Joimiaroxeu April 21 Share April 21 Nikki's jacket: fashion don't. Why would anyone treat pinstripes so poorly?😱 Oy, it's hyper Phyllis bouncing off the sky. You in danger, GC. (Maybe those thumbhole sleeves were affecting Phyllis' circulation.) Yeah, Daniel sure wasn't trying to get on board with Billy's Abbott Communications pipedreams. And Billy seemed to be taking it personally. 11 hours ago, NinjaPenguins said: Imagine a soap with plots that moved at a pace faster than geological time. Joimiaroxeu April 21 Share April 21 (edited) Grandma Nikki should tell Claire about the time young Victoria was shacking up with one guy while she was pregnant by another. Victoria even got engaged. Quel scandale! Not a fan of Sally's outfit today, especially with the bright red lipstick and the huge bow on the back of her head. She looked to me like she was trying out a sexy schoolgirl costume for Halloween. Nah, Claire, Victor didn't come around to supporting Cole's relationship with your mommy. He was forced to by straight up blackmail and Victoria still has no clue. 4 hours ago, ScoobieDoobs said: Btw, thanks, Show, for the glimpse of Daniel’s nauseous-making tats. Blech. Billy's aren't great either, IMO. It's interesting to me how so many of the Y&R actors are showing their tats now. Pretty much everyone used to cover them up while they were in character. And on a horrific tat scale, I generally measure them by one which is a plot point in the 1991 thriller film, "The Rapture." (Which I don't recommend watching if you're seriously religious.) Joimiaroxeu April 21 Share April 21 That's right, Sally, you stay away from "Abbott Communications." Let Billy sink without taking you down with him. Meanwhile, Billy told Sally he's handling Aristotle Dumas. Huh? We've been given the impression that any handling is done by Dumas. Claire announced she has made a decision! Ooh, I'm on pins and needles over here. Hopefully she'll reveal what the decision is sometime this month. 🙄 50 minutes ago, One Tough Cookie said: Was it just me or did Filthis look like a cobra in that awful outfit? Waldo13 April 22 Share April 22 Billy👃, for a man that constantly plays pocket pool, why does he need Sally. Manic Phyllis 🐍 is wearing her snake skin on the outside today. One of my pet peeves is when a question is asked of someone and someone else answers the question. Manic Phyllis🐍 was doing a lot of that for Daniel. Excellent question Sally. Why wouldn’t Billy👃have a Plan B when he’s dealing with Manic Phyllis🐍? Is Victoria using Victor as an excuse for not wanting her “little girl” to move in with Kyle before they are even engaged 🤔. I’m so glad Sally turned Billy👃down about working with him. It would have been a big mistake second to having a “relationship” with him. Yes, Billy👃takes her breath away but only when he inhales. It seems that monkeys with a keyboard trying to chemistry test Daniel and Tessa? Why? Are they trying to break up the most dynamic relationship, of Mariah and Tessa, in GC? 4 2 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8642199
ScoobieDoobs April 22 Share April 22 The writers either don't know how to write ANY kind of storyline for Mariah & Tessa -- or they're too uncomfortable to write ANY kind of storyline for them, let alone an interesting one. Ah, I know, silly me, expecting these shit writers to actually come up with an interesting storyline! It's really too bad cuz both the characters and the actresses have great potential to be quite good with the right scripts. But I guess there's nobody else for Daniel to hook up with? Very disappointing if Show does break up Mariah & Tessa, but they've been turned into such a dull couple. 6 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8642249

boes April 22 Share April 22 Where's a tranquilizer gun when you need it? The GCAC dining room really needs to start stocking one for when Phyllis stops by. That performance she put on, sitting with Billy and Daniel was epic. She was spinning like she was Rumplestilskin. Come to think of it, that dress she was wearing made it look like she'd skinned Rumplestilskin and draped herself in it. Michael Graziadei is a good actor and I think, if you just look at his performance today, he showed that. As ridiculous as the actual storyline is, he more than held his own against the silliness of the story and against MS's especially annoying over-acting today. It must be exhausting sharing scenes with her. Billy, as usual, in both his scenes at the GCAC and at Crimson Lights, did an excellent interpretation of what a fart would look and sound like it if took human form. Then we were treated to Girl Scout Claire trying to sell Kyle's cookies to Grandma and Mommy, while they all resaid, restated and responded to yet one more conversation about trying to stop Nosferatu from running Claire's life. Good luck with that. Other than a lot more chanting of "Abbott Communications", and Tessa's unfortunate apparent run-in with a bottle of bleach, I don't remember anything else that happened. I think my mind is starting to protect me these days by making me forget....... 8 4 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8642388

The past two days of her cycling through narcissistic mania while also decompensating publicly have been exhausting. Her liver must be indestructible. 1 6 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8643570
ScoobieDoobs Wednesday at 11:05 PM Share Wednesday at 11:05 PM Hmmm, why is it Audra can look at someone else’s situation (Sally’s) & easily, quickly & casually assess it so correctly? And yet, she makes such horrible choices for herself, while ignoring Sally’s good advice. Luved how Audra said Phyllis is “toxic” with the same sneer most GC’ers have when referring to The Red Beast. For anyone else, Phyllis’ looney rants & tirades & tantrums would be an immediate & obvious warning sign to stay far, far away. But not Billy. And no, Sally, it ain’t cuz he’s too nice. That’s not it at all. It’s that he’s too fucking lazy to look for good people to hire. What a loser. 5 1 3 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8643580

Audra--what the hell were you thinking with that dress. In the intro you look so stunning in that teal dress'; nock of the bright colors they don't flatter her, even that killer bod couldn't save it. And producers, please stop torturing her hair and let it stay wavy. She has great hair, show it! 1 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8643591
Waldo13 Thursday at 01:25 AM Share Thursday at 01:25 AM Amy is on her way to Boston to be cured. See you later Amy. Does that mean Damian and Natewill be going also? Hey Manic Phyllis🐍 AC is not a clinic for the down trodden or a rehab for the mentally unbalanced. Guitar lessons for Daniel is that a prelude to something more intimate? It better not be! 5 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8643901
boes Thursday at 01:55 AM Share Thursday at 01:55 AM I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm REALLY excited to see a storyline about Daniel learning to play the guitar AND yet one more opportunity to watch Michelle Stafford eat the scenery, say everything twice and expand her latest acting tic of cry-talking at a volume only dogs can usually hear. That, along with, apparently, a daily rehash of Phyllis and Billy's romantic past, along with the terminal schmoopyness of Claire and Kyle promises to make this a groundbreaking summer for Y & R. The only thing that could make it better would be if Victor was featured as the centerfold of Playboy magazine. We live in exciting times! 2 3 8 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8644005

Or perhaps something with hints of Palm Beach like Kylaire. Then again, Clomp is also good, it has hints of awkward clomping around whixh pretty much sums them two up WTAF Amy?!? You swan into town, glom onto Natey Nate Nate, move IN with him, take over his life and that of your estranged son, and finally, when you are back in Damien's good graces, they tell you that a clinic in Boston has a potential cure for your alleged cancer and you stand there BEMOANING THE BEJESUS out of the possibility of being cured OR at least prolonging your life. Again I say, WTAF?!? (Maybe those thumbhole sleeves were affecting Phyllis' circulation.) When touching her face with those thumbhole sleeves/palms, all I can think about is how many dirty doorknobs, toilets, hand shakes etc. have they come in contact with. What I don't understand is why every person he comes in contact with doesn't ask Holden why he is still in town. 3 3 1 1 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8644304
ScoobieDoobs Thursday at 06:57 AM Share Thursday at 06:57 AM And just what is Holden's job anyway? We thought he was Damian's assistant, but Damian doesn't seem to do any work, so what the heck does he need an assistant for? And he seems to have mostly forgotten about Holden, which clearly leaves Holden plenty of time to hang out at bars. Guess that's why he has time to flirt with Claire & hit up Audra for a job? OK, so I figured The Red Beast's fashion sense is only unto her. After all, nobody else in GC goes shoulder-less, & uses every op possible to showcase her boobs in the middle of a freezing winter in the Midwest, right? Oh yeah, there is Lauren, who does that too, but she's also the only one in GC who wears one-shoulder cave-lady get-ups in the middle of winter. But when I saw Audra wearing that extended handsie-sleeve dress, I was wondering WTF is going on here? Are extended handsie-sleeve dresses a thing now? Phyllis has been wearing this shit before, so I figured it was something only a lunatic maniac nutcase like her would wear. But now Audra too? What the what? Is this now a trend in GC? Or did the wardrobe peeps gets a buyout on this crap before TJ Maxx? 1 1 3 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8644310

(And then he plays it for his dad, and they do an acoustic version in the coffee shop... and Lauren and Traci get up from their tables, go over and join in. I don't know if the actress who played Danny's sister Gina is still on earth, but if she is...) And my two cents - I'm already thinking of the diabetic duo as Clump. 1 3 6 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8644346

He’s in town to show Claire that she doesn’t have to cling to the first high-haired smirking dipshit she comes across. She must learn that size actually does matter. I’m talking about chins, perverts. I have zero interest in Daniel learning to play guitar, though I’m curious to know what eatery will host the lessons. Come to think of it, I wonder which dining establishment’s table will serve as Abbott Communications headquarters? Phyllis can get a corner office by the dumpsters. 11 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/482/#findComment-8644389
ScoobieDoobs Thursday at 03:56 PM Share Thursday at 03:56 PM (edited) “High-haired smirking dipshit”? I can’t stop laughing over that one! Thanks, Ninja! Luv that Phyllis is talking corner offices. I feel like screaming at my screen. IT’S NOT A FUCKING BUSINESS, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU LOSERS SAY THE NAME!!!! So what is Show building up to with Daniel? He’s gonna start playing & leave everyone astonished at his great & awesome talent & compare him to Eric Clapton? Yeah, right. Or will he turn out to be as meh as his has been, barely talented father? Either way — big snooze & yawn to any of this shit.
