I had actually forgotten about some of these scenes... Arrow: 13 Action Sequences That Totally Blew Our Minds Laura Hurley 20 hours ago http://whatculture.com/tv/arrow-13-action-sequences-that-totally-blew-our-minds.php

Have you seen the new Hawkeye costume tweeted by Jeremy Renner? (Just comparing it to the new Arrow costume.) BTW, he also tweeted new posters for Captain America: Civil War which show who's on which side... https://twitter.com/Renner4Real

From the youmademeafan interview with MG (posted by Velocity23 on page 581 of Spoiler Discussion thread), MG told a fan that: his best guess for when the S4 trailer will come out is Labor Day weekend; and the light between Oliver & Felicity as they kiss was a director choice, and his love for Glenn Winter knows no bounds.
-
That was very interesting, so thanks! Yay for MG recognizing that they haven't done enough to service Diggle's character and saying that this season is Diggle's year. The fan asked if the 5-year arc (with flashbacks and present time) plan was still the same, or if they have had to deviate drastically. MG answered that they have not deviated drastically and if ratings continue to be strong, they will not have to change, but if ratings tank, then they will make changes as needed. This answer kinda confirmed for me that Oliver's story in S3 - with Oliver refusing to get involved with the woman he loved and going off to fight Ra's - was always going to happen but originally with Laurel as his love interest. I also found the Sons of Anarchy comparison interesting: "Lastly, I know that Marc is a big fan of Sons of Anarchy as I am. I compared Jax and Tara’s relationship to Oliver and Felicity. If you’re not familiar with the show, it is a must watch. If so, you’ll be thrilled to know that Marc was in agreement with me that Jax & Tara had a relationship that didn’t interfere with the story telling and Jax remained true to his character. At the end of the day, Jax was still ruthless, badass, and not to be taken lightly; but, his love for his girl was amazing. Marc liked the comparison. So I continued that I thought Arrow has what it takes to continue making Olicity goodness while Arrow maintains its gritty storytelling with no interference. He agreed whole heartedly."

The Walking Dead - Season 6 - Casting Call Posted by Christopher DeBono at Thursday, August 27, 2015 http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/08/the-walking-dead-season-6-casting-call.html -
404 is the fifth episode (airing fifth) and 405 is the fourth episode (airing fourth). The episode numbers are production order codes, not airing order codes. Apparently they had to shoot the fifth episode before the fourth episode for some reason.

I just posted in the Spoilers thread a pic of PB and KC next to the Lazarus Pit and a tweet by PB (posted yesterday) saying that they just wrapped episode 404 (remember, this is actually the 5th episode with Constantine). Also, earlier today James Bamford posted a tweet thanking Matt Ryan, so I think that the Constantine episode is pretty much done. Also, yesterday, SA posted a tweet from on set saying that KC's hair looks like a science experiment - maybe magic wind stirred up by Constantine?

The Clarks vs Camp Dinner Bell: Comparing FTWD and TWD
tv echo replied to HalcyonDays's topic in Fear The Walking Dead
I think the premise of FTWD puts it behind TWD from the get-go, at least for me. Stories about a bunch of strangers who are forced to work together in order to survive have a lot of potential for interest and intrigue and storytelling. These strangers can be from widely different backgrounds, with varying personalities and belief systems. They'll have conflicting loyalties and maybe secret agendas. We'll learn more about each of them, just like they'll learn more about each other, as the series progresses. Eventually the group will pare down to a psuedo-'family' unit, rather than a large bunch of strangers, and this 'created family' will bond together and care for each other. Even if there are mini-family units within the group (like the Grimes), they aren't the only group members. So if a member of the mini-family unit dies (Lori) and the parent falls apart (Rick), the rest of the group is there to support the grievers and pick up the slack in protecting the group. That's TWD. However, on FTWD, the main characters are all already basically part of the same family, albeit a combined family of two parents and their kids. They already know each other. They already care for each other. Despite their dysfunction and conflicts, they're going to stick together and have loyalty to each other. So it's going to be them versus the world. This makes it even more imperative that the audience likes this family unit and wants to root for them. Also if one family member bites the dust, realistically this should devastate the entire family, making them all easier walker bait. Though with this family, the surviving family members will probably just shrug and keep going. Bottom line, FTWD can become boring and tedious much quicker and more easily than TWD. -
Moved.

I think there will be a lot of GA and BC fighting together in S4 (partly to appease the comics fans, partly because the Arrow EPs/writers love comics characters), plus more Oliver and Laurel bonding again as friends. If there's a massively positive fan reception, and if it works "organically" into the story, then I think the EPs will revisit the idea of those two together again in the future. I hope not, because the Oliver & Felicity story has been very organically developed and makes sense in Oliver's hero journey, but "there's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip" - as they say.

Here's my list of some positive things that I liked about S3 (temporarily suspending my disbelief about some of its WTF moments) - in no particular order: SA's and EBR's layered portrayals of Oliver and Felicity, respectively. SA showed even more depth as an actor, and EBR got to show her impressive dramatic chops. Some of the fight sequences were just stunning. For example, the mountaintop duel between Oliver and Ra's was cinematically and beautifully shot. And the TA v. LOA fight was well-choreographed. We finally got a little more back story on Felicity, with her flashback episode and the introduction of her mother. Diggle and Lyla continued to demonstrate what a stable couple looks like and even got married - and we got introduced to the adorably cute baby Sara. I also agree that it was great to see more of Lyla. Diggle got to demonstrate his leadership skills in Oliver's absence and with the Suicide Squad. The crossover episodes with The Flash worked surprisingly well, despite the different tones of the two shows. Oliver's experience complemented Barry's flash (pun intended). Oliver was openly, steadfastly and vulnerably in love with Felicity throughout this entire season, even though he felt that he couldn't be with her. And eventually they got their happy ending. (*) (* Incidentally, the Olicity story in S3 was less soap opera and more romantic cliche - two people in love with each other are not together because the guy feels that he can't be with the girl for some self-imposed reason, but ultimately they overcome that and get a happy ending. Real soap opera involves the sibling back-stabbing, infidelity, lover returning from the dead, and love triangle with best friend of S1 - ahem, sorry, temporary rant.)

I agree with some of Laura Hurley's choices for worst lines (see also suggestions made in notes following her article)... zexyafrosnatcher asks: What is your least favourite line from Arrow season 1, season 2 and season 3?
