Ok, WTH, they're putting up five dishes in the first 25 minutes and we see absolutely no cooking whatsoever. Salad, hot appetizer, chicken entree, fish entree, beef entree. smfh. I would gladly have watched a two hour show had they SHOWN ME SOME COOKING.

I couldn't tell them apart and lost interest because I had no idea who these two were. When I looked back again I saw a really messed up four year old and was so disgusted I turned it off. WTF. I'm a big soap fan too, but DOOL and 2-3 others that were cancelled through the years. Now some of these bad actors are showing up on my DOOL. Kassie dePaiva I'm looking at you. You're right! Zeppelin has always had fierce lawyers where their music is concerned, I don't blame them personally. They were right in the middle of the "don't sell out" crowd. I remember Stairway to Gilligan's Island. Hilarious. I really need to do the Pink Floyd / Wizard of Oz thing, I've been putting that off for years. I just got so sick of DSOTM growing up in the 70's and I find it just as depressing as The Wall. I much prefer Animals, Wish You Were Here and parts of Meddle and Ummagumma, but I guess I'm off topic enough for one day :)

Interesting about the songs, I can't get them out of my head, but since most songs in English are based on 4/4 time with 16 bar lyrical phrases I'm not surprised.

Yes, thanks for the clip! Gosh they were both wearing long dresses and looked so beautiful. The Days-type porn music made me laugh though. When AS said on her page they pitched the concept I wonder if it was the entire idea of replacing the portrait. If so, Days needs to listen to their actors more often. I wish they would continue the room makeover Kate suggested and get rid of that mask in the back, and those godawful brown curtains.

Thank you for taking the time to look that up. I didn't get it either. As far as whether Cali's singing is good or not, she has the first couple lines of that song down pat, but later in the show we hear her further into it and she was very, very badly out of tune.

I checked out the NBC home page for this show and gosh do Cat and Lorena look alike in those particular pics. I was referring to Elisha's on and off accent. As if there was not enough to dislike about this show, the huge stage set that turned me off immediately. It made me long for the simplicity of Ready Set Cook which was the first cooking competition show I watched in the 90's. I mean, it was very low budget, the set was tiny, but you could actually watch them cook. I saw nothing last night but a lot of neon lights.

Oh good lord this is an awful show. They're playing the Who Wants to be a Millionaire rounds? Plus the Chopped sad stories - my baby never went to Guam whaaaa? I paid little further attention after it was clear Alicia would win the second round. Otherwise what, someone else would step in like WWTBAM? I'm not a huge fan of Cat Cora either, she is so sold out. Why would any chef appear when it's already scripted they will be beaten? And the heavy Sofia Vergara accent that magically disappeared in her talking heads, especially at the end. She could at least have looked slightly surprised when she kept winning. I might just plan to do dishes every week when this show is on and I wasn't expecting much.

Yesterday EJ said his arraignment would be today and he'd be out on bail.

Caroline for reliving her Victor/Shawn days and imparting her "wisdom" on Sami when Carline was the person doing the cheating. Still, it was nice to see her out of the pub. The "Is Caroline the Voice of Reason" post on the DOOL FB page shows virtually everyone agreeing Sami should forgive EJ. Ugh. I'm so glad I have this place.

Yes, and while she looked cute she'll never be sexy like Kate was in hers. I have no problems with sleeveless dresses. Check out your news anchors and pundits, half of those women are sleeveless year round for the past few years, it's accepted professional wear these days (although the cutout dresses on this show aren't, imho.) Nicole's hair is a weird color but otherwise her short bob grew out a little and they put a wave in it. Nowhere near as horrific as Jen's crunchy overstraightened green hair. I'm just resigned to the fact Eric will always dress as a prepubescent.
