  1. I believe I am. I can’t bring myself to press play
  2. This! One million percent. He thought he could make the show he wanted and it’s a privilege for us to be watching it. Ugh. I still haven’t finished watching.
  3. I still haven’t watched the rest of AJLT. But I’m so lost. What did they do to our show? SATC had its cringe moments we all still discuss but it was ours, even the bad, messy, uncomfortable parts. I can’t connect to this. I can’t see how these characters turned out the way they have. I also didn’t appreciate MPK’s gaslighting. I have many beloved friends with different pronouns and they think this is garbage too. As noted above, Sara is a great actor and beautiful. It’s all unnecessary. Sara deserves more too.
  4. I hope Jackie is able to concentrate on her health. The casting shake up is probably necessary but not too sure about some of the choices. I remember Danielle from True Life.
  5. I remember being surprised that Kim was wearing so much of it. But as a twop poster said, “Do you think they care what anyone thinks?”
  6. Family Loyalty Respect? Are they trying to be The Sopranos now? The family wore a lot of D&G and I mean a lot right around the time of Kim’s second wedding. Kim and a few others stopped when Kanye entered their lives.
  7. She has a lot of hero worship for her Father. That set behavioral patterns of needing a man who treats her like a Princess to fill voids. A lot of ignored dysfunction and generational trauma. She puts so much effort in to “appearances” to the extent that if everything looks okay then that makes it all okay.
  8. This would be hilarious! Could you imagine their vacations together? Julia Fox stopping by the townhouse for brunch? When thinking about the 35 and under set, I remembered an old show that was similar. I think it only lasted a season. City Girls? It only had a short season. One of the cast members was on Lizzie Grubman’s MTV reality show.
  9. I just finished her book. I expected more. I felt bad when I laughed about her description of herself as a rebellious teen because she still acts that way to me.
  10. This! Even Sonja, as laughable as some of her ideas have been she keeps trying. Lu keeps trying. Ramona keeps trying. No matter how bad things get, they haven’t given up. I love that so much. I can’t see Leah starting over so gracefully.
  11. This. I already pay for satellite. I’m sick of the pushing all content to streaming services. I don’t want to pay for 8 different services. I miss old RHONY. I understand wanting to appeal to a different demographic but I still say they should’ve created a different show for it not add to the existing cast. Leah has always belonged on a different show.
  12. This is one of many reasons it’s really a shame that the “Inn” was just for show because had it been a real opportunity that she held on to, if she had been able to keep it up now in the AirBnB world with her themes, creativity I could see Tori having a lot of success with short term rentals, event hosting, party planning. As mentioned several pages ago she was the first celebrity i saw collaborate with brands way before the social media boom. Tori can’t get out of her own way. But with all of her skills there’s no excuse other than that why she’s not very wealthy and successful on her own terms. I’ve always been curious about this. So many have went after Candy over the years which baffles me because that kind of entitlement is dangerous. I guarantee if Tori had received $100m it would all be gone now with not much to show for it.
  13. We’ve talked about it a lot on here but the most upsetting thing is Tori has skills, great business ideas but they never go anywhere because she lacks the executive functioning skills or partners with someone who lacks them. Almost every single one of her ideas over the years could’ve been successful. Everything from the fries to the party in a box which I’ve noticed another person online is having success with (themed boxes for events to renting table settings) to her party planning and craft kits. This is what kills. Tori does have talent. She also has as she mentioned in her book her Father’s skill of knowing what an audience wants to see. Even Dean for all his addictive personality mess has talent. He was never going to win Oscars but he did very well as a working actor before becoming a reality tv joke. The recipes he developed were wonderful. I still make some from their Thanksgiving special. So it’s hard when you have two skilled, talented people who can’t get out of their own way. I think Aaron knew Tori had the skills to be self sufficient. But what he didn’t know is she lacked the discipline to utilize those skills. Candy is well, Candy. But I think because she’s the living parent who happens to be a woman, society is harder on her than they need to be. She might’ve sucked as a Mom but there comes a time in life where a person has to step up and be responsible. Tori can’t spend her entire life being a mess because she had poor parenting. If I had Tori’s skills and social connections i would be very, very wealthy.
  14. I hate that we lost twop and much of the archives here. So much incredible discussion. I miss the episode threads because at times I’ll want to discuss something that was 20 pages ago and it feels like an interruption to the current conversation.
  15. Yeah that’s perplexing. I’m curious what she means by it because I don’t recall it either. It is always going to bother me a show with so much talent was such a mess with great moments blended in.
  16. Of the 3 I always thought Bridget had the healthier self esteem because she didn’t seem to really envy or want to be anyone else. Even with the workout video she was like What’s wrong with the way we look now? Mac brushes aren’t what they used to be. Real techniques were hit or miss. Some sets were more durable than others. Much like Sonia Kashuk products it seemed like the plain ones were more durable than the fun colored sets. Sigma, EcoTools and Morphe are good too. I’ve never had a problem with EcoTools which is amusing given their price point. Yeah their excuses for ending it all didn’t make sense. Especially given their ages, families. Who throws money in the trash? I think there’s more to it than we know.
  17. Exactly! Even on her podcasts she gives off that energy. On the show you could see the way the girls were approached with angry energy. Like The View mess. In many ways it reminded me of the old Marilyn Monroe interview where she talked about fame giving others what they think is the right to treat you a particular way. Their contract with the brush company was over and they’ve moved on in to more influencer type careers. But to do this was ridiculous. How much longer will influencer culture be sustainable? Also yes. It would’ve been a continued great source of passive income because to be honest their tutorials were probably the best on there aside from Lisa Eldridge and Wayne Goss. Not only that but both sisters seemed to really love makeup, the history of it. I loved when they got to make a video with Joan Collins. Deleting everything seemed so unnecessarily aggressive.
  18. I had so many of their videos bookmarked. I hate that they deleted everything. As a long time viewer it felt like a face slap.
  19. There’s so much I want to reply to on here but short on time. I know we’ve discussed it before on here but this Kendra/Bridget stuff still annoys me because Bridget always went out of her way to be helpful and kind to Kendra. Especially with the baby shower, checking in on her. Even if Kendra wants to play the we were never friends card, there’s manners and human decency that should exist. There was an US weekly or Star magazine features back when Kendra was living in Indiana that Bridget drove down to SD to visit Kendra’s grandma to check on her. I get all the Holly drama. But I’ve never understood any of the Bridget negativity. Also as a Holly fan, the baby stuff mentioned above? I still don’t think she’s being very honest about certain situations.
  20. I think someone uploaded the whole series. I should re-watch because all I remember are the cringe moments. Shanna didn’t come off too well. Her laziness and disinterest in anything other than hanging all over Travis was sad. It was sad on Christmas morning she couldn’t get up with her kids. Travis with the kids was cute. But aside from being the more invested parent he had gross moments too. In his book he claimed that with Shanna it wasn’t love, it was lust. As I’ve posted before, the creepy part is he’s repeating every step of that relationship with Kourtney. I know he had primary custody but I’ve always felt like he’s been too out and about with his kids over the years at events. Alabama needed to be a child not making music videos.
  21. Currently watching Season 2. I had almost forgotten how enjoyable this show truly was
  22. Have you tried any of Maybelline’s oranges? Electric Orange is pretty nice. I wear MAC’s Morange a lot too.
  23. Every time I do a re-watch, I’m like who is that gorgeous curly haired woman? Omg! It’s Teresa! She was beautiful before. I understood wanting the “bubbies” as most women after three kids complain about that area but all the other stuff she did to herself was unnecessary
