Yes! LOL! I loved how she took a creative spin on ho-ing up certain things in a playful way. Jackie Ho, Holly Antoinette. I loved the red hair when her daughter was a baby. She has that face where all hair colors look great on her. I loved her natural strawberry hair too

Pam was the standard but even she eventually became sort of a caricature of herself. I agree! Holly’s work was so beautifully done that it looks like her own. I remember on one of the DVD commentaries she mentioned her only regret being veneers. Season 1 Kendra looked hard. Her body was incredible in the gym scene but the super tan and over bleached dry hair wasn’t a great look. That’s why I said upthread it took Elle magazine I think it was and then later the darker hair, later series Kendra to see how pretty she really is.

I think Hef said that to keep them down plus he stopped putting girlfriends in the magazine except for the Hanging with Hef feature because after getting in the magazine many would leave. I always think of the fitness video episode where Bridget said something along the lines of What about a workout to show how we look the way we look now? It’s a very brief moment but I liked the way she refused to accept body criticism from the fitness experts. I really admire her confidence and always have. I’d feel insecure in that environment. Bridget? She’d put on a costume and jump right in to the party

All the testing was important because the most gorgeous girl in the bar might not be photogenic and then the most photogenic girls might not be telegenic (for the playmate videos) I remember not caring much for Kayla Collins but now think she’s adorable. Then you have Darlene Kurtis types who are gorgeous girls but look like their chest hurts. What I remember finding amusing when the GND did their first pictorial was Holly and Kendra looked of the moment, of the 2000’s. Bridget’s gorgeous natural body looked like they plucked her from a 50s or 60s issue and photoshopped her in. Not shaming the other two, I think they’re beautiful too but it was weird to see tiny women, huge high implants then Bridget lol

I didn’t either. Of course I didn’t find a lot of the girls to be that attractive. Many were just too carbon copies of the same model. Many of the girls removed the features that made them unique. Or Umm I feel so so so bad even saying this but quite a few I thought were far too thin. When I can see every rib then overly large implants I don’t think it’s attractive. And I fully acknowledge that what I’m saying is because of my own discomfort - not to be cruel or tear someone else down.

Thank you! I never saw this. I didn’t watch the spin offs. I think I saw maybe 2 episodes if Khloe & Lamar. But Kim can’t seem to function away from home, even in NYC which has everything.

She seemed so happy with Reggie. The body language in their photos really shows it. Kris H seemed like a guy who would rather get takeout and stay in with his dogs. Darn! Was desperately hoping you were inside the Wyoming cabin listening to convos for us!

I’ve always wondered that about her because from what I remembered years ago was her happy looking relationships (Reggie, 2nd husband, even the other football player) didn’t seem to care much for the life on camera lifestyle. It seems like she never handles situations well and I agree she makes it so much worse than it should be. The public attention is probably more important to her. Sad.

This! It’s so awful! What’s creepy is Travis Barker claimed his oh so public antics with his ex Shanna that he’s repeating the entire playbook of with Kourtney was “lust” not love. So there’s so much messiness with “Lust” in this family’s relationships. I think the only fulfilling genuine relationship Kim could have is if she stepped away from the cameras. I think that’s why her relationships didn’t work with normal-ish guys. It’s disgusting and heartbreaking for anyone to be considered property. With all of the messiness they’ve made public I can’t imagine what each is like behind closed doors. It’s sad that he doesn’t have anyone in his life who isn’t out for something.

Me too! It’s embarrassing to admit but umm it seemed like the end of the world because back then when a show disappeared, it disappeared. So i got together with a friend and we took turns recording every season during the marathon, carefully pausing during commercial break to eliminate commercials. She had the fancy double decker vhs machine so we made copies of all four seasons because they were GONE forever! Never to be aired again! I remember when they showed up in syndication I couldn’t believe how choppy the editing was.

It’s scary isn’t it? All the misinformation. I hate that not only are we not taught but the important conversations aren’t happening. So glad this show was useful for something! Except for the Andy Cohen reunion thing I haven’t watched since the Kim’s second wedding season then before that it was sporadic episodes here and there.

Oh the latter is a topic I could rant about all day. I thank the pop up services, people like Chrissy Teigen who bragged about their daughter’s gender being selected as if all you need is a big bank account to select your own baby. Most don’t realize freezing eggs doesn’t guarantee a baby in the future. I’ve been through the hellacious process a few times and have many friends who froze eggs for “insurance for later” only to find they didn’t survive the thaw, weren’t viable. Two friends have had recent success with Ovarian Rejuvenation but yeah not only are these services expensive there is no guarantee. It makes me so angry that so much misinformation about it, the process is floating around out there. Sorry for my rant everyone! The last reality show Paris did on her own? I can’t think of the name of it. She had Brooke Mueller on too. The way she mocked the community service required after her jail time was offensive. Even all the bitchy paparazzi stuff making fun of people back in the day was so wrong. I can’t see Kim with that kind of behaviour. Vapid? Yes. Spoiled? Yes. But mean or cruel just for the sake of being so? No. Her sisters? Oh yes. Kim has always been perplexing to me because so much of her existence seems to be an act.

Exactly this. I get the annoyance of everyone being sick of the Kardashians everywhere. But Kim seems to bring out the worst in people which I’ve never understood. She’s not mean or cruel in the way Khloe and Kourtney have shown themselves to be over the years. I could never see her mocking community service the way Paris Hilton did.

Despite all the levels of ick, I understand his appeal. He seems fun and puts all of his issues on the table upfront so you know exactly what you’re getting. It’s Kim I don’t really understand. I admit I’ve only watched bits and pieces of the show over the years but she doesn’t come off as fun to be around. Yes. Holly was decked out in Dior, Bridget in various brands then Kendra was wearing mall brands and to her the Baby Phat bag she carried was fancy. Even when the show was running, I felt many of the edits were cruel. I love that she’s making the videos. I knew it would take time for her to embrace it all enough to discuss it.

I think they had been there so long that all novelty of the situation was gone. Add in the us versus anyone new drama along with oh we’re older and more sophisticated and that’s what you get. That’s why there is so much, always will be to discuss about this show because of the different angles of approaching it all. I thought all the online drama about that episode was kind of sad. I think the other girls were embarrassed by her behavior in front of Cavalli. The sad fact is she didn’t know any better. She was being herself. As for loving the Olive Garden, it’s fancy to many. Kendra grew up in a single parent home where eating out at chain restaurants were a luxury. So much went in to every shoot.
