But it looks like the crop top is back according to Malia Obama who famously wore one with a matching skirt to meet some important people, I forget all the details but she hiked up the skirt so her midriff wouldn't show. I'd rather see Sonny having the extramarital kiss and I wouldn't blame him. And yeah, I definitely see a custody battle over Ari because Gabi kept calling him an equal parent, he and Will are married, etc. I hope this is possible because Will gets his ass thrown in jail, I don't care why.

That's was just...unbelievably disgusting. The woman has no clue how to behave around other people. That right after apologizing to Abby for insisting she make the cupcakes? Honestly, I remember the Jake and Paulina days and while they were a wildly popular couple, she didn't seem very bright to me back then. And to this day I can't unsee her in the corset. They could really be playing her character for laughs. Who knows, maybe they're trying but it's not working.

Heck, I thought all of the police department scenes were written for comedic purposes, and I have to say I really enjoyed it on that level. Mar telling the police what to do, for instance, and beating back gorilla Brady. In fact, I'm enjoying some of ED's camp comedy more than I expected. Much better than sad, judgmental grimacing all the time.

The thing is, we were told at the time that GW was put into the role because although he lacked CM's charisma, he was a better actor. WTF? And he's almost 30. Will just graduated from college. I thought Sami did an excellent job today, saying things we've all been saying, such as how often she's saved his ass and he's thrown it back in her face. ETA Abby's jaw looked very manly today. She's definitely been keeping the mouth closed though. I think she read some our posts back when this was filmed.

I didn't want to be boring with my opinion on this subject, but since we're still discussing it and I needed a job last month to attempt to keep my house... I've been updating my references. Most places will not accept relatives at all. I had a good coworker who got promoted who let me know that as a supervisor she could no longer be a reference for anybody. I also have a former supervisor at the same place who was also fired along with everyone else (200+), but is now working with the county human services department. I have to list their jobs most of the time but I'm afraid it makes me appear I was looking for welfare or something if I include her. I will anyway because she's great. It's not always easy. So I don't think Dan or Kayla from the hospital are allowed to give her a reference. Anyway, I don't read spoilers (it prevents me from being bored since things drag out long enough) but it feels like this is heading toward Abs thinking she can bully EJ into a job. She probably thinks he owes her or something. Of course he wouldn't be able to help but that's beside the point for Abs. Or maybe she'll blackmail Sami once the article comes out. I actually give her points for trying since she doesn't need a job, but needing to have Ben print out the local job listings looked pretty lame to me. End of "defending" Abby...Hey at least she kept her mouth shut and her eyes unbugged during Clyde. Oh, I got the ICK big time with Ben rubbing up against her ass. Last but not least, boes you really outdid yourself with that last recap. I really need the laughs right now and you are just the best.

I believe Gordon said he'd pay for the chef until they turned things around. I wasn't surprised at all, the place had no real chef and he's done the same thing on Kitchen Nightmares occasionally. The format of this show continues to frustrate me in that nothing is actually done until the last last 15 min. Meanwhile I heard about the car accident 3-4 times in the first half hour and it felt very manipulative and repetitive. We were supposed to believe GR wasn't told until he got there (like he didn't know that alcoholic man had a problem until he got there - yeah right). Also, I would like to see something about how the housekeeping is done at all these places. And he's awfully insistent about expanding everyone's business to outdoor settings. While that may be the right thing to do to bring in more business, in the short term expenses are going to go through the roof. It feels like everyone has been tiptoeing around Suki a LOT. I'm not convinced she's as lovable as the show would have us believe. I've been thinking about the young adult children and the daughter in particular really needs a break. I hope they get the opportunity to go to that college, if that's what they want to do. I feel like I'm getting just the right amount of Naked GR and that makes me happy.

The mothers are basically convincing those kids to elope just to get a little peace.

I think part of the problem is that Paige and Eve are going by the name Larson and Theresa isn't using her given name Jeannie because she apparently hates it (as a Jeanne this makes me a little sad). I don't think Theresa was crossing paths with a high schooler but I believe she said something about knowing Paige was in town but didn't want to start anything up. As far as Eve, she called Paige and announced she would be coming home a week early, just in time for graduation and apparently with a lawsuit in hand since it was served on graduation morning. They discussed how terrible Cousin Joan's apartment was and if they could get some money they would buy a house because her apartment smelled like cat. Eve mentioned she is a relative of Paige's father but I don't think we have any idea who he is. And yeah, Eve is all kinds of awful. Clapping her hands over hoping her daughter plotted to set JJ off against his mother. Then storming over to threaten him. And I really noticed her self produced moaning noises on Friday's show. Eve's been trying to break them up from day one. Thank goodness TruePaige is a much better actress than KM and routinely registers her disgust toward Eve, even though she's a good daughter and loves her. Probably because Eve hasn't been around much since she's been farmed out to Cousin Joan (who I guess took her smelly cat and is staying with her boyfriend) for as long as the past year.

Didn't they call her Cousin Joan? And Eve was supposed to be traveling doing whatever her day job was (I remember taking a business call or two) so it's kind of hazy when during her senior year Paige arrived in Salem but of course we weren't aware of her until JJ was sentenced to community service in February and met Paige in March. Per Wiki Theresa has been on Days since July 2013.

She's mentioned a couple of times on the show she has nodes in her vocal cords. She wants to restart her singing career so I have that to dread. That's how she met Dr. Dan during a consultation because I watch the show. I googled her back when she started on Days and found out she was a singer in Kentucky. I hope she never gets the surgery because if her own moaning music is any indication, I don't want to hear more.

In defense of the mom, many of us continue paying the mortgage, etc long after the kid should contribute. She divorced the loser dad but had very strong ties to the place they built. I can agree with her wanting to hold onto it for herself and her kids. She wrote off the stoner music kid like she did the dad, but knew the restaurant kid was making money, just not how much. She wanted him to have a living because he was working and I'm glad Gordon made it clear she wasn't being selfish, they had to work together. No one has mentioned that Gordo went off on the restaurant kid harder than anyone else but I think he did that because he was the only hope in turning things around. I loved how he acknowleged ButtDad by dismissing him in the last meeting saying in a loving way, letting him know you're hopeless. You have to be businessmen! (adds British accent). Loved the water Speedo, I have an old TV so I didn't see the blurring of the bulge.

Sami's kids are Will (named after Billie who is Kate's dauther) by Lucas. His other child is Allie (named after her grandmother Alice). She was conceived in a cabin an hour before EJ made sure Lucas was wounded and he raped her to conceive the second twin, Johnny. Grace was the child of a high school friend Will was dating, Mia and Chad. Mia left town because Will wouldn't have sex with her. Chad didn't know at the time he was the father. Sami raised her as her own until she got sick and died and found Nicole had her biological daughter that Rafe helped her hide from EJ when she was in the witness program. Later, she kept the name Nicole gave her after losing her own baby, Sydney. But you can get this all online :) Gabi loved Will enough to use Grace as her and Will's daughter's middle name. So Sami has 4 kids.

Um, we haven't seen the scene yet. That's why I don't participate in spoilers to set up my expectations but it's too easy to click on next unread thread here. But I definitely agree Kayla has not been used well on this show. Abigail deserves way more than a gentle but firm talk. She was - pardon me - one hair from doing the deed in the supply room which only got more intense in the Dimera board room. The Hortons (no apostrophe please) live off of Tom Horton's legacy and the hundreds of thousands of dollars he left each and every one of them. I'm a thousand percent toward Sami moving to fire her ass. Nobody else is trying to teach her a lesson and I'm enjoying every single minute.

Ok Friday's episode was not that bad. Honest to god the way people rip them apart here I spend days not wanting to watch them. Then they're not that damned bad. Lots of people talking to people on Friday. Dan w/JJ Jen w Nic Eric w/ Priest Brady w/Mags Theresa w/ Vic Paige w/ Eve Paige w/ JJ I was stunned by 4-5 sentences of Eve continuing to deny she's known for a long time about Dannifer as she found out from Theresa long ago. "If I'd known...I didn't know...It's not my fault...If only you or JJ had told me..." Then she laid on the guilt trip about don't do anything if you're afraid of losing him and don't end up like me. Major guilt trip, mom? Paige isn't afraid of losing him, and JJ really did nothing wrong. The makeout scene lasted 20 seconds. She wasn't afraid of JJ, she was afraid of Eve's words. Good job, mom. I didn't see anything other than Nicole having the best of intentions toward Dannifer. She completely supported Dan. While it's snarky that she would say Jen has to be the problem, it's true. I'm not a Dannifer fan either but I enjoyed the father role Dan played today and wouldn't we rather just have them happy and on the back burner? God knows Abs needs some discipline.

Except all the bugs in the promos are ruining that image for me :(

I've never used either of those words against anyone in my life, and I think it's especially bad when women say them to other women. The show needs to stop it or keep it extremely rare. But Nick calling Abby EJ's whore to her face, when she had no idea he knew, was magnificent.
