Technically that’s a Staten Island accent. Danielle C is from Staten Island then moved to NJ. She was on True Life’s I’m a Staten Island Girl. She wanted to be an actress, tone down her accent. From her goals over the years it’s almost sad she would go on this show. I had to unfollow her a few years ago because all the loud scream-talking gave me a headache. I’m re-watching for background noise. On Season 3 now. I had forgotten how uncomfortable and condescending the scene with the Manzo’s going to Vito’s family’s business was. “Your son graduated from Fordham and knows how to slice mortadella. Four years of college!” At least Vito has a real job unlike their kids. That whole scene with Al talking about his kids is cringe to me.

I think Jenna might have been interesting in her J.Crew and Townhouse porn days. I loved that townhouse. But now? What I’ve seen on social media is a no. I don’t want to watch influencers. I can go on YouTube or Instagram for that.

It’s a shame they weren’t given more seasons. I don’t think any were considered since they live on the island but it would’ve been great. Where are all these people now? This is something I think about too often. Usually at random moments. Not just that show but all the reality shows over the years. I know I’m broken record with it but Leah belonged on a different show.

Reality star products in general can be hilarious. Drita from Mob Wives had a mall kiosk that cracked me up because the makeup was another brand but had cheap “Just Me by Drita” stickers slapped sloppily on top of the other brand’s name on the box.

Absolutely. Many don’t know that manufacturers tend to be generous with coupon codes. Also until the latest Nordstrom sale drama I was surprised how many didn’t know about the cookie situation, that if you clicked on influencer links they got a percentage of what you bought from the Nordstrom website even if it was two weeks or a month later. So be careful what you click from them.

I feel like I’m one of the few out there who doesn’t care about influencers nor am I influenced by them. I’ve even found myself passing on products using heavy influencer campaigns. They’re salespeople without a name tag. I love watching the earlier seasons before they all became so self aware. That’ll probably end when the shows leave Hulu because I’m not paying for another subscription services. My satellite bill is high enough but they want us to subscribe to 10 different streaming services? No thanks.

IMO, her first book was better but not by much. They read like blog entries to me. As someone who has only seen a few episodes of the show I imagine anything anyone would find interesting in them is dated information in this era of everything online. IIRC some of the things she put in one of the books like the murder house, she blogged and podcasted about in much more detail. I honestly don’t understand why publishers keep giving so many reality stars book deals. Obviously it’s money I know, but very few of them have any substance or are worth reading twice or even the poor trees who died for their vapid words to be printed on. At least Brandi Glanville’s made me laugh a few times. Lala’s made me think she needs intense therapy. Lisa Vanderpump’s had some good recipes and table setting advice. Kyle Richards’ wasn’t worth the time I wasted reading it, same with a Melissa Gorga’s. Teresa’s cookbooks are great if you can get past all the dated quips in them about various co stars. Danielle Staub would make a fortune if she told the full truth about herself, she would touch on something interesting (80s Miami nightlife) then not go in to it.

He does a lot for others, the community. He’s a good soul. I think he was the best part of Leah’s screen time. I’d take him as a housewife.

I’m curious if this is what happened. Or after hearing what he planned for the characters, CN wanted more input. Me too! I’m discovering many series for the first time or re-watching things as an adult when time permits.

I’m beginning to wonder how many shows I’ve actually liked within the last 20 years because this has made me realize in multiple instances I’ve loved discussing it on these forums more than I’ve watched a lot of shows. I spent more time on here and Twop. I love everyone’s company. For some reason it’s not allowing me to post under this? But this is honestly what I find so offensive. They could’ve created a not the same but still super enjoyable show. Instead they created something many of us couldn’t sit through.
