or Phyllis and Billy to stomp them into the ground.

I wondered why she was so relieved.  Did she think that her nemesis/now bff Sharon was going to save him?  Was she worried that he may have found a new foreverlove (god forbid, since he hasn't mourned Heather enough)?  Who did she think was helping him?

Not a Spoiler:   So, any predictions on what's bothering Mariah?  Her demeanor and half-hearted assurances that nothing is wrong worry me.  Mayhaps she thinks she caught a glimpse of Ian Ward on her travels?  Or he's pretending to contact her from the Great Beyond? (I haven't been fully convinced he's dead since he opened his eyes in the ambulance.)  And please, Show, don't give out anymore terminal illnesses-you might have to have a real hospital set and you know that costs money.  Dr. Nate can't cure everyone with his contacts in the medical field.

Spoiler

Speculations elsewhere in soap forum world say

  • Mariah unintentionally cheats on Tessa while she's away on business. She'll confess to Tessa because of her guilty conscience, and that'll give Tessa an excuse to get with Daniel.

OR

  • Mariah starts spending so much time away from home because of her job that Tessa feels neglected and turns to Daniel.

Whatever happens, I hope it doesn't get dragged out until everyone's sick of hearing about it. Looking at you, Aristotle Dumas.

Sally had to be stinky and sweaty after her jog. Ew on her sitting at GCAC bar in such a state.

TMW your boyfriend tells you exactly what you wanted to hear. Sally covered her glee well when Billy said he'd fired Phyllis from her pretend job at his pretend company.

Claire confided to Nikki that the Abbott manse remodel was very "sophisticated." Oh Claire, you sweet summer child. I do not think that word means what you think it means.

Lol, Billy throwing all the shade at Sally's bestie Audra. At least Sally knew to take it in good humor. Mostly.

Hey, it's Connor. Eating chocolate sugar bricks certainly hasn't stunted his growth.

Victoria, sounds like Cole's cough needs way more than some vitamin C. Just sayin'.

Chelsea and Adam sucking face in the middle of the coffeehouse. <shudder> Why do you hate the viewers like this, Show?

I hope Cole's not going take his final nap right there on Vikki's couch. Yeesh, people stay dying on Newman ranch couches.

Gee, Chelsea, dontcha hate it when your messiness come back to bite you? Sally doesn't need you to do her any favors wrt Marchetti. She has other options too, hon.

Manic Phyllis🐍 is not an asset she’s an ass- set.  Don’t do it Sally. You will regret working with Billy👃

When I first saw Claire/ Eve I thought her dress looked more Japanese than American. Even her hair style has a hint of a Japanese girl.

Poor Cole.  He will end up in the hospital with some unknown virus and Natey Nate Nate will find a specialist to cure him.

I hope Chelsea will talk to Sally sooner than later talking her into taking the creative directors job for both Marchetti divisions so she will stay away from Abbott Communications

Ah, poor, poor J. Eddie!  Apparently, Bell dragged him outta oblivion & obscurity cuz he’d been doing almost zilch for the last 15 years or so.  And now, when the character seems to be happy & doing well, Show is gonna bump him off?  Really?

He’s looking so much better, with a fresh shave & a good dye job (finally getting rid of the unappealing homeless man stubble he always had before).  Cruel stuff, Bell, to throw him right back into that large pool of unemployed Hollywood actors.

And what worse fate is there for Cole, than to be cared for by Vicks?  She offered him an aspirin & a vitamin C & that tiny uncomfortable-looking sofa?  Not even a bed?  Oh yeah, being cared for by Vicks means he’ll be dead by the end of the week.  Thanks a lot for caring, Vicks!  You really stink, hun!

Welp, we can depend on Sally to make ALL the wrong choices for herself.  Certainly the worst men & now the wrong career choice.  Guess there’s gonna be lots of pouty faces from Dumber cuz she’s gonna be stuck working with Chloe — and we haven’t yet gotten her reaction about Pomp & Claire moving in together.  Such fun, right?  Meh, not so much.

Painful as it is for me to say it, Billy and Sally have great chemistry.  Or, rather, JT and CH do.  Or both.  Whichever, today especially, they were fun to watch.  I haven't enjoyed JT this much since I saw him on General Hospital years ago.  Not all their scenes have the same impact, but today, the two of them, their banter, their sheer enjoyment of each other's presence, was fun to watch.

Credit where credit is due.

Looks like Cole might be heading to the giant brussels sprouts in the sky.  If that happens, Victoria will have had more husbands carried out in body bags than Lucretia Borgia.

Nice to see Lauren today.  She was pretty nice to Chelsea, all things considered.  Hopefully that niceness will have faded if and when she runs into Victor.

I love these fresh, modern storylines, like two women leaving their dream jobs so they can work with their boyfriends. I also appreciate the self-awareness that every character is imbued with, like Billy the coccyx croissant. Shading Audra for being sneaky when you’re friends with a thirsty psycho is certainly a choice.

Can we also talk about the stark realism of a teenage boy commenting on his parents’ romantical quirks and foibles like he’d actually give a shit?

You know, I just do not want to watch Cole die of consumption or whatever. Sure, he’s not the pinnacle of excitement, but he’s inoffensive. It seems cruel to let the guy reconnect with his daughter after over two decades and then kill him off. Sure, that daughter turned out to be Claire, but I’m just not up for a tragic soap illness storyline. Unless Adam gets chronic, burning hemorrhoids. Then I’m totally down.

2. Oh look, Lauren fell into the same Lady Clairol bleach vat that Tessa fell into. And Manjaw fell into an ink vat. None of them looks better in their new hair colors.

3. Cleve's been playing in Mommy's make up bag again.
