  1. Adorable tour of the school set by the actors playing Johan and Santa-monica
  2. I totally agree! I feel Ross and Rachel were just toxic together. Apart from Rosses trust issues, which were understandable given his first wife had cheated on him and dumped him, Rachel seemed to be extremely possessive of Ross when he was in happy secure relationships with other women. There’s the whole Emily thing(which I feel Rachel should have gotten more flack for then a passing mention by Monica that she only goes after guys 15 before they’re married), and she’s the worst to Julie when all the poor women did was be together with the guy she wants. Even calling it a betrayal when Monica is friendly to her brothers girlfriend.
  3. Mitch and Cam talking about hot Lily’s body is was just wrong. Ew... Their being gay doesn’t make commenting on a young girls body okay. Liked Jay, Gloria and Phil the most. Found Claire realizing how much worse her voice commands made everything funny.
  4. Wow, that's dark! I wonder why they did that on Arrow instead of Flash since that seems like something more relevant to the latter. Really enjoyed this episode. Loved Barry and Iris and seeing the Garricks. Also, Joe and Cecile are couple goals. Love how they can disagree but do it in a low-drama way and are in-sync on the big things.
  5. My grandma once told me she would put my mom and aunts to sleep with the TV on for that very reason. My mom kept it up with me and my sister and I am still able to sleep through anything. Kate was so rude to Toby in that argument. Agree with the person above who say she seem to feel he's losing weight "at" her. Man, Malik has no chill. At first I thought he was trying to pull something, inserting his daughter into the conversation like it's nothing, almost like Randall wouldn't notice, but then he came across as dumb when he said he thought they knew. Unless Deja lied and said they knew, why would he think she would bring that up to her parents so soon? And why would you bring it up within minutes of meeting them? I know he's young but he has to know most parents would be wary of their teen daughter dating an older boy who's a teen father. Laughed at teen Kevin just casually slipping in he married Sophie over a phone message. It's definitely in character with Kevin at that age. Loved Becca and teen Kate getting along was so nice. Also enjoyed Becca and Beth's mom connecting.
  6. Thought this was a really great episode. Really felt bad for Bow when Alicia and Deedee were fighting and getting in the way of the project she was so excited about. Loved that they came together at the end. Enjoyed the hockey subplot with the kids getting so into it. So sad Johan felt he couldn't like it and was happy when his father set him straight, telling him he could like whatever he liked. Really liked them all bonding over first hockey and then basketball.
  7. Funny episode! Especially with George and Missy. That professor is kinda a creep. Glad Connie knows what he’s up to. When Sheldon called Connie selfish and she froze, it was a definite “S**ts going down!” moment. He definitely got off lucky being grounded for a month.
  8. Eh, while I am doubting he will die(or if he does that he will stay dead) I am not as annoyed with a comic book show doing that as comics have had a history of characters dying and others taking on the mantle.
  9. Really good season opener. Really like Barry and Iris’ scene about how they gotta stick together and help each other through. There really are no support groups for what they’ve been through. Somebody in the Arrow-verse should get on making a Superheroes support groups. God knows with all the loss, betrayal and other stuff characters go through on the shows there would be more then enough attendance. Leo from Legends of Tomorrow could do puppet therapy! Really like how much Ralph has been integrated into the group and become a part of the team. Excited to see how Sue plays into the Arrow-verse since, from what I understand, theirs is a pretty iconic story. Queens Flash should be played over the opening monologue. How epic would that make the opening? Geez is Caitlin’s friend a piece of work. Who says that about their dead mother?
  10. I was getting mad at Kate for her reaction to Toby’s weight loss, but am happy where it ended; with her, the neighbor, baby Jack and Audio(still an awesome name) going for a walk. Really liked Kevin, Nicky and Cassidy cracking up. Hartley and Morrison have a charm in their lighter moments that came through in that scene. Loved the sibling scenes. Always love some Big Three moments and enjoyed Deja and Tess talking.
  11. Well, to be fair it often seemed the show forgot about Ben. I don't think we ever even saw him with Emma. Did we even see him after Rachel got pregnant? Seriously, her career was just a guide on what not to do in the workplace. Especially Tag(whole thing about hiring someone she wanted to be with is just ick.), spreading rumors about an affair with Ralph Lauren and spreading rumors her boss wanted to buy her baby. Any of those would have been cause for firing or at the least disciplinary action.
  12. This, so much this! I hated last year's totally black and white stances. Rarely is an issue black and white, yet the show portrayed it as "alien immigrants good, anyone against bad." They could have gone interesting places with the impact of Earth and the US having alien migration. How do you fairly and equitably handle alien immigration when some aliens can be, and have been, dangerous in the past? How do you handle aliens who could destroy the world? What kind of justice system can handle aliens with super-abilities so they get a fair trial? Have alien cultures been assimilated into Earth's the way movies, music, art food, etc. has been shared across the cultures of different countries? Is there an alien somewhere who opened a restaurant featuring the cuisine of their home planet? I digress. The point is the show is very heavy-handed with it's messages and leaves no room for the complexities of an issue. I would love to see a newsroom struggling to adapt to changing times and a changing media environment while still staying true to its mission and putting out quality journalism, but I highly doubt that's what we will get. Also didn't like the whole Lena says she and Kara are cool while planning her attack. I've had more than enough of a Super-Luthor friendship turns sour with Smallville, thanks. Otherwise, lest I give the wrong impression, I thought this was a pretty good episode and am glad to see the show back. Intrigued to see where John's storyline goes, especially.
  13. I love Phoebe's fight with the fire alarm. Why do the batteries on those things seem to only die at night?
  14. I think it’s the different time. They came to realize that the public will be okay if the princes didn’t marry a perfect Disney princess.
  15. I was glad Randall finally agreed to the bus. I was exactly Deja’s age (Freshman in high school) when I first started taking the city bus around by myself (One line went directly to my school from a half block away from our house) and it was fine. Especially when there is so many other people on it. It’s not like she was taking a nearly empty bus in the middle of the night. Baby Jack is so sweet! I don’t think I’ve seen such an adorable baby on TV since The Office(which had a knack for casting adorable babies).
  16. Oh wow, am I dumb! She definitely looked and sounded like Lupone to me! Thanks for the correction!
  17. Just caught the second episode on TBS and the Broadway fan in me can't believe I never realized Patti Lupone makes an appearance in it as a museum coworker Ross is talking to about an exhibit when Carol comes to tell him she's pregnant. Strikes me as a huge casting coup for a show just starting out. It's not even like Law and Order where it was filmed in NYC so it makes sense they have a ton of Broadway people show up.
  18. I kinda feel like there is going to be a bubble. Like with cable packages, eventually people are going to be sick of paying a lot for stuff they don’t watch and will start taking a look at what services they truly watch and utilize, cutting ones they can live without or not even subscribing in the first place.
  19. There are so many good network shows and I HATE that they are seen as inferior because they aren’t on cable or a streaming platform. And it will just get worse as more streaming services are released with their own original content.
  20. Public libraries as well! I work at one and we get the DVD sets of shows from sources like HBO and Netflix. Only big exception I've noticed in our system is Amazon.
  21. Teaser Trailer Released for Season 3
  22. I think they would have married young but Camilla was seen as an unacceptable choice for the future king. Remember this was before Kate and Meghan. The heir couldn’t be seen to marry someone “with a past.”(Read; not a virgin) It’s crazy because would anyone have really cared in the 1970’s about someone not being a virgin?
  23. I think a lot of their treatment of Harry is down to fear of anything out of the ordinary and which they can't explain, and in Petunia's case, jealousy. Not that it excuses it, of course, but I really liked how we saw in the last book she was jealous of Lily and wanted to join the magical world and go to Hogwarts. It rang true, and added another dimension to the character. That being said, I would also say two other bad parents in the series, though more to a negligent extent, would be Lily and Petunia's parents. We only really see them through Petunia's eyes, but it sounds like they were super excited to have a witch in the family and fawned over Lily, which left Petunia feeling left out. They should have seen or anticipated this and done more to help Petunia deal with her feelings that ultimately helped cause the rift between the sisters and turned Petunia against anything magic. I mean, if they had done more to make Petunia feel less like the "loser" sister, she would have been totally different towards Harry. Their failure to recognize and help her overcome her toxic jealousy did her no favors.
