When he uptalks he is saying "Does that make sense?" and "Are you following me?" To me, his uptalking comes across as a useful tool rather than an affectation. (If that makes sense, LOL)

Pat Cunnane's book West Winging It sounds like a good read so I ordered it via kindle just now, also Knowing Your Value (because I found out it has name-dropping and quotes and anecdotes). I used to order a lot of books because of authors who guested on MJ; recently, not so many.

Maybe I'm letting my TV opinion color things too much but I got the impression from the All Things At Once book that she is more about checking off boxes than anything else. She got married and had kids when it was "time" to do so but her heart and soul has always been about her career. Joey and MJ came along when she was floundering professionally after 20+ years in her industry, she was halfway to an empty nest and Mr Mika was outliving his usefulness.

The Maddow to O'Donnell handoff went 9 minutes into Lawrence's show. At the end he shared that the last tweet he responded to before his show was one that said "Give Rachel your airtime tonight" so he told Rach "and here we are, glad to oblige, anytime" (paraphrased). Maybe Rach asked all the right questions and that's why she got so many "I can't answer that" or "I can't answer that, well, I can, but I can't."

I could watch a whole hour of Philip line dancing because he is so joyously "in the moment."

Mika was incredibly self-conscious during that interview. Her body language at the beginning, arms crossed at an exaggerated high level? Have we Ever seen that before? She looked like Trump dealing with uncomfortable questions from reporters. Swoony picked up on it too (how could he not!) and rested his hand on the table well beyond his allotted space between him and Mika. Joe is whipped; Mika is not.

Because it appears that Cohen is a fixer like Ray Donovan or Mike Ermantrout and happens to have a law degree. Mika is all wound up. I'm anxious to see if Avenetti "swivels her chair" this morning. (Kudos to our poster who came up with that phrase after his original appearance.)

I watched tonight while I was dusting and folding laundry and it held my interest. (Not meaning to damn with faint praise.) Alex Wagner is always good: I'm usually meh regarding McKinnon. Never liked Halperin, here or anywhere. Hoo boy, my man Heileman was one-on-one with a Russian Kellyanne Conway/Sara Sanders; IIRC she's the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Another Russian woman quite strongly spoke out against her government. I missed her intro so don't know who she is. And Zuckerberg, of course, because of FB's prominence in the events. I was sorta bummed that it was only 30 minutes.

That top which neither fits or flatters is making it look like the right one is trying to cross over the left one. Her necklaces are centered but her cleavage is diagonal. All that money, and she swans around with cross-eyed titties!

What a bunch of vapid freaks. That vid reminds me of the 60s, coming on to acid and realizing a little too late that maybe I should have given a little more thought to where I was and who I was with but it's too late now just hang on and try to enjoy the ride.
