  1. Yep. Its all exciting stuff when you are hot and heavy in the Oval office and giving Mellie the middle finger, knowing that she feels some kind of way about it. I know Mellie does not love Fitz and I don't think she ever did, but she thought they were a team (just as Cyrus thought he was on the team) and he trashed that relationship without in reverence to Mellie for having his children. Now, he is all Olivia's 24/7. The clock is ticking on his relevance and he will soon no longer have the power to have sex with her on Air Force One whenever he wants. Plus, even I could stand Fitz for a few hours a day or so. Its a whole different ball of wax when you have to entertain this asshole 24/7. Olivia is a power player. If she really wanted to make jam in Vermont with her doting, boring husband, she could have done that long ago. As someone said above, she would rather spar with her Daddy than marry Fitz and his dumb ass should buy a damn clue.
  2. Right? Who cares about Nicole Mcwhatever? Do you and yours. Frankly, I would have been mad at whomever provided the seats to the Beador entourage. If the Beadors have clout to travel with the team, surely they have the kind of juice to sit wherever they want in the stadium, making sure they have primo seats far away from any irritants they may encounter. Instead, they are sitting 15 rows behind their arch enemies - um, no. No plush party suite was available? If the McMacklins are season ticket holders, then I would question who exactly is the stalker here. Beyond this, Shannon needs to stop acting ghetto in public. She is acting like a twenty year-old hair pulling over some worthless guy. Its silly at 20 and down right ignorant at 51.
  3. I think Shannon is out of order. Her issue is with her husband, not with his mistress or the general public. I would have been mad if this screaming nut had disturbed my peace while I am out trying to enjoy myself. Just how long is Nicole McMackin suppose to wear her scarlet letter? She did not choose to go on a reality TV show to be part of a storyline where she is outed as a cheater publicly. Where is her privacy? Why can't she and her family choose to move on and grow from her mistake? I am not trying to advocate for a cheater, but how long is Nicole to be publicly flogged before Shannon takes responsibility for her own misery? If the McMackin's seats are 15 rows in front of the Beadors' seats, the McMackins had to pass the Beadors in order to get to their seats. It is what is. Are they supposed to slink around in shame like David? What about Mr. McMackin? He did not do anything wrong so why does he need to be publicly attacked? Shannon needs to grow up and stop acting like a child. This shit has gotten old and she needs to stop. She has young, impressionable girls to raise and she should not have time for this bullshit. (I hate Shannon for making me defend a mistress).
  4. I love the chemistry between Tim and Tea. I would watch a show about them and their family alone.
  5. I have been thinking this from day one. Fitz, Olivia, Mellie and Cyrus are so over the top that it all seems to be a gag or something.
  6. I don't think Cy is in love with Fitz either. Cy sacrificed everything for Fitz and got him elected. Cy rose to the promise land of power and influence. Fitz used Cy then cut him out of his life as if Cy was some bum off the street. Fitz would not know Olivia if it weren't for Cyrus. Cy went from the penthouse to the outhouse with one stroke of the pen. I think Jeff has done a great job of expressing the kind of pain that Cyrus has experienced (sadness, anger, maniacal crazy) over this roller coaster of a Presidency. He pulled his shit together once he decided to accept Fitz's bullshit though. He wanted his job back, his floors cleaned, a pardon and his replacement out on her ass stat. He should have made Fitz gravel on his knees.
  7. Ah Cy. You were almost out the door. You should have let his ass twist. Dude does not treat family well.
  8. This. I thought OJ was guilty too and I always thought LAPD framed OJ for the murders to prevent him from getting away with it. It did not help that the Rampart division of LAPD was running amok which helped the public believe that the police would plant evidence. I also agree with your comments about Ethan being Joran Van Der Sloot 3.0. Ethan will run afoul of the law again. I just hope no innocent people die when he does. The same goes for George Zimmerman.
  9. I am wondering how Cleburne Metal Works is getting government work. Their website lists multiple projects done for various Cities and ISDs. Those public entities must not have procurement policies that include criminal background checks.
  10. I want to ask people like this why they bothered having kids in the first place. Are they unaware that they aren't required to produce or raise children? I think we all are upset that these people just don't care. They just don't care that 4 people were killed and 9 others were injured. They don't care that people lost their loved ones forever over something they had control over. They have no sense of right or wrong and everything is cured with a check. There is no shame or remorse. I wish ABC had reviewed the judge's cases to see if she regularly handed down light sentences. I want to know why the judge decided to give Ethan such a light sentence. Four people were killed as a result of a drunk driving accident and the judge lightly tapped the defendant on the wrists. Instead of chasing Ethan in a truck, ABC should have harassed the judge for answers.
  11. After watching the Secret Tapes recently, I have no doubt that he confessed to various people. He is proud of what he did because he thinks they deserved it. I had no idea about Simpson. I was a teenager when he murdered Nicole and Ron, but I had no inkling that he is an uber narcissistic asshole. He really thought he could just tell his side of things and all would be well. I wonder from time to time how Arnelle, Jason, Sydney and Justin are doing. I read that Sydney and Justin are in the restaurant business. They seem to be well-adjusted and happy. I wonder if any of them talk to OJ.
  12. Whats really terrible is that no one from the Couch family apologized to the families for the deaths and injuries suffered by the victims. I guess they felt the settlements were sufficient. While Ethan was clearly at fault for the accident and he deserved prison time, his parents failed horribly at doing their job as parents. His parents did not give him everything he wanted; he was not a victim of affluenza. He was a victim of parents that did not care about him. This kid had no supervision, no role models, no discipline, and no love. They would have done better by him if they had given him to someone else to raise.
  13. I remember this (I am a Texan). I remember how Donna Hanover was made to look like some homely, shrill bitch that was not as glamorous and wonderful as the sainted Judith who took care of Rudy when he had cancer. I still cannot believe New Yorkers did not raise enough hell to get the mistress out of their house. As I recall, this situation ended Rudy's chance to run for President....as it should have. This does not sound like a good turn for the character. I was hoping to see some Machiavellian moves, not a bunch of mooning over the fair Fitz.
  14. I wonder if it was hard for Kim to get where she is or if it was a fluke? This may explain why she is so soft when it comes to Brielle. I thought Kim was shrewd, but it turns out that she is just lucky. The problem is that she is confusing being lucky with hard work. Kroy seems to be such a hard working person. I wonder how they reconcile their approaches to success.
  15. I was on Kroy's side too. He did not show up one day at an NFL facility and they made him a linebacker. He put in the work so that he would be prepared for any opportunities that came his way. Who you know may get you in, but I believe that you stay in by hard work and being educated. Kim's comments were very immature. Everyone's dreams are belittled and discouraged. It seems to me that you have to have the fortitude to continue pursuing them despite what the naysayers say. If you cannot overcome a bunch of talkers, then you cannot overcome the real challenges. The business that Brielle wants to pursue is highly competitive with both journalism and non-journalism graduates pursuing a finite number of jobs. Kim may know someone at E, but so do the Obamas, for example. If Malia wants the same job that Brielle is pursuing, I suspect Malia is going to get the job. There will always be people that have not earned their way, but those people are typically covered by a nice trust fund and family connections. The rest of us have to educate ourselves and continue to earn our way. Brielle's family money and connections are not deep enough to keep her in the style she is accustomed. She is the oldest in a family that skews young so mom and dad don't have any extra money for her whims. She should have some type of job now and she needs to be working the E thing and seeing if she can enroll herself into someone's journalism school simultaneously. Of course, this is Kim's child so Brielle will be happy to welcome her first child by the age of 20 with some guy she quickly married because Kroy insisted upon it.
  16. I am too. I have always liked the way that Olivia has shown some respect towards Mellie and vice versa. If it weren't for Fitz, they would be friends - I think. He has 18 months left and the investigations will begin. Were public funds used to keep Olivia? Did she have access to the President that she should not have had? Did she receive special favors? I don't think anyone will touch her with the kind of heat she brought down on herself. Me too. Cyrus coveted his job and the power that it gave him. He sacrificed everything for it so its not surprising that he would kiss stupid Fitz's ass to get it back. Cyrus was on the team that got Fitz to where he is and he is responsible for Fitz meeting Olivia in the first place. Cyrus is morally corrupt, but he deserves better from Fitz. I appreciate Shonda using How Do You Keep the Music Playing by James Ingram and Patti Austin. I love that song.
  17. I don't understand Abby's strategy and I don't think its a noble gesture to allow someone to label you as a slut to save your boyfriend. I guess Olivia plans to never have her own business and to never be taken seriously as a business person. She will just stroll into the sunset with Fitz without any ambition to ever do anything other than Fitz again. Sarah Palin never had a problem thinking that she could be the candidate (she undermined/upstaged Senator McCain at every turn) so I think Mellie's thinking is realistic given what we all actually witnessed in real life.
  18. Seriously. Given the situation, Fitz could have played Cyrus as he played Mellie. However, Cyrus/Mellie will be intriguing. I hope Mellie gets the house, the money, and Impeach Fitz.
  19. I agree that its awful, but its better than the babydoll dress Kim is wearing.
  20. It was either that or listen to her whine about having something up her ass. He chose the lessor of 2 evils.
  21. Her shows are entertaining until they become repetitive and over wrought. Its like having too much chocolate cake. I think the only way she can move the show out of its rinse, repeat cycle is to kill Fitz so that new stories can be told. Cyrus or Mellie can become a Presidential candidate while Olivia can focus on building her business and finding a new love. If they want to keep the actor, they can think of Fitz in flashbacks or something as they all cope with living in the present. Mellie should have kicked him in the balls looong ago. Nevertheless, she can make up for lost time. I hate that she is focusing her rage at Olivia in the next episode. She needs to gather a coven together to strategize about how she is going to bring Fitz to his knees. That smug ass swagger he has needs to end immediately.
  22. Adultery is a crime in DC (fine, jail). Additionally, the politicians will want to look into the relationship to see if POTUS committed any other crimes while conducting an illicit extramarital affair. The investigation may uncover the President being blackmailed because of Olivia and the resulting loss of life. If the politicians don't find out about the blackmail, they still have enough to prevent the President from achieving his agenda. Thanks for correcting me on the VP's name.
  23. I do too. He is shady, but against this cast of characters, his character stands above all of them. If she were the right kind of woman, she would have realized that it is not right to call on Jake for his assistance when she knows how he feels about her. I am beginning to hate Olivia as much as I hate Fitz. I appreciate that Olivia expressed her feelings about being ashamed and hiding. But, I think I would have respected her more if she stuck to her original guns and not engaged in an adulterous affair until her lover divorced his wife. She is a cheater and got her her lover elected POTUS by dubious means. She acts as if her only wrong is loving a man that her parents don't approve of or something. There is a lot of bad, ugly stuff thats going on here that she should be ashamed of IMO. She made matters worse by standing up to the press IMO. Doesn't POTUS have children? They hate and disrespect Mellie 24/7, but what about everyone else? Surely they don't think public sentiment is going to be supportive? I mean, Mellie just lost a child so I cannot imagine that the public is going to be okay with a Presidential mistress. If this show parallels real life, then they are about to start a whole bunch of Congressional hearings that are going to cost taxpayers millions and rightfully so when the other party points out that that President used the military to fight for his mistress. Daddy Pope ain't got nothing on Baby girl. I absolutely loved it when Dorothy (I think her name is Dorothy) asked the President whether he ever thinks about the people that voted for him. The reason that I hate Fitz so much is that he acts as if this has all been put upon him and that he did not have any choices to be with his one true love when all he had to do is tell the truth on the campaign trail and let the chips fall. I am so glad that someone said that to him and I would appreciate it if Miss Dorothy says that one more again just for those of us in the cheap seats.
  24. I am with you. Kim is a hustler. She will say and do what she needs to get the lifestyle that she wants so I think all of us thought the story was a stunt on her part to a) have a reason to exit the show or b) raise her profile by getting sympathy from viewers. While DWTS is hard work, I never thought she wanted to leave it because it pays her more money the longer she stays and she is on TV each week which gives her a platform to get other offers. Now, her conundrum is that its harder than she anticipated, but its better than her alternatives. I suspect she will be using her medical issues as an excuse for everything from this point forward so Cooks, you are not wrong for being suspicious. Kim is Kim and water is wet.
  25. I think she takes them to keep track of how she looks, especially in a hospital when she does not have easy access to her makeup. How she looks is way more important than some mini stroke. Her looks are her money maker and her man trap. I don't think she will quit DWTS because she needs the money. Six children, a mini mansion, a cook, 2 baby sitters, and high-end luxury items don't pay for themselves.
