  1. My interest has waned with this show. Not to say that I don't like it, but I'm not chomping at the bit until I can watch the next episode. Maybe it's because as someone else posted upthread, the writers are pulling stories from the comics and I can't really enjoy it because it all seems so cobbled and has stuff that doesn't make sense. That is if you've read the comics, you know what's going on and are enjoying it. But for me? Who has never read them? Even with the first show in '92, the writes wrote that show so even non-comic readers could enjoy it and know what was going on, if that makes sense. So I'll just wait until all the rest of this season's episodes have aired and then watch them later. At this point, all I care about is bringing Remy back. Because I refuse to watch a show where he's DEAD. Hell, they brought Jean back to life on the original. I have NO DESIRE to revisit the Dark Phoenix saga again. And I hope that these writers remember or they can go back and watch the series finale from '97-that Xavier "died" and was taken to Shi'ar because that world had the capability to heal him, and not that he went a galaxy hopping to become consort to Lilandra.
  2. So another thing about Divine Evil. As much as I love Clare, I didn't agree that she had a right to know what was going on with Lisa (woman who escaped the raping satanists and who Clare thought she'd run over) or that Cam HAD to tell her or let her see Lisa.
  3. The arguments are in the ruling. I haven't read it all, but based on the articles I've read, the appeals court stated that the trial judge shouldn't have even allowed the testimony of the victims who weren't part of this case; thus there wouldn't have been a "can't unring the bell" argument. Here's hoping that when he's retried (I read the DA plans on retrying the case), he'll still get convicted.
  4. IF Kristina loses the baby, I hope that TJ is responsible so that he WON'T be able to blame her; it will be because of HIM. Let him be the target for once.
  5. No, you're not. It was stated she's due in August.
  6. AMEN SISTAH! Charlie's Angels did the same thing, and theirs was set in the backwoods of California!!!
  7. Me either. I also found an article in the L.A. Times with the creator and author of the book this series was based on from March, and it seems that Mary's testimony was a combination of hers with two other teenagers; so then why the tag at the end that her testimony is available to read at the Archives? And that the theatre they used was set in Philadelphia, because the one here wasn't available for them to use. Seward's attack had left his face disfigured in real life. But yes, I agree about Willie and Tad.
  8. It really wasn't. It was fun because we got to snark on shows and I made some good online friends. Plus the wonderful snarky recappers. Omar who recapped Smallville for most of its run; and Jacob. No rules, you get chaos.
  9. I've noticed the same thing happening!
  10. Yup. She got it from Kay Howard. And Pembleton was also a woman, and you got it-because of the character from the same show.
  11. I lurked on TWoP for years before starting to post and Howard was one of the mods I pm'd with and who explained to me what "boards on boards" meant, so I wouldn't violate that rule. I never had a problem with her. I can't remember who it was that told everyone that there was another forum, created by the same guy who had created TWoP (Glark/David), had going, and I know a bunch of us came swarming in to Previously TV! But I really miss TWoP.
  12. Howard was a she. And what she meant was we couldn't talk about other boards on TWoP. 2014 was when it shut down. I remember all of us coming here around March 2014; and TWoP finally shuttering in May.
  13. I just started my umpteenth re-read of Divine Evil, and each time, it scares the bejesus outta me! While Jane Rafferty Stokey isn't the worst mother (like Maeve, Gloria or that BITCH Grandma Byden), I don't like her very much and don't have much sympathy for her because she rejected Cameron to "stand by" her second abusing, philandering, raping husband. Yeah, yeah, she lived during a time when wives put up with that shit. I don't care. It wasn't until she found Biff's Satanic materials that her eyes were opened. But I really, really, really love Cameron Rafferty. And I really love the relationship between him and Clare.
  14. I think he wanted more money and Wolf fired him. But then hired him again for Criminal Intent. Also the movie that never happened-Noth co-wrote. So they must have made up by then.
  15. I guess I'm just confused. I thought being Bi-Polar was extreme moods, that swerved from manic behavior to lows? How Mooby is acting, with Valentin having messing with his meds-is more paranoid and delusional, which, in TV Land* I've been shown were symptoms of those who suffer from schizophrenia? But it appears that Show is treating them as if they are interchangeable? *Law & Order is how this was laid out to viewers.
  16. Awww, was the awful Gas Man being a big old MEANIE to the SheBeast? That she needed BIG STRONG JASON to convince him to shorten the stoppage to just one day? And oh, look! Instead of no-blinking, deadpan, threatening hitman Jason, we get a courteous and polite one. And Big Old Meanie changes his mind. Cujo probably trashed the notices, because that would be SO LIKE HER. GAG ME with her tears over a stupid TATTOO! I get that I'm supposed to be happy that Anna has finally seen the light as to Mooby. But can she just FUCKING STOP with the WATERWORKS? First with Laura; then with Fucking MiniSheBEAST! And AGAIN with Molly!!! I really hate to agree with the miniSheBeast, but she was right in one thing-Anna is hiring Dex as a cop to protect his ass from Mooby, and use him to get Mooby. Not because she thinks he's good cop material. And heads up, Anna. It's not YOUR JOB or YOUR CALL to tell Molly who she can or cannot prosecute. Good Lord. What 14 year-old drinks coffee? I know I was supposed to think how sweet and funny that scene with Danny and Kristina was, but it just made me roll my eyes. Yes, Danny-I-wanna-just-see-and-visit-with-my-cool-dad-Morgan, the way to do that is to sneak up the fire escape and into his room, instead of openly going to see him. Oh right. Don't want Mom to find out. And trying on Jason's jacket? Jeebus Cripes. Glad that this supposed friendship between Ava and Nina is also done. And sorry, but I was there, Ava DID tell Nina she should report Cujo to the SEC; then later said she shouldn't. It wasn't some hypothetical thing. But yes, Nina was wilfully ignorant about who Mooby is. And lookit Cujo jumping and squealing like a tween at having her hotel back. I had to cover my ears when Olivia joined in the screaming.
  17. Well, after reading up on Davis in Wiki (I think I need to find another source as well), there was a statement that he had been "incriminated" in the assassination plot against Lincoln. I looked at the footnote, which appeared to be a book released in 1977? The biblio on wiki is confusing to say the least. But nowhere did it state that he was actually charged-so we know the testimony of Conovar/Wallace/whatever, was all made up for "creative license/drama" unlike Mary Simms' testimony, which at the tag stated her testimony transcript is in the National Archives? So I can at least go there and read it! So before I totally eat crow, I want to confirm if the incrimination was that book's author's speculation, or if there is proof/charges that Jefferson Davis was incriminated. All I've found was that he was caught in Irwinville, draped in a shawl, which led to mocking him as wearing women's (or his wife's) clothes. ETA: Well it seems that Davis was incriminated and that since there wasn't enough to charge him, the other choice was to charge him with treason. At least, according to the article here in this link. So I guess, it wasn't all made up then, about Davis.
  18. This is something new I've noticed. When on this site using my mobile, when I click to see what comment a fellow poster reacted to, it takes me to the top of the most recent page of the topic. When I go on my PC and check, it takes me to the comment and their reaction. This has been happening for a week now. I never had a problem with clicking the notification and having it take me to the comment in reacted to before. My phone is updated to the latest iOS; iPhone 15/Safari
  19. Working, so please, pretty pretty please-what did they stick a fork in? I may have no use for Jason post-accident and break up with Robin, but Jason Quartermaine had more layers than this Danny does. And not only did Sam not know Jason Q., but she wasn't even on the show when his head met the tree! Mulcahey and Korte KNOW this.
  20. Yes. He and others considered it a demotion, because it wasn't in the city proper-Manhattan. Personally, I thought it was ridiculous that Mike was sent there for 10 YEARS for popping a local councilman. And that all of a sudden, he was THE cop, oh, yeah, along with Goren, that PP1 had been trying for YEARS to get rid of, but couldn't. Such BULLSHIT.
  21. Oh yeah. Though by the time he got his own series, Trapper John, M.D., played by Pernell Roberts, I think he was divorced. And years later, Timothy Busfield showed up as his son-also a doctor. I didn't realize that he was the same Trapper from M.A.S.H. though. I was all about Gonzo.
  22. This pissed me off so much. This isn't The Crown, for fuck's sake. So they needed to dirty up Stanton as well, eh? Showing him destroying what, I can only assume is exculpatory evidence against Booth? Or changing that Booth's family did identify his body? Sure, there are rumors abounding it was a fake Booth that was killed, and another claiming to be him, blah, blah, blah. So of course I'm going to go down that rabbit hole to see if I can find out more-credible-not gossip or rumors. If I can. But I think there is enough to cull through to give a good show without these made up changes. And yet, no shock at Weichman's confession that he was a homosexual and Surrat's lover, or any kind of action taken against him. I mean, this is the 19th Century in the United States. Interesting that in my looking to find out and compare it to this, that the wiki page at least, did not mention that Stanton had barricaded himself inside his office for three months to oppose Johnson's unconstitutional appointment of another Secretary of War. I'm ambivalent as to whether I want to watch Franklin next or not. I won't lie-I fast forwarded the whining blathering of Booth while he and Herold were on the run to Richmond.
