  1. This is probably my favorite Closer episode, along with the Terrell Baylor episodes. I loved that in the end Detective Curt Landry proved to be just as smart if not smarter than Brenda. She had all the advantages over him but he ended up getting what he wanted ... the killer back in Texas where we can try him and fry him. Or as we might say in this day and age, "Collect him and inject him"
  2. I didn't think Ghost knew Tommy killed Proctor. Didn't he say something like that "Tommy did it" to Tasha after seeing Tommy's reaction to Ghost telling Benny who ever did it?
  3. 🤣 Tommy and his crew are the comic relief and Tommy remains the MVP. I hope Herc doesn't cancel Christmas on him.
  4. It's funny when I see my Wire guys on the opposite side of the law 😂 Tommie is just extra. He's always been crazy but this feels like crazy x 2. I think part of the reason he riddled that apartment with bullets is because of what Tasha said about not being allowed to be there and she worked to make that place a home. I'm still team Tommie but he has to go down, he has to. I thought Tasha was going to end up on a pole but instead she's going to return to the drug game. Keshia needs to have several seats. I'm looking forward to her going down. This "I'm gonna change for you" Ghost is so cringe worthy. The writing and acting is bad. The Ramona/Ghost/Tate story is 🙄 as well. I think I'm hating watching every Ghost scene 😂 I have a feeling everyone will go down except Damascus Road Ghost. What a pity.
  5. I don’t know how to articulate this other than to say that may have been the worst Power episode I've seen. Tommy is still the MVP but nearly every thing else was so cringeworthy, especially every Ghost scene. I now hate Proctor too. Saxe is making his way there because I think he was OK with Ghost killing the witness as long as he caught him. I really hate that there isn’t one person on the “good” side who wants to bring Ghost down but isn’t obsessive about it to the point where they are setting witnesses up to be killed. Note to Q, run boy run!
  6. She did. So how long before Tommy and Ghost kiss, make up and take Jason out? Tommy remains my MVP and he and Tasha smoking weed and bemoaning their financial situations was gold LOL I continue to hate Ghost and good lord I don't need Naevia falling for him. Where is Crixus when you need him. I officially hate Dre now. Hoping Saxe has him twisting in the wind for as long as possible. I hope you are right! LOL
  7. I was hoping she would stand strong and so disappointed she caved. When she came to Tariq I though oh so this is Ghost & Tasha: The Next Generation. I am enjoying Tommy so much. He needs to go down with the rest but lawd if he don’t make Power enjoyable.
  8. I love everything about this post. Er'thang! Is it really pessimistic of me that even when they unzipped the body bag, I said "She ain't dead"?

    Shaft (2019)

Finally saw this and it was HORRIBLE! Hate that because I enjoyed the first movie.
  10. Born, raised and live in Florida!
  11. Yes Clay did hit the driver. I think both guards were knocked out.
  12. Roller was the one who put the brakes on them leaving pre confession/prison break. She was going to leave without Dean but Roller decided he wouldn't let her do it after seeing her goodbye to Deanie ... I like that he calls Dean that too.
  13. I think he confessed because as he said, he wanted it to end. He didn't want Desna on the run and away from Dean or in prison. Toby may not be a reliable witness but they have physical evidence that puts Roller and Desna with Clint and that is what Roller is afraid of. The physical evidence links Desna to Clint but Roller's story gives reasonable doubt for Desna. One point that confused me though was Desna telling clay that as long as Toby is out there he can testify. What do they need him for if Roller confessed? Watching the prison break again, I don't think Desna killed the guard, only shot him in the shoulder.
  14. Whoa that was ... Where do I start. I really do enjoy all the main characters, even Clay so I was pleased with the finale. Behind Desna and Roller, I love Jenn and Bryce the most. I am glad they have overcome their obstacles and are still together. I like that Bryce chose to tell Jenn the truth instead of protecting Clay, especially given he lied about finding Toby. Polly, Polly, Polly. I wasn't feeling sorry for her when Joe chose his wife (oh the horror in that!). I have mixed feelings about her running to Ken. I'd rather have Ken for Polly but clearly he is a rebound and I feel bad for him because he is so thirsty for Polly that he is willing to take her any way he can get her. Assuming there is a season 4, I'm hoping Polly develops real feelings for him or Ken walks. Poor Dean. Assuming gets you some times. I like that Virginia was honest with him. Roller was right. Clay stay lyin'. I need Desna to find out the truth again and drag Toby back and make him recant. Though Roller confessing might throw a wrinkle in that but if his black ass can survive being burned alive he can survive a murder confession LOL I wasn't expecting that Ann but I guess I should have. Also, Triad guy was slippin'. He just said grief makes people unstable. He thinks Desna isn't all that sharp since she hadn't figured out that he was planning to open more casinos yet he lets Ann get him alone in the office without his phone, He should have at least assumed Ann knew he killed Arlene and by his own logic is unstable. Desna was all kinds of wrong asking Ann to get her brother to meet Triad guy but it did lead to Ann getting revenge so there's that. Having said that, I hope he's dead but won't be surprised if he pulls a Roller. Speaking of, Roller was firing on all cylinders tonight. All.Of.Them! Good grief, Desna and Roller were everything. When they started out with the sexy/loving times, I said, oh lawd! they gon crush my DesnaRoller lovin heart. Breakfast in bed, promised Havana honeymoon, giving her his necklace of protection, turnt up party, taking the fall for Clint so she wouldn't have to leave Dean and be on the run. Desna was right .., You love me Roller!! Yep yep ... I love you Dee. I always have. Desna was right again ... Ride or die! Me and you! Yep yep ... Desna out here pulling prison breaks and shootin' folks because she wasn't about to let Roller go down. Desna gotta get out the game! Maybe with the casino gone she will start over and at some point remember Ruval's other properties, cash them out, franchise Nail Artisans, set Dean up and go have some good food, mango mojitos and Roller. ETA: So did Desna kill that guard or just wound him? Jenn and Virgina are the only ones who haven't murdered anyone right? Though I should include Dean because he was defending Desna when he killed Russian what's-her-name.
  15. I know! The nonchalant attitude in Roller's tone when he asked Desna that had me rolling. And I thought it was sweet and hilarious that seconds after he said he wasn't going back to prison (for murder) he's ready to commit murder again. Another little funny moment was when Roller and Dean were talking. Dean starts out saying he isn't in the mood to converse yet proceeds to converse LOL. I really enjoyed Desna and Ann's last scene in the shop. It may have been my favorite moment of the episode.
  16. That is what I want to know. I kept thinking Toby wasn't by himself. I do wonder if Clint was the driver. I'm also wondering now if Toby outted Roller to get back at Desna. He didn't like Desna "disrespecting" Clay when she told he it would be 3 grand to use her license.
  17. Duane Beverly Husser. That is all ... 🤣 I am glad Dean finally knows or rather has accepted the truth about Melba and Mac. I also liked that he talked Desna out of killing Melba. I really love their relationship. I was also happy to see Dean and Roller talking and Roller encouraging him to go get Virginia back. And Roller is too much. He was right when he told Polly that roughnecks outcha. This roughneck outcha ready to catch another 1st degree murder case for his lady 🤣 I met season 3 Roller before going back and meeting season 1 episode 1 Roller. Man his black ass has changed. 🤣 I loved the group fight. They were saying some hard truths and pointing fingers but I didn't doubt one second that their relationship was still on solid ground. And the beginning when the ladies were in bed with Ann ... that's what true friendship looks like. I just hate Polly wasn't there. I have no words for Toby. NONE! And Clay, oh gawd I should have know his "redemption" wouldn't last. I do wonder if his pointing the finger at Clint for shooting at Desna was his way of literally getting rid of him. He promised Clint a piece of the pie and used Roller to do it. With all the secrets coming out in this episode, I wonder if Roller will ever find out it was Toby who shot at Desna. Bryce is clearly not happy with Clay's lying to Roller and I wonder if something is going to come of that. Polly is very casual telling folks she killed the governor. But for his wife, she and Joe might be the perfect match. Another fun episode.
  18. Yes that heist was great. My question is why doesn't Desna have a nest egg. She asked if Clay had one. The doctor had the casino but he also had a race track, convention center and at least 1 other property. So what happened to those? Desna was his next of kin so why doesn't she have those properties as well?
  19. I thought Roller was going to break ranks and choke out the guy and said Stay in character Roller. Stay.In.Character! 😂 I felt bad for Melba too and think she might snap and go after the Triad guy and get herself killed. I didn’t start watching this show till literally last Sunday when I had the tv on TNT and muted while watching something in my laptop. Desna and Roller caught my eye and I scrambled and found clips on YouTube then watched episodes on demand. This show is crazy but fun and I like all the main characters which is a plus for me.
  20. Are you my long lost twin?? If I didn't know better, I'd swear I wrote this LOL
  21. The idea of killing Reese didn't come up in the first movie because it was stated that the only thing Skynet knew was John's mother's name. Back to regular programming 😄
  22. The talk about Jon proving his claim made me think what proof did Dany have of her claim? As far as the people in Westeros were concerned why would they believe her claim any more or less than they would believe Jon's claim?
  23. This was my gripe every time I saw a post saying Dany freed the Unsullied. ”Freeing” them without giving them a serious chance to choose something other than her simply meant they traded one master for another one.
  24. She, the Unsullied and Dothraki helped save the world from the NK. They didn’t do it by themselves and it was Arya’s weapon not Dany’s that took down the NK. Now on to Sansa. I’m watching the finale again and the Sansa/Edmure scene is even more funny than it was originally.
