  1. I just finished binging all 5 seasons and I’m ready to go at it again. Glad to see there will be a movie. One of my favorite things about the series was the humor. It felt quite natural instead of forced. One last random thought. I could not stand Queen/Queen mother (cleary I haven’t gotten the names down yet). I really couldn’t stand her when Alfred was alive but by the last episode I had a small soft spot for her. I watched season 1 when it came out but didn’t stick with it. I am so glad I decided to start this series over when I heard this was the last season.
  2. Crimesteads 😂 But seriously, why did you all let me watch that
  3. I just watched this episode this morning and it may be my all time favorite Cold Case because of the music. Man this episode took me back. Good times, good times!
  4. Yep. These CPD criminals need to go to the school of Snoop and Chris at Baltimore by way of The Wire lol. There is a scene when they are "training" the new guys and they make a point of talking about a head shot because the person might be vested up.
  5. That's how it came across to me too. I expected some sense of urgency from Kevin at least given his relationship with Kim. Maybe it was the writing, directing and/or acting. Just last episode, they saw Hank not doing what he does and presumably the Chief's son was murdered because they were "doing this the right way". Was any of that going through Kevin and Jay's minds? Did they pause even for a second and say Kim could die while we're doing it the right way? Even with them sticking to their guns, it would have been nice to see them pausing for a moment because it was one of their own and a close friend/partner.
  6. I did like seeing them low key make up. LOL So very happy it was Kevin calling Adam. Exactly!!!
  7. I said now that's how you do it. The guy came in, shot the other guy then Kim. No long drawn out conversation. Come in, do the deed and move along. I didn't think Kim was dead since she wasn't shot center mass. I initially thought she had a vest underneath her shirt but then comes the blood so I had to accept she was shot. I loved seeing Kim fight but it was brutal seeing her get beat down the way she did. I also loved that she played a major role in her rescue. She pulls herself over to the guy to get his phone, only to find it broken. Then she gets the key to uncuff herself, drag her limp body to the car, pulls herself inside the car and turns on the hazard light. Go Kim!! When Adam and Kevin were arguing and started fighting I said you idiots, you are wasting time!! I liked that Haley finally talked Adam down but it should have been Kevin! Kevin should have been the one to get through to Adam and hammer home the point that he wasn't in the right state of mind and that he needed to think of Makayla because you can't tell me that Haley knew that Adam was "backup" guardian to Makayla and Kevin didn't. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN KEVIN!!! OK, I will move on LOL @LittleIggy I wonder why Hank was burning the body too.. Maybe, in the event someone finds the body, he was trying to get rid of any DNA? Now that I said that, is that what got Olinsky caught up and tied him to the body of the guy Hank murdered?
  8. That too. I really hope they begin to incorporate cop stories otherwise I can see Carlos becoming Major Crimes Rusty level hate for me lol
  9. I wish they would give him cop stories because it's feeling like he's shoehorned in just because. Also the idea that Tommy would leave her children with someone we haven't seen her develop a relationship with had me rolling my eyes. It's like this episode of Fraser where he met this woman and was going on a first date with her. She gets called into work and she asks Frazer, a man she just met to watch her daughter. Overall I enjoyed the finale. I was glad to see Mateo being able to handle the crisis. Grace's call creep me out so I was very happy that the caller was able to dig herself out.
  10. I just caught up with season 2. I have enjoyed the show but episode 6 had me saying really show? So Bumpy is the reason Goodman, Chaney and Schwerner were found? Really? Also, the show doesn’t seem to miss the chance to tell the audience how black people are oppressed by white police yet Bumpy threatens the while policeman’s family and he doesn’t get payback for that? That was so weird to me.
  11. Totally agree. Can someone tell me what was up with Atwater’s attitude? When his brother was caught up didn’t he get special treatment? I am at a loss as to why he had a stick up his butt. Miller wasn’t asking for special treatment. She wanted things done above board so again what was Atwater’s problem? And Kim. You’re sitting there with the window down?! Really?
  12. They called them Ms Grace and Mr Judd
  13. I'm Southern too 🙂 Sorry if I was not clear. I don't like it when kids call adults by their first name without putting a Ms/Mr on it LOL I'm really old school. When I was growing up, we called adults by their last name. When I was in my mid to late 20's, one of my college professors came to work for the same agency I was working for. We actually worked together but I could not bring myself to call her my her first name. I still called her Mrs Stockland LOL
  14. Rob Lowe being the logical choice or not, it still grated LOL When he strutted up to the SWAT team I thought here we go. He's the only one who can save the day and stop SWAT.
  15. Why show WHY????????????? This was a very good episode except for ... ugh!! WHY?????!!!! I wondered if the guy's son would come out of the coma and he did and that was finally the breaking point for Tommie. GT was excellent. I like that they didn't have any sound, only Tommie's silent anguish. I wonder if they will show her telling the twins. Man this was so sad especially given Tommie reaching out and helping the dad in the mist of her own tragedy. One nitpick. Why did RL have to be shoehorned in LOL I was pleasantly surprised hearing the twins calling Grace and Judd Ms/Mr (can't stand hearing kids calling adults by their first names) but I found it odd as well. These are their godparents. My godkids call me Godmama and that is what I was expecting from the twins.
  16. I was looking forward to this despite the fact that I think MBJ is a bad actor. I was disappointed because I knew the second Guy Pierce showed up he was the bad guy. The storyline and flow felt meh and I wasn’t excited about the action scenes like I usually am. If they have more of these movies I hope the writing is appealing to me because I really like these types of movies.
  17. The way I took this was Grace definitely buys into the "God helps those who help themselves" (and so glad Judd pointed out that is not in the bible). She may have missed out on her angels because she thought she would be like the man at the pool of Bethesda who was lame for 38 years. When Jesus told him to "Rise, take up your bed and walk”, he immediately took up his bed, and walked. Maybe Grace wanted her "pool of Bethesda" moment instead of relying on angels.
  18. Did I hear correctly? Grace was in the back seat for 6 hours??? Gracie is a stubborn little thing. Not wanting to call Judd while he was on duty? OK so why not call Mom and Dad who were itching to help? Gracie, Gracie, Gracie I'm glad she asked for help at the end but I want to know if she told Judd about those 6 hours!! 😂
  19. What do you mean? They skipped over Judd losing his entire squad? I didn't think it needed to be mentioned since we already went through Judd losing his squad and we saw him coming to terms with that loss.
  20. Lordy!! I hope your call is right!! Bless it. Grace and Judd are so good together. It wasn't surprising but that doesn't diminish how much I loved her telling him it was time and him refusing to leave her in the water. And how happy was I that mamaGrace, daddyGrace and daddyJudd were there. Initially I thought they were just going to forget about the parents so I was even more happy to see them. Yikes! So Judd is, partially at least responsible for the death of his friend. And then he lost all of his firefighter brothers. The survivor's guilt must be high. And if he had lost Grace!!! I liked that we were given plausible reasons why Grace would make it (the water was cold). I also liked that they made the point that Grace didn't stay in Austin for Judd but because she found herself while volunteering at the prayer line and knew that leaving for school (I forgot which university she got into) was driven by her father and not her. So Judd was about to run into the tree to presumably kill himself and that's how he met Grace. Judd should be ashamed of himself though, courtin' over the prayer line. It was too funny when he'd call and hang up if Grace didn't answer the call. Yes Judd you were a little creepy and I'm glad you acknowledged that when you told Charles you were looking to move to follow Grace. I loved that Judd lost touch with Grace so that they could meet in person because he recognized her voice. And I loved her "you're so tall" lol So daddyGrace didn't want her marrying blue collar huh? Nice twist there. I did think Judd was going to propose anyway but instead he lies about loving Grace because he wants the best for her. I assumed Grace and Tommy knew each other first but it looks like Judd knew Tommie and Charles then Grace, thanks to Tommy, was added to the group. When the doctor came into the room and started talking I said 'she's gonna be pregnant'. Predictable but I don't care! LOL Needless to say, this is my favorite episode because Grace and Judd lol
  21. That is what my FF button is for 😂 I liked their interaction as well. Yeah they should have just let the guy escape or at least not shown the guy with a gun. For the life of me I don't know why they didn't just kill Elliot.
  22. LOL I don't think all the kids were in Rome, only the youngest. When Elliot went back to his place, all 5 kids were there. Eli explained to his brother and sisters why he didn't come to NY with their parents. Also, Maureen I think asked when they were returning to Italy and I thought she was talking about Elliot and Eli.
  23. They live happily ever after until the kids find out he married her (and in the process forgot all about them and parades around like he's Olivia's kid's dad). They kill Olivia, Elliot has no idea who did it because it was the perfect murder, He's left alone with no one and that's the end of SVU lol
