Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue
KerleyQ replied to BestestAuntEver's topic in General Hospital
If that rumor is true, color me shocked that TG isn't playing Pat. As for the possibility of an Ava/Sonny marriage to get custody, I can't see it. Ava would be smarter to marry Silas and go for custody with him. -
You know, between that and Nik cheating on Emily with Courtney because Emily didn't get over being raped by Nik's doppelganger quickly enough, Spencer has the best male role models in is life.
-
I'll be disappointed if we don't get an "are you fucking kidding me??" kind of reaction out of Sarah, given that

I'm not sure exactly what happened. There was a rumor that someone I wonder how much of what happens they'll show or explain. The final teams are

I didn't know where else to put this. It's a spoiler, but not about an Ex-ile match. So I'll spoiler tag it here, just to be safe: Apparently, right before the final,

I hope Michael points out that the reason Claudia went off the rails and kidnapped pregnant Carly was because Sonny decided to publicly humiliate a woman he knew was a loose cannon. "And, then, after she was rescued, Sonny shot her in the head while she was giving birth!" Or at least wash the shoe polish off. I seriously want to know what's up with that. Did he (or his wife, or someone at the show) take note of how much people noticed the gray in his beard while Sonny was in prison, and decide that he needed to try to look younger? It's ridiculous, because most people seemed to think he looked good with the gray, even people who can't stand Sonny. The shoe polish just makes him look insecure and vain along with a side of desperate. The gray looked so much better.

Because Carly never hired nannies to raise her kids. Nope. Nope. Nope. Never happened. I guess it would be her worst nightmare for a nanny to raise Avery because she sees raising Avery as her ticket back to Sonny's little moobster and its shoe-polished pubes? -
Yeah, all that anguish about how he needs to get to Spencer in the hospital rightnow!!! but the custody hearing! Whatever is a shoe-polished mobster with a heart of gold to do?? So obnoxious. It was a dead heat between Sonny's anguish over Spencer and Franco's "Phyllis" crap for most annoying thing GH did to me today. (Seriously, can Y&R get Ron to ceast and desist?)

I think it would be interesting to have TJ as a guest on the reunion show some season. I'd like to hear his take on some of the shit that goes on.
-
My guess, if we go the DID route, is that we were seeing Luke "trapped" in his own mind, while Fluke was in control. I have zero idea if there is any existing scene that would discredit that idea (would not surprise me if there are many, it's Ron), because I have no patience to actually pay attention to the details in this shit any more. None of it matters though.

I agree. I do think he gets close to some of them - the ones he sees over and over and gets to know. I noticed, for example, that he hugged Jonna when they lost last night. And he really seemed to enjoy how into this stuff Sarah is. I like when he does stuff like judging them for being assholes about who gets sent in. I can't remember what season it was, but people kept sending in the same person over and over, and he was so clearly annoyed by it at some point.

How does Spinelli have no money? The guy worked for Jason, who I assume paid him really well, and he lived rent-free in the "regrettably pink" room in Jason's penthouse. How much fucking orange soda does the guy buy?
-
That was the best part of the episode. "The black couple wins and they serve fried chicken. But I love fried chicken." I love Leroy so much. I really can't imagine who he'd have to be paired with for me to not still root for him.

I could swear I remember reading, back when she was a regular, that she did her own hair and/or makeup. -
That was my thought, too - that the final Exile battle was going to take place in the dome in front of everyone. Otherwise, they let a huge spoiler out of the bag showing the couple coming into the Dome. There is no way it was Zach and Jonna.
-
I'm going to need the cast to stop with the "Thor" comparisons now. If you're at all conspiracy-minded, it's hard not to look at that Dome as something they used to make sure Zach came back to go on a rampage against Wes and Leroy. But, dude cannot handle a hammer well enough to outdo a guy with one hand. You, Zach, are no Thor. Also, you're an emotionally abusive jackhole. I really, really, really do not want to see Bananas and Nany come back. Seriously, I'll even take DoucheZach back. Just not Bananas. I've never liked Sarah, going back to her Kenny boot-licking days, but I do really like her genuine enthusiasm for all of these games. It's nice to see someone having fun.

You'd think that, since she's clearly afraid of her sister spilling some big secret, that setting her up in the fuck pad would be a smart move. Sis is grateful to be set up in her own place, so she's less likely to blow Maya's spot, and she's somewhat under Maya's thumb, so she can keep an eye on her. Essentially turning her out to the streets when she's clearly looking for some help seems like a bad idea if you're afraid of her spilling dirt on you. Why piss her off or leave her desperate? -

I wonder how much of the Hope/Liam/Steffy back story Ivy knows. That "Liam and I are sleeping together" moment seemed kind of awkward, but then I wondered if she knew that Steffy exploited the whole "Hope wants to wait for marriage" thing, so she wants to make it clear to Steffy that wagging her open for business crotch in Liam's face isn't going to be as effective here, because Liam's already getting laid on the regular? Seriously, though, Ivy, the worst thing you can do is let someone like Steffy see that you're threatened. That's an opening to her. I was beginning to think that Maya's sister was just some mass group hallucination we'd all experienced. At least she does exist. But I have zero interest in the back story of two characters who were not remotely a part of the show or connected to anyone on the show when said back story was a thing. And, I mean, come on, doesn't Rick already know that Maya did time? What the hell else is in her relatively young background that would be a bigger deal breaker than that? -
Because she's an idiot. Tomorrow is going to be an entire episode devoted to Spencer's lingering between life and death, isn't it? What's the Vegas line on whether he sings "My Way"? That preview is amazing, though. I'd like to think that whoever put that together knows what a shitshow this is. Because there is no way in the world that any sane human being put that together on any serious level.

What he needs to say, if he genuinely wants her to stop, is "even if I wasn't with Ivy, things are over with us." Because protesting that he's with Ivy is not, in Steffy's mind, a rejection, it's a challenge. How long has he known her? He knows that "I'm involved with someone else" is basically an aphrodisiac for Steffy, not a stop sign. I liked, during the "everyone but Rick" meeting with Eric, as Eric was trying to find ways to rebuff everyone's complaints about Ric's behavior, when Caroline, clearly in disbelief that they even had to debate whether Ric had lost his mind, said "oh, and there was the time he fired a gun in here!" -
Unspoiled Spec: "$40k, someone long dead is resurrected."
KerleyQ replied to BestestAuntEver's topic in General Hospital
Yeah, I think there are a lot of people who just know what a sick fuck Ron is, so they are trying to imagine the most distasteful story lines possible and throwing them out there so that, if one of them pans out, they can say "see? I told you!" -
GH History Lessons: Because History is Always Repeating Itself
KerleyQ replied to Stinger97's topic in General Hospital
It will forever remain a special kind of "only on GH" stupid that a baby could be taken away from her mother, because Mommy is dating a cop, and given to her father, who worked for the motherfucking mob. There's a lot we are asked to hand wave in soaps, but this one? I just can't.
