Because he's half of Firestorm. I really do think this was just supposed to be a masked superhero vs. villain thing, that's why Diggle wasn't there.

Well, if they shot this over the weekend of the TCAs, she wouldn't have had a mask at that point.

She got fitted for something, but no way would they spoil that in a promo like this.

Honestly, I don't even care that Laurel beat Malcolm. He was double teamed and Roy put in his fair share of work, and Laurel stumbling wouldn't have fit the effect they were going for and REALLY wouldn't have looked good considering she is the ONLY WOMAN IN THE THING besides the FANGIRL WOMAN IN THE ELEVATOR deep breaths deep breaths deep breaths

Yeah, that would've been a good way to get them in there. They could've been spectators or the scorekeepers. This exclusionist BS really pisses me off.

It's Oliver taking Barry to a "fight club" where there's a cage in the middle of a dark room. Laurel and Roy go after Malcolm, Oliver goes up against Ra's, Barry goes up against the Flash villains and then the villains take the elevator down while the heroes (only the ones with masks on - the only ones that matter) stay behind. Ray shows up at the end and busts through the ceiling because he didn't know there was an elevator.

I enjoyed the concept of the video - the scorekeeping and "days without injury" in particular. Should've been half as long. And they really should make some cool promos that include the non-masked heroes on both shows, even though I know TPTB think they aren't shit at this point.

I wasn't trying to imply you were poo-pooing Felicity's agency at all, I just am hoping that the "taking matters into her own hands" means her doing something other than going to Oliver's room and sleeping with him. Because yeah, taking matters into her own hands does imply action, but I'm not sure we can deduce meaning from the summary considering the people who write them don't seem to know the difference between "site" and "sight," haha.

I just want her role to be more than essentially fucking Oliver into an epiphany about his own life, that's all. Even if it does just mean talking with Ra's.

Yeah, but the summary for 3x20 says that Ra's makes Oliver an offer he can't refuse (the offer of the Lazarus Pit to bring back Thea or whoever dies), so why would he commit before that happens?

The description just says, "a heartbroken Felicity takes matters into her own hands." So, it could be showing up at Oliver's room. I'm hoping it's something more than that. MG did say that she stands up to someone even scarier than MM, so I'm assuming it's Ra's. Right when Oliver's about to hand his life over to him seems as good a time as any to do that.

If Oliver doesn't join the League until 3x20, when what's with that scene that seemed to be his branding in the sizzle reel that also showed up in the 3x19 promo (minus the actual brand)? The one where Oliver seems to be in a League area based on the smoke and flickering light and he's quaking?

I so want Oliver to look into Thea's room and see Ra's standing there dressed like a surgeon. Bonus points if he's holding a syringe full of air in one hand and Thea's IV in the other with an evil, amused glint in his eyes.

Could be. The WTF for 3x19 could have something to do with Oliver and Ray teaming up, too.

I'm thankful for that, because while I do appreciate the fact that Matt takes hits and gets tired, like dancingnancy, I think the fight sequences are boring too.

Yeah, that's how I feel about it too, and I also would liken it to how I feel about The Flash. I like everyone I should like, but I don't really care about any of them. And, truthfully, find both shows kind of boring, haha.

The only reason I don't think so is because in the BTS pic that KC posted of her during filming of the airplane hangar scene, she had her hair done and full makeup on, lipstick and everything. Felicity's on point even in the worst of times, but I'm not sure she'd be able to reapply her gloss while clinging to life by a thread. :) SA could still be the one doing most of the talking in the jet, even if Felicity isn't hurt. Especially if he breaks down and gets emotional.

I don't want anyone to save her necessarily, but I do very much want Oliver to beat the shit out of this dude for choking her while controlling Ray's suit.

It's in Oliver's wallet, and Felicity's going to find it one day and realize that he's loved Laurel, all this time, despite the fact that the picture was stuck to the back of his expired AAA membership card. (I'm being mean, I'll stop.)
