  1. A few more spoilers from the guy who posted them for the first episode and got it right: Ep4. edit: forgot to mention that the Paragons were stuck in the Vanishing Point for months and that the Flash went missingduring that time Barry uses the Speed Force to get everyone to the Dawn of Time. Spectre Oliver defeats the Anti-Monitor. It was a bit anti-climactic. A new Multiverse is created. Oliver dies again. Ep5. E-38 and E-1 are now called E-Prime. Only the Paragons remember the previous Multiverse. Luthor now owns the DEO. Jonn went and restored most of the important people's memories. Anti-Monitor is alive. They defeat him by perpetually shrinking him. They make a beta version of JLA with Supergirl, Flash, White Canary, Superman, Manhunter, Black Lightning and Batwoman. E-2 is where Stargirl is set with the JSA I think. E-9 is Titans. E-19 is Swamp Thing. E-21 is Doom Patrol. ETA some Q&A: Q: So five Earths are left but Earth 1 and Earth 38 have merged. A: Not 5. Still an infinite number of earths. They just showcased that the other earths are restored and shit Q: Can we expect to see Brandon Routh as Superman again or not? A: Small cameo yes Q: Do they actually name drop the Justice League? A: No but they have chairs Q: What earth is Black Lightning in? Prime. The new current Comment without a question: Forgot to mention that Oliver says "You have failed this universe!" to the Anti-Monitor lol [editorial note from me: groan sounds] Q: There seems to be some time travel involved (Sara's death, Season 5 Oliver fighting) - what's that about? Is Oliver in part 5 at all or is his death the end of it for him? A: The Paragons got stuck in the Speed Force and I guess that was what they were seeing. Oliver is not in part 5 Comment without a question: I freaking forgot to mention that here is a giant beebo in ep5
  2. Yeah, in "Sara" Laurel is wearing a pink shirt with blood all over it similar to the one that Katie was wearing in the BTS pic she posted and she had smeared blood on her face in the same spot. That's probably it.
  3. The Monitor's lady must've had it real bad to be able to deal with that forehead V.
  4. That's a great commute where I live. A lot of my coworkers live 60-90 miles away and take commuter busses into the city that leave at like 4AM. On the days I work in the office I leave at 5:45AM and my drive takes me about 15 minutes with no traffic. I come home during rush hour so it takes about 30-35 minutes.
  5. Agreed. I don't think this hairstyle or color suits her face at all. Maybe he's more willing to do it since the Heels is only 8 episode?
  6. I don't like Kat's ensemble, but her makeup is pretty. Katie looks like she's 25 years older than she actually is. Caity is very old Hollywood - her dress and hair are perfect.
  7. I thought she was going to die, and I was wrong. But being prepared for her to die did make her living and getting to go off to be with Oliver a delightful surprise. I hope I'm wrong this time too! If not, at least I'm prepared, LOL.
  8. Of course there's a chance, but this show hasn't ever done anything to indicate that it's likely. This show loves to beat Oliver down no matter how much he sacrifices - it would be great if he just caught a break this one last time and got to go home post-Crisis and got to live a normal life and raise his kids. I'll hope for that to happen, but I'm going to expect the 20 year separation/something similar to hold, primarily because I don't think they'll do anything *worse* than that. If I get something similar to what they gave us in 7x22, then I won't be disappointed because I thought I'd get more. If anything better than that happens, then I'll be happily surprised. Seems to me like people are just trying to manage their expectations. If you want to expect the absolute best case scenario, cool!
  9. Yeah, I think they'll get a relatively happy ending, but this show never gives us something good unconditionally. There will likely be a bitter pill to swallow to get to the happy part, so I'm just going to assume that the 20 year separation/death holds in some way just so I don't wind up disappointed.
  10. If Oliver isn't dead or believed to be dead then I wonder what the Oliver Queen Memorial Drive and the statue are about? If he's believed dead and just faked it then I would find it pretty hard to believe that he and Felicity would stay in Star City, unless Mia is just living there on her own for whatever reason in 2040.
  11. Beth had a quote on TVLine earlier that Crisis changes "literally everything" about Arrow so I wouldn't be surprised if they end up living in the future with their memories intact post-Crisis or something dumb like that.
  12. They're their current ages in at least part of it if the BTS pics/video are any indication.
  13. Laurel read a book and she's police commissioner now lol.
  14. I've been reading it! The story is incredibly engaging - you're a great writer @BkWurm1. I love Oliver and Felicity in it and am very, very (AND I MEAN VERY) anxiously awaiting the next update, LOL.
  15. As a person with absolutely no connections whatsoever, I'm sure she'll be admitted on her own merit! ::whispers:: spoil thiiiiiiings
  16. This is how I imagine him responding whenever he asks someone for advice. Ask, and if they disagree with what you want to do, talk them into it, LOL.
  17. Unless there's another Mia from another future who got zapped back to 2019 to spend time with another Oliver, I think the Oliver who died has to be ours. The Oliver who died knew Mia, he reiterated that Mia should find Felicity (something he told her to do before the big fight that killed him), he recognized her when she went to get him from Lian Yu. I think the direction for that scene was just bad all around, and it was awkwardly written with the side conversations going on while someone is lying there freaking dying lol.
  18. When one half of a couple is a serial cheater, I feel like said couple can’t be *that* top tier or untouchable. In that respect, I agree with MG and would probably feel okay trying out a new romantic partner for Oliver too (especially one where he could be less of a shithead).
  19. Hopefully that gets undone in the second installment of the comic, because if it doesn't and it's never mentioned, that's...yikes!
  20. I think it might be a flashback to S1 because SA filmed in the pre-OTA bunker in his old suit during 8x10.
  21. He flat-out said that the spin-off is taking place in the future.
  22. I get being disappointed. Arrow has been disappointing me for years, and those are just storylines that have been built up over a season or two, not 5+ years with a comic arc to boot. I'd prefer Arrow have ended last season - I don't need Oliver to have a big emotional send-off. I don't need him to be a god or the center of attention or the best hero ever. All I ever wanted was for him to get to see his kids grow up. The only thing that Arrow being involved in this crossover has given me that I wanted was for him to get to spend time with his kids before he dies/goes off to be Spectre/whatever other kind of bittersweet thing is going to keep him away for however many years. I do think that as long as Berlanti and Guggenheim are running things that the likelihood of you ever getting the Crisis story you were expecting was probably pretty slim. There's no way they would pass up a chance to have everyone come together for an event like that and one of Guggenheim's favorite things is subverting expectations, even if the twist is stupid and lacking in payoff. He mentioned killing Oliver off in the first episode of the crossover because people wouldn't be expecting it, and I wouldn't be surprised if E-90 Barry taking Barry's spot was changed for a similar reason. You've known for 5+ years what was going to happen because that article told you so - surprise! You didn't actually know and to them that's the fun part, not giving people who've been watching these shows for years payoff to the arcs they've been building up to.
  23. The Flash writers bungling their storyline for Barry has nothing whatsoever to do with what happens over on Arrow. Arrow's storyline has felt more emotional because whether Oliver dies for good, disappears for good or whatever, that show isn't coming back and these are actually the last moments we have with most of the characters on that show (pending the spin-off pickup), so they've packed in a lot of nostalgia and goodbye because it is actually a goodbye for the people who watch it. If the Flash writers didn't write the lead up to Barry's death in an emotionally satisfying way because they knew he wasn't actually going to die or disappear, that's their problem.
  24. Oh cool - after watching his redemption story for eight years, that's exactly what I want!
