I stopped watching SVU some years ago but I thought oh they're still doing the preaching and its still forced.

I was almost in physical pain seeing Dickie. I kept saying "Why didn't they make him shave!!" Bobby Donnell is still a creep!! lol

This is what I liked about Eliot and why I was so very happy to see he and Kathy were still married. Even though they weren't on display, I do believe they were "in love" and their love is what I would call a mature love. We found out they knew each other since they were 13 and 14. They build a life together. Yes they had their problems but neither one quit and I like that and it's one of the reasons I think they were "in love".

I stopped watching SVU before Eliot left the show and decided to check back in because I like police dramas and I am still an L & O original fan. Yikes, I really hadn't missed anything good since quitting SVU. What is up with Olivia? I mean she sounds different and she was always draped in a coat. It probably doesn't help that I started my rewatch of SVU from the beginning on Peacock but Olivia felt weird to me. And Ice T is still a horrible actor (calling him an actor is being very generous lol). I didn't know that people wanted Olivia and Eliot to be a couple until recently but how gross! I ff their scenes when they were being "intimate'. Again gross! Even though Kathy was a very minor character, I always liked her and was glad that she and Eliot were still married and happy. I was excited to see the kids but lord I wish Dicky had shaved lol. I wanted to see the face of that little cutie pie I met in season 1. Goodbye Kathy and SVU. Hello Organized Crime.

Agree about Brianna. Surprisingly I didn't hate Delonda and I'm sure why but my #1 hated The Wire character is Stringer Bell. I could not STAND him!

Brianna Barksdale your son is a drug dealer and murderer. He needs to be dragged off in the back of a police car! I laughed when I realized The Wire's Monk is Franklin's bodyguard. I pretty much agree with this and will add I thought the Kevin working to save the cop was just as much a cop out. I wouldn't expect him to jump for joy but he seemed quite frantic to save the guy and I just didn't buy it. So if Kevin can't trust his good friend Adam because he's white and may not know "it" is in him, how can he trust anyone in his squad? Why not go into another line of work? Do you think Ruzek is a problem, could be "next", because he's white or because he's a hothead?

I side eyed the fact that once Grace could not find the rig, the police were not called in. I don't know if that is how it works IRL, but it seemed strange that a fireman and suspended cop were left to search for the rig.

I hope you are wrong. I am binging the show (started 2 days ago) and I'm half way through season 3. From the very first episode I hated Leon and now I hate Franklin as much if not more. I need them to Stringer Bell his behind. One of the things that really ignited my full on hate for Franklin was when he was telling Andre that they had a noose around his neck and he's just a monkey to them (or however he phrased it) in regards to Andre being a cop. The gall of Franklin to say in so many words that Andre, who is trying to protect his community, the black folks, is basically an "Uncle Tom" when he said his own community, the black folks, is his target for selling crack to. Miss me with looking down on a black cop when you doing the "white man's" bidding by ushering in the destruction of your own community. Oh and when dad told Franklin he couldn't kill cops because of the retribution that would be rained down on black people my goodness! What a wasted argument on Franklin. Geez I can't stand Franklin! LOL ETA: I am caught up and watching the latest episode. What is the deal with Scully and the ear drops? What is that?

Yes the baseball was Adam's but the way I understood it, Lee and Eugene thought it was Kofi's. I thought it would link back to Adam too but alas.

Adam was so idiotic that I don’t want to even try to make sense of him and his nonsense. Desire. I think Baxter’s cop had a hand in Kofi pleading guilty. I don’t remember if there was any contact between the cop Desire worked for (the one Charlie contacted about getting rid of the car). But if I am remembering correctly Baxter told his cop he wanted who did this. Once Kofi was arrested and tied to the hit and run by way of the car, Baxter’s cop may have gotten the other cop to get Desire to make Kofi take the fall. Case solved. Baxter is happy. I don’t think Kofi had any value to Desire to begin with let alone compared to having a cop on the take. Losing Kofi meant nothing to Desire. I don’t think Desire knew who Charlie was so they had no reason to look for him over someone they didn’t place any value on anyway. I don't think Desire confronted Baxter for the sake of Kofi. I think it was done as a way to get a new loyal soldier in Eugene and to have an excuse to war with the competition. These are my guesses anyway.

Yikes! I felt so uncomfortable. My level of second hand embarrassment was high during Grace's father's scenes. He didn't seem to have any shame and all he did was make excuses. I'm betting this wasn't the first and won't be the last time he's cheated. It was interesting the learn that Judd's dad cheated too. I was surprised that it was Tommy who we first see noticing Judd isn't acting right and I actually said how is Grace missing this. But I was glad that we find out later that she did miss the way Judd was acting. Maybe her concern over her father pushed Judd's behavior to the side. I liked seeing Judd's struggle with what he discovered and was glad he articulated why he was having difficultly. When he came to the 9 1 1 center I thought really Judd, you're going to tell Grace while she's at work? But then he just couldn't do it. And Grace, when she finally acknowledged Judd's behavior to herself and discovered the truth boy that was sad. I just knew she was going to tell her mom and mom was going to admit that she knew Mr. Williams was cheating on her. But alas Grace just couldn't do it. I'm glad Judd was finally going to tell Grace and that she was able to tell him she appreciated why he hadn't told her. She couldn't tell her mom. She didn't confront her dad and she wasn't ready to talk to her husband. Oh Gracie, it's going to get better I promise. The 9 1 1 call didn't end the way I expected. I initially thought the young lady would get her distance from the guy but when she jumped off her balcony I thought she's not going to kill herself! Then I immediately thought she would land in a pool but surprise! The rescue team were waiting with that ... what is that thing called? A bouncer maybe?

I didn't get the impression Lee was telling Eugene to kill anyone. That money was from the sale of the baseball Kofi had. When she told him to get all he could, I thought she was saying this is rightfully yours so take it. I'm with those who found the ending very unsatisfying. I had high hopes for this show and it went left quickly but I did want to see how it ended. Can I now get my 10 hours back 😂

D'angelo Barksdale! It was good seeing you lol I really enjoyed this episode. I was glued to the tv from start to finish. I liked all of the twists, even the fact that the big bad guy was innocent of the murder. I especially liked that the son was indeed a good kid and that he was working behind his father's back in order to buy an air conditioner for him. The ending was great because I did think Jay was going to let Latrell go but he ends up arresting him. He didn't cross the line and he's going to let the system handle it and knows that they don't have enough to convict Latrell. I hope Latrell calls Maury Levy though. He got him off once and he can do it again LOL

As someone who just got a smart phone a few months ago and who has no interest in setting up Siri, Alexa or any other voice activation thingy, that would explain my confusion 😂

Grace and her 9 1 1 call for the win. The thing that confused me though was how did the guy call 9 1 1? The phone was on the table and I didn't think he could reach it let alone make a call. I did like Marjan's story and the twists. But ... I didn't get her comment about not honoring a commitment. She went to her friend's hotel knowing he was willing to break his commitment to her but yet told him how she felt in hopes of getting back together. Then she does a 180 and now the fact that he is willing to break his commitment is a problem. Me too. I bet he would be so uncomfortable considering he didn't want to hear about Robe Lowe and his call girl turned ex wife's amazing sex😄

I thought I had zoned out and missed that scene. So was the wife having an affair with one of the Desire members? Didn't the cop have photos of them but the one guy she didn't know/couldn't ID?

I think Michael is still afraid for Adam considering the Baxters killed Kofi's entire family despite the fact that he was in jail for killing Rocco. I wondered this the moment Michael made the deal to get Carlos off. Yes Michael was in a tight spot and said whatever he thought he needed to say but my guess is he knows that he and Adam won't be safe either way it goes.

Watching Patriot Games and it's very disheartening seeing Ned Stark trying to kill Jack Ryan and Nick Fury!

This is where the movie lost me too. I love my crime dramas and I also love closure. I didn't get it here so I'm not sure I will watch it again.
