This episode has finally put me in the I can't stand Michael camp. Stabbing his judge friend in the back (did I hear correctly that she could be charged with a felony?!) while playing the race card (they stopped her because she's black and got lucky). Ugh! Then add onto that his antics to get Carlos off for murdering Kofi. Then strong arming the juror to get her thrown off the jury.

Yes Grace is my favorite. Grace, Judd, Gina Torres, Rob Lowe, RL's son, gorgeous young lady with the hidden gorgeous hair, the black firefighter, the firefighter who is not RL's son, the paramedic with the eyelashes, the paramedic who died 😟, RL's call girl turned ex wife. I'm bad with names 😂

At least a helicopter didn't drop out of the sky and fall on Gallant 😂 The volcanic bombs freaked me out. I was literally holding my chest after the first guy got hit, then the paramedic.

I’m on season 5 now and have concluded that Tim Riggins overstayed his welcome by 3 seasons 😂 I grew to like Becky and was happy that she and Luke ended up together. Knowing this and watching season 4 now makes Tim Riggins’ presence, which was entirely too much for me, even more irritating. I really wish Luke was in Becky’s story beyond the pregnancy. Instead we got Tim Riggins in it because, well I have no glue why he needed to be in Becky’s to the extent he was. A lot of that time could have been used to build Becky and Luke’s relationship. Smash’s exit is probably my favorite of the original kids and while I missed him, he was out of HS and it was time to say goodbye. When Matt, who was my favorite, left I was still satisfied because again he was out of HS and it was time to say goodbye. But Tim Riggins, good lord he would not leave! It may not sound like it but I liked Tim Riggins. I was happy with his ending. I just wish there was a lot less of him after season 2 (I still hold to Tim, Lyla and Tyra should have been gone after season 1 😂). And to be fair, Landry should have been gone after season 3 and Julie too. They should have graduated with Matt and time could have been spent on the new kids. Now I’m off to continue season 5.

Season 2 here we go. Slimeball Swede uck! uck! uck! Murdering Landry uck! Statutory Raping Carlotta uck! uck! uck!

I'm doing a rewatch now. Still in season 1 but I keep thinking this show still has my heart. I miss these characters and I can honestly say I loved the show from beginning to the end. I still shake my head though at the idea that I'm suppose to believe Tim, Tyra and Lyla were Julie's age (Tami flat out says she's a sophomore/15, though yeah they retconned that later and suddenly she's a year behind Matt). I liked the new characters in season 4 and still wish we could have met them earlier instead of wasting time on Tim, Tyra and Lyla. They should have been gone or at least out of high school! LOL Lyla was my least favorite and I think it was mostly due to the actress but the one story I enjoyed was It's Different for Girls. I really liked Lyla in that episode but I could do without every other Lyla story in the series LOL OK let me get back to season 1 before I start rambling even more.

Am I correct in thinking Michael set Judge LeBlanc up? Isn't she the one who got Carlo's case? Michael invites her out to drink, saying how he and his wife came there on their birthday and would drink from the top shelf (or however he phrased it). I got the impression he and his wife would get drunk or at the very least drink to the point where they were over the legal limit to drive. We saw Michael order another for both of them so I can believe Judge LeBlanc was over the legal limit. I'm not convinced she was stopped because she's black. I think its possible Baxter's guy on the force had a hand in LeBlanc getting stopped. I didn't like the scene at all and thought it was very heavy handed. I know Michael is making things up as he goes but I wonder if we will see him realize that if he gets Carlo off, Baxter has no more need for him and will kill him anyway.

I think the issue is this is personal for Jimmy not business and that's why he personally killed Trevor and would have killed Michael and Adam if the chips fell accordingly. I don't think it's much different from what Michael is doing. He's personally getting dirty to cover for Adam and Jimmy is doing it to get revenge Rocco.

It's my UO too. I thought MBJ was the only weak link in the movie. When I started watching the movie again I remember telling a group of friends that MBJ almost ruins the movie for me LOL

For me, I agree no other actor can replace Chadwick's T'Challa. However, I do believe that another actor can successfully create their own T'Challa, that their T'Challa can be on par with Chadwick's T'Challa. Someone mentioned Spartacus. I loved Andy Whitfield's Spartacus. I also loved Liam McIntyre's Spartacus. I never felt like Liam was replacing Andy but that Liam created his own Spartacus and did an amazing job. I understand that some fans may not accept a recast. I just don't think a recast = terrible idea/failure.

I purposely avoid watching those 😂. I use to watch them when the show started but gradually stopped and now with Book II, no way no how LOL If I did watch them now I'd be like

I don't even think it's that. The writers don't have the talent or don't want to make the effort to avoid dumbing down a character to make their plot work. As for this specific instance, how did Tariq know Saxe had Riley drug him? Did I miss it or is Tariq assuming? Also I didn't understand why Saxe didn't just deny it.

I said the same thing!!! Say it again. I really hope these writers don't take themselves and this show seriously. You have 2 professors conducting interviews for a police matter? I thought Tasha and Saxe were dead when they were in the car together. Thought Tommy's Cancel Christmas bomb was about to go off LOL I got distracted during the Tariq/Tommy/Monet scene. Why didn't they kill Tommy since he said he was still going after Tasha? And Tommy is still crazy lol I like the idea of Saxe working for Davis. I do find them hilarious. And don't get me started on the entire Tariq testimony and the in the Judge's chambers scene. Talk about eye rolling.

This show. Does this university only have 3 professors? Why do Simmons, Carrie and Jabari get the "honor" of being called to the principal's office to be talked to by the police? So Carrie is a lawyer. Is this the first time we are hearing this? And what in the world? Carrie is trusting Zeke with her career? That entire scene was so cringeworthy. No Tariq, Tasha doesn't deserve to be in jail for the murder of Ghost, you do. But how can you act indignant with a straight face knowing Tasha murdered Kesha? The hypocrisy's stench is strong here. Not sorry but I hate it when a show wants to talk about police being unjust for looking at black people for a crime when like in this case, IT WAS a black person who committed the crime. Jabari, isn't Tariq one of your elite students? MJB on it with Carrie LOL I give her a pass on that bad acting for about 5 minutes LOL So did Tasha just play herself by having Tariq get rid of Epiphany. Oh Saxe you just made a mistake, a good faith one but one none the less. Davis is going to get you. Hopefully side piece #2 will wake up and stop sleeping with Davis. Hopefully this show won't glamourize adultery this time. Shoot him Monet! SHOOT HIM!!! Shut up Diana. Shut up Drew. Oh Tariq, you falling on your sword? I just binged the show and glad I did (Watched episode 1 when it aired but didn't continue). I'm reading the episode threads and have to disagree here. Jimmy McNulty is good po-lice but Drake? He is from the school of Cool Lester Smooth Freamon. Drake is natural po-lice 😂

I was nearly hyperventilating over Kofi and just knew he was going to be killed. I'm on the edge of my seat for next week. I thought it was a little too convenient that Michael was able to delete the video of Adam at the gas station. I also wasn't buying notClayDavis total outrage at Michael. He was asked to get rid of the car no questions asked and he doesn't even think he's getting involved with something shady?

He told the one guy that Monet was replacing them with Tariq. I guess Tariq is the competition Cane needs to get rid of. And painted face guy had one job! ONE! ugh! Tariq and his bad acting still lives 😂 I do not get why Carrie would get involved with a student. It's wrong and she knows it plus she could not foresee Zeke not understanding or caring about boundaries? 2-Bit and Spanky's mom did have me laughing though. 2-Bit is a dirty dog 😂
