Seriously! There are still so many reunions they haven’t gotten to. You even have Maxie on screen commenting on how strange it is she hasn’t seen Lulu yet. And they’ve given no excuse as to why Tracy hasn’t shown up at Laura’s place to see Lulu. Pump the breaks on Lulu’s WSB adventure to find her daughter.

This was comically bad. Do they really not have money for a premade gingerbread house from the grocery store in their budget? The actress playing Young Georgie looks so much like Lindze Letherman. Great casting.

I wish they’d cast an actual teen to play Aiden instead of a 20-something. These two have drank from the fountain of youth and look like they should have perpetually elementary school aged children.

Kristina: I have regrets. Sonny: Yeah, what you said to Molly was pretty cold. Kristina: No, I meant that. I am blameless. I regret how right I always am. Sonny: Finally. The child I’ve always wanted.

Leah’s Perfect Christmas Gift wasn’t particularly great, but the subplot about visiting in laws and starving the whole time was sooooo relatable. We always made a point of eating right before we arrived because for some reason family gatherings meant lunch was canceled and the oven wasn’t preheated yet even though turkey was on the menu. Half my luggage was snacks.

With her Grand Prix medal isn’t she all but guaranteed a spot at Worlds (ala Isabeau last season?) I would think that would take a lot of pressure off for Nationals during a non-Olympic year.

Based off the real life commercial for the deceptor that aired today, this bizarre subplot may be funding the show.

I haven’t watched yet, and have missed much of Cody’s backstory, but why not make him Gio’s father? Leave Dante alone!

His mother’s place? It’s okay. I forget she still exists too.

Congratulations to Dex for getting paid his full salary to play a background extra today.

I was thinking the same thing. He’s been on the show for over a decade, yet Molly and Jordan are his only solid ties to the canvas, and Jordan is hardly ever on. Maybe they’ll try pairing him with Sasha, since she can provide him the insta-family he yearns for.

Like geez, if you need Laura offscreen, send her to the PCPD or something to oversee the search.

I am so far behind on this weekend’s offerings. I managed to watch Deck the Walls and agree with others. The story was solid, and I think they did a good job building backstories for each character. Ashley Greene isn’t my favorite. Her performances are typically wooden. I found her serviceable in this role, but agree that there are many actresses from Hallmarks rotation who would have done better. She needed some Type-A spunk, while Greene mostly played it “cool girl.” I also watched a 90’s Christmas, which I really wanted to love but didn’t. The wigs were bad. I spent the entire movie trying to figure out what was going on with Chandler Massey’s hair. I think it was extensions because his hair was still bad in the present, but shorter. Anyway, I agree with others, they should have cast some 20-somethings or 40-somethings for the roles. Using 30-something actors was distracting because they either looked too young or too old. They do get major bonus points for the “I love Joshua Jackson” notebook, because 1999 was peak Pacey, but also timely since JJ is in the midst of a TV comeback.

I agree with this. Lindsay Lohan and Ian Harding’s charisma helped fill in the gaps that were otherwise lacking, but it would have been nice to have a few more moments of yearning. I mean, I guess it’s nice they weren’t carrying on an emotional affair through the week. I definitely bought them as lifelong friends, though. The most glaring omission was what Logan actually bought Avery for Christmas. Did we ever find that out?

Watch them bill Lulu for the nurse’s stollen belongings.

The music was noticeably worse, especially when they tried to squeeze in random Lin Manuel rap breaks. It was such a contrast when they played the reprise of “We Know the Way” from the first film. I did enjoy “What Could be Better than This?”

Wasn’t there some Quartermaine birthmark involved with solving Michael’s paternity?
-
I hope they only make Gio a Q and not Dante’s son. They’ve been dragging out this story out long enough, and between Sam dying and Lulu coming out of her coma, Dante has more than enough story right now that he doesn’t need a long lost secret child thrown into the mix.

I was able to watch Ghost of Christmas Always off my DVR and it really holds up, especially compared to this year’s other offerings. Ian Harding is so charismatic with his endless rambling, and the leads have such great chemistry. I saw that he’s in the Hallmark+ Christmas movies (or I guess this one’s a Christmas limited series) and he’s the male lead in Lindsey Lohan’s Netflix Christmas movie this year.

Cyrus may be off the black list, but he’s more on the “tolerate” list now. It’s one thing to have Genie Francis offscreen for this portion of the story, it’s another to not even have Laura answer the phone. And to suggest there’s some emergency going on in Port Charles when literally every major character is currently living their most boring life isn’t a great excuse. He blames Kristina for Irene’s death, and whether he cared for Irene as his granddaughter, I don’t know, but he does care about Molly and her grief and wants Kristina to pay for it.

There are so many amazing moments to choose from Lulu’s unexpected and unlikely journey. Managing to slip out of Maxie’s house quicker than Maxie could run down the hall, and right past Spinelli who had to have be in the driveway when she left. Teleporting to the Quartermaine grounds to encounter every new character in Port Charles first. But the winning scene goes to Turning Woods texting Lucky footage of his comatose sister escaping without comment. Wouldn’t you CALL them first to prepare them for the revelation? Anyway, thank god Rocco finally identified her.

I give him a pass on this. He did seem a little suspicious toward the end, but maybe he reads the boards and knows how outlandish it would be for Lulu to wake up from a 4 year coma and a liver transplant and just hop out of bed and run out into the street. I’m just relieved she ran into Cody first and seems to have safely arrived to her front door. I really couldn’t with Cyrus kidnapping her. At least Lucky knows Lulu is missing and Cyrus was sniffing around, so if Cyrus does get to Lulu before her return is revealed, Lucky will be hot on the trail.
