So awkward. Kyle has always read to me as a guy who isn't particularly generous in bed. In fact, the actor seems lowkey awkward in those scenes IMO. Sometimes I wonder if certain actors aren't accustomed to displaying that kind of affection toward the opposite sex, if my drift is caught. Or maybe some actors just don't like performing that way in front of a camera. <shrugs> 11 hours ago, ScoobieDoobs said: how did Jordie know about Sharon's prescription being tested? Yeah, it seems like some dialogue or maybe a whole scene was left out where it would've been indicated that Jordan was snooping in or near Sharon's house. As it is, this whole story arc with Jordan and Ian feels shoehorned in to me. Was anyone begging for the return of either of those characters? 2 1 5 Link to comment

Joimiaroxeu December 10 Share December 10 Dominic's poofy hair! Adorable. Everybody's baking cookies in Mrs. Martinez's kitchen lately. Today it was Ashley and Dominic; last week it was Kyle and one of his girlfriends. Hmm. Heh, if Audra says she feels good about Amy Lewis, I think Amy must be pulling a huge con. How did Ian know he'd find Mariah and Nick at Crimson Lights? Good grief, Sharon made more excuses for why Noah hasn't come home to be with her during her troubles. Hey Show, just kill Noah off. #notevenkidding That thing Abby gave Ashley looked like an oversized placemat to me but apparently it was of some cultural significance in Fiji. Okay. Phyllis stays being psycho. AFAIC her obsession with Sharon is textbook "game recognize game." And it's less than smart for her to keep threatening Sharon in public places where other people can hear her. Can PCP be traced to its source? Otherwise I don't see how anyone will connect it to Jordan. Not unless she drops a clue accidentally, say, a receipt with her name on it from Street Drugs R Us. Ashley's probably having nightmares because her subconscious knows Alan is Martin. 😉 Sharon wants to be hypnotized to recover the memories from when she blacked out during the car accident. Gee, what could possibly go wrong? Given what a scrambled mess her brain is right now, she might recall walking on the moon in 1969. 2 1 8 1 Link to comment

ScoobieDoobs December 11 Share December 11 So anyone think the writers had a "plan" as to how the Sharon-killing-Heather storyline would go? Cuz as I'm seeing Jordie & Ian arguing & blaming each other about their "grand plan" going wrong, I'm noticing the sloppiness of this storyline becoming more obvious. Jordie's & Ian's participation looks more & more like it was tacked on, way after they came up with the concept of Sharon-killing-Heather. It's all sooo awkward & makes absolutely no sense. And I suspect once we finally get the explanation of their involvement, it'll make even less sense. Big fail on this one, Show. Guess Show is putting the Ash-discovers-Dead-Martin storyline on the back-burner, so we can see more googly-eyed looks from Sharon & screaming hissy fits from Phyllis. Where does that leave Traci? Still gushing endlessly over Dead Martin? And what's Ash to do? Whine about nightmares & fuss over her new Mrs. Brady shag? Wow, so many GC'ers with no jobs & nothing to do -- Ash, Billy, Lils, Audra, Phyllis, Daniel . . . 4 3 1 2 Link to comment

Phyllis is quite obviously uninterested in his feelings; the grief Daniel feels is just Phyllis’s latest excuse for acting like an unhinged sack of wet kittens. NinjaPenguins December 12 Share December 12 You know what’s great? I am utterly charmed by how bereft of fucks Michael continues to be about Phyllis ending their friendship. Maybe he’s as exhausted as the rest of us by her traveling narcissistic roadshow and wing flappin’ jamboree. She’s really enjoying her impromptu public performances of Avenging Asshole Who Probably Couldn’t Pick Heather Out of a Lineup. Sharon gets the gold star of the day for suggesting Phyllis stay the fuck out of her coffee shop. Victor doesn’t get that being able to admit to mistakes is a real show of strength. He looks like a pathetic clown claiming Jack got lucky. I want to dunk my head in bleach every time he mumbles about debauchery. I’m starting to think he suspects Nikki and Jack had a night of drunken sex but doesn’t have the mummified grapes to ask. There is some compassion owed to Billy, regent of the rump rolls and prince of the posterior pastry. Imagine being passed over for a job for the likes of Kyle, a seething shit volcano of bitterness and chinless, formula-stealing dingleberry. Peppermint December 12 Share December 12 Unpopular opinion here, but I kinda enjoy Jordan and Ian's campy comic relief scenes. It's like like they know this is their last hurrah on a Soap and are having the time of their lives. Now that we know that Jordan has a knife and isn't afraid to wield it, it's just a matter of time til this pair of crazy seniors have an unhinged difference of opinion, Jordan stabs Ian, who then pulls out an antique derringer from his waistcoat and shoots her. They will perish arguing that the one who dies last, wins. As to what their grand plan is....I don't give a Flying Fig and doubt that the writers do either. They could've just taken Claire shopping instead of making their huge self-aggrandizing statement with the surprise trove of clothes and jewelry. Apparently Lily doesn't care much about her brother or cousin. She hadn't even told them she was back in GC from her trip, and she only lives a few feet from Nate. Ugh, AFAIC Victor is utterly vile. Almost everything he said to Claire about the Abbotts has or can be applied to Newmans. Fortunately Claire didn't seem fazed by his loyalty test. Kyle, let it go! Your parents conned YOU, not each other. Move forward, nepo boy, and stop trying to undermine your mommy with your daddy. Audra, making a special effort to win over the Winters family is not the way you want to go. Ask Elena how well that worked out for her. Kyle declared to Jack, "Nothing will ever happen to Claire." boes December 13 Share December 13 (edited) Now wasn't that special? Granny Goldbricks had some lowly department store drones bring over oodles and uggles of goodies so Claire can look her part when she starts climbing her way to the top at Chancellor by starting at the top. What an arduous climb it will be! There's the look Granny was going for! Impress those peasants. Victor is the most odious he's been in years. Everyone kowtows to him, at least those unlucky enough to have a blood relationship to him and all that fawning makes them look pretty pathetic. Claire, at least, stood her ground. She also looked about as eager to spend time alone with him as she would a sewer line break. I'm wondering if Claire is going to be the victim of whatever Jordan and Uncle Festus are planning? Are they going to do something that makes her choose between saving Nikki or some other Newman, or Kyle? Will she then end up the victim? Inquiring minds are barely interested. One other thing from today's show. Just a tacky, vulgar display by idiots with too much money and not enough class. Victor’s little talk with Claire about the evil, horrible Abbott family was not only blatant projection but struck me as a hamfisted attempt to add stakes to Claire’s and Kyle’s deadly dull relationship. MollyB December 13 Share December 13 (edited) Friday Rant: Viktor has exchanged a leather throne for his old wooden one in the New Old Raunch. All the better for him to dictate to his underlings family. There he sits, kiddoes, in the middle of the room delivering his proclamations. Why doesn't someone do a Workplace Clothing Intervention on Nick? During working hours he looks as if he's going out to chop wood and herd sheep. Of course, since we never see him in his own office, maybe he doesn't go to work at all. Didn't Claire have work clothes when she was working for Nikki before? She did graduate from business school, right? I'm sure there were courses about how to dress/comport oneself in an office environment. Guess hers are out of style. Goth Hooker is in. And on the subject of clothing, I am surprised that Lauren's boutique offerings did not include anything off the shoulder or in leopard print. What can I say about Phyllus that hasn't been said before. Her self-righteousness is grating, her attacks on Sharon are borderline hysteria and I don't like anything about this character. The only bright spot is, maybe, just maybe, her lies about who ran her off the road will probably turn the case in Sharon's favor. Boring and Natasha are getting on my last nerve. Explain the whole plot better, JG, (as in give us more background on why these two are together and what the hell they are trying to accomplish) or have them kill each other off. Claire's hair is starting to look like Victoria's. And she is snagging an Abbott, too. Following in Mom's footsteps? Stop with Viktor traipsing around town spitting venom at everyone. Viktor, you have a big, brand new/old mansion (note: Latin root mansionem, "a staying or a remaining,) so stay the fuck outta GC. I get the foreshadowing of Ashley with her nightmares. Let’s see, keeping Manic Phyllis🕷️ as a friend or defending Sharon. I’ll choose defending Sharon all day long. Devon’s story is what as know as “jumping the shark”. Kudos Audra for faking tears and getting sympathy from the Winters’ clan. What a phony. Ask me if I give 2 fucks about Audra’s and Natey Nate Nates’s difunctional families. Not one iota. What’s worse than watching Manic Phyllis🕷️ running around and “chewing” up GC, is watching Sally and Lily placating her; but I wouldn’t expect anything less from Billy👃. 6 1 Link to comment

Brady shag? Wow, so many GC'ers with no jobs & nothing to do -- Ash, Billy, Lils, Audra, Phyllis, Daniel . . . Hi everyone. Sorry to be away. I was annoyed with this page as it has so many advertisements it freezes a lot, but I decided to come back. Yes this storyline does seem sloppy. That Josh headwriter guy, who's last name I choose to forget because I don't like him said it was supposed to be a homage to Strangers on the Train, which I never seen but I understand it is where two criminals do each other's dirty work, so they can't get in trouble for their own crimes or the like. I guess Josh and co think these hijinks of Ian and Jordan are hilarious or entertaining. Somehow I think Jordan will end up killing Ian. As crazy as they both are, I think Jordan is worse if that's possible. I had enough crazy people on the scene for a while between real Cameron and hallucination Cameron, Jordan and Ian, I hope they spare us Dead Martin. On 12/10/2024 at 5:44 PM, Denize said: Ha ha. And you didn't even mention the very dark sunglasses - indoors! I'm surprised he could find his way to a seat without tripping over something. What was going on with Abby's hair? It looked like she soaked it with some of Nikki's Easy-On Spray Starch and stuck her head in the Liberty Bell to set the bell shape. I like the length, but not the shape and papier mâché stiffness. I'm guessing these two got their disguises in the dollar store. As we see how brilliant they are (not), they probably think these are amazing disguises. On 12/10/2024 at 5:52 PM, ScoobieDoobs said: This shtick, that Show seems to do all the time, makes me nuts. How can Jordie (and now Ian) clearly hear conversations from 15 feet (or more) away? Even in some mostly empty joint, with no background music, it's still mostly impossible to do. Oh yeah, I forgot, these 2 seniors have super-human powers. And that Nick & Mariah didn't notice the suspicious, creepy old dude, dressed all in black, wearing a dopey-looking fedora & dark sunglasses inside AND leaning over way too obviously to listen in on their convo? Sheesh, that was so DUMB! He looked like Boris Badenov. Are we supposed to be laughing at the silliness & stupidity of this? Sorry, Show, it's way more lame than funny. I had to mute Phyllis cuz I just can't take her crazy rants anymore. She really sounds like a lunatic around Sharon. Can't Sharon get a restraining order on her & have her arrested if she comes near her again? I can't take watching these repetitive, annoying rants. Get something to do with your life, Phyllis! Poor Audra has nothin' to do now except sit around, talking to Nate about his dull probs. She has to know Devon ain't EVER gonna hire her. Still puzzled what kind of a job she's gonna get when everyone in GC hates her guts. Had to giggle when she seemed puzzled why nobody in GC wants to hire her. Uh, maybe cuz ya back-stabbed everyone, hun? Ya think? What's with the shitty present Abby gave to Ash? Did she say "I'll treasure it"? Translation -- it'll go right in the trash after you leave. Only (somewhat) interesting thing about Ash now is her Mrs. Brady shag, cuz otherwise she's a total snooze. Yeah, Abby chopped her hair & it looks OK, but she's a snooze too, so who cares? Ok, I get with the evidence Phyllis had to this point, it looks like Sharon is really guilty and she had a right to be angry at Sharon. Even so, her rants were so excessive. But now when she has the flashes of memory about the dark truck that is not Sharon's and hasn't let Michael tell her that Sharon is on drugs, or maybe he did and I FF through it and she chose to ignore it. Hard to feel sorry for her after all that. She can never be wrong and hear anyone else out. And i'm sick of her hypocrite stuff. And Michael was right. After all the crap she pulled this past year, him and Lauren stuck by her side. So ungrateful. 7 2 1 Link to comment

Nick asked what was wrong, she said she wasn't sure. This was after Ian left. Maybe Mariah and Claire should exchange notes. I think they are kind of friends? Maybe they can figure out who the real culprits are. On 12/11/2024 at 7:25 PM, Js Nana said: Oh, there you go again, Waldo13, asking logical questions. Quite the apt description of the lady. Smaller egos would be crushed, but not so our duke of derrière dumplings. Nothing can slow his jaunty roll as he plots his vengeance against Victor. Honestly, I’d love to see him get it, but we know how the writing works. I like how Michael put her in her place. Truthfully Billy should give her the cold shoulder and so should her kids. She needs to know her behavior won't be tolerated by anyone. But they all seem to come back to her. Unless Heather's death involves Daisy, the current plot makes about as much sense as Reva Shane's clone "Dolly". I think Jordan will kill Ian but Victor will end up killing her. We will see. 1 4 1 Link to comment

Oh wait, there was no shame in her game at all. I was so glad Audra brushed Devon's rudeness off. Really? Like Claire is unable to dress herself? I can't with Nikki and Vikki. Kyle declared to Jack, "Nothing will ever happen to Claire." Oy, that must mean something truly horrible is in store for her. Finally! Yeah, Lily realized her bills wouldn't pay themselves. And that no one else in town was gonna hire her but Devon, ha ha. I actually like Audra as of late. Nate who I didn't like but like a lot again I think is a good influence on Audra because I think he likes her for herself, not using her in a transactional relationship, which Tucker and Kyle had. I think Noah probably wanted to marry her and have babies and it scared her off. Yeah we are spared Lily whining around town how Billy and Jill let her down. Perfect setup for Ian's twofer deal with Mariah and Claire. On 12/12/2024 at 5:02 PM, Joimiaroxeu said: Lol, Audra doing the walk of shame down the stairs from Nate's bedroom. Truthfully, as of late Claire's wardrobe was not great for the most part. So it was probably a good idea that they bought all of Fenmore's for Claire's private fashion show. They meant well at least. 23 hours ago, boes said: Now wasn't that special? I was disappointed, though not surprised, that Show ultimately made Lily go back to Winters, made it that the Boys Club ultimately knew what was best for the little lady. May they all get a really bad case of jock itch. I missed your humor Boes. 6 1 Link to comment

Speaking of hair, Claire/Eve’s hair became much darker, to the point of being mousey brown, since she first appeared on the show. A make over for Claire/Eve with fugly old woman’s cloths. If I was Clair/Eve I would be offended that they don’t think her clothes are not appropriate enough to be a Newman. I thought that Audra swore off relationships. It didn’t take all that long for Audra to cling on to Natey Nate Nate. I really feel bad for Audra since she has no family business to fall back on like everyone else in GC. And unlike the others Audra didn't have a family member, either a biological or adopted one who could help her. Doesn't Devon know if Neil and Dru didn't help him, he would have been kind of like Audra? 16 hours ago, ScoobieDoobs said: So wait, Sharon wants to get hypnotized by Alan, who's really Dead Martin? Uh-oh, this may not end well . . . Uh, couldn't those 2 have just taken Claire out shopping for desperately needed makeover clothes? Woulda at least gotten them outta that depressing mausoleum! Didn't Vic's little chat with Claire sound awfully threatening? And yet, Claire, like all of Vic's kids (except maybe Adam), seemed to ignore his threatening tone when it comes to romantic partners. Hmmm. I like Claire held her own and kept her cool with Victor. But she knows that Victoria, Cole and Nikki have her back. 6 Link to comment
