  1. The ones with the litter boxes for students to use. But yeah, children are curious. Hiding information from them usually backfires. Give them information, engage, treat their questions objectively, without horror and histrionics. If it's too hard for you, there are things called "books" that just might help. It was like she was going to have the vapors. "Oh I'm sorry. Am I misunderstanding the Bible by taking things out of context? Forgive me, I haven't read it." Awesome, perfect, loved it. Many years ago I used to volunteer at the library of my son's schools. I remember the librarian saying she was going to weed books. I thought she had a speech impediment and was saying she was going to read books. How did Eric Adams get elected?
  2. I had looked up Sunny Angels, too. I didn't read too much about them. Can you take the hats off? I just looked up Challengers. When was this mentioned in the show?
  3. I feel so old and out of the loop. There were a few names and things mentioned that I had no clue about. First off, I had recently read a little article about Doja Cat, and I was then thinking that was who was going to host. I guess I conflated the short names together. I thought she was being funny when she came out in the monologue and struck an Angelina Jolie-type pose. But then it looked like it was no joke. She reminds me so strongly of Gal Gadot. I too was wondering if those dolls were a real thing. And what are you referring to re "Challengers"? [googling Troye Sivan...] [googling Jojo Siwa...] Yeah, I thought he was on to do some damage control, and I was wondering what he was going to say. Turns out, not much. I kind of enjoyed this. A bit. But I didn't care for her accent. I thought it was distracting and unnecessary. The Anomalous Man was weird. I had no idea where this was going. I also need to google "bluey's mom marijuana" and "prosciutto recall" because we had prosciutto in our chicken marsala last night. (We feel fine.) Teeny Tiny Statement Pins was pretty good. The vague ones were pretty good, but I think I liked "We have the meats" and the vegetarian "We NO have NO meats." All in all, a boring ep.
  4. I don't see any reason to keep Janine and Gregory apart. Parks & Rec continued to be funny after Leslie and Ben got together. It's not impossible to do. I do really like Manny's character. He's always so positive. Sometimes his positivity seems like denseness, but I like that he is kind and has a good outlook. Has he ever said anything negative?
  5. OMGosh! Me too! This ep he had a new, weird, funny expression. Right now I can't remember what the scene was, but Gregory (I think) told him to change his face. Ahhhh. I couldn't understand them when they said what the title was, but I was wondering if it was a real book. Thanks.
  6. I've watched the first two eps -- Norway and Argentina -- and I was laughing out loud all by myself. Some bits didn't quite work for me, but I love his sense of humor, particularly when he interacts with regular people. (His old timey baseball video makes me laugh-cry so hard.)
  7. I would have been unpleasantly surprised if Will had opened the safe. I figured he had picked up some knowledge in his line of work, but had no experience in actually doing it. Here, I think he was basically stalling for time, as well as just playing along that he knew about safes. I believe he did screw up the locking mechanism -- locking himself out -- when he drilled.
  8. Another reason I didn't like this ep is that there weren't enuf classroom scenes.
  9. I thought the same! What monster would have strangled Betty!?! She could have re-stabbed him. Plenty of blood in that body. :D
  10. Me too. Avi was one of the best things in this ep. Loved his face when he looked at the camera in joy at Gregory's messiness. I also loved Mr. Morton having a bigger part. Other than that...? Not one of my favorite eps. I can only take so much cringe, and there was too much. Plus I couldn't really believe anyone, even someone so socially awkward as Gregory, would act like that. I really didn't enjoy it. Olivia was lovely. I'm glad she left Gregory with that burn. Oh, and I always like seeing Tariq. "Remember that time you screamed and then everyone looked at you?" I didn't particularly enjoy the book club either.
  11. Glass beads, which she didn't put enuf of in that sock. And did she stab the bartender guy with a fondue fork? That was great. She did MacGyver pretty well, I just wanted more of it. Yes! I too expected her to write the fax in the guy's blood. Too dark? Before they said they didn't remember, I literally said out loud, "Why did they break up?" Not that I want them back together -- I don't -- but I couldn't recall. Anyway, I thought this was a good ep. I agree with others here that it was jarring whenever we went to the Angie/Ormewood scenes. I don't care about them. I don't care about Crystal. I wonder if the writers are struggling with this as much as I think they are. Loved all the Bond stuff Will was saying to the mirror. Loved his tailor, too. The asthma woman was fun. Loved her boogying to the music. When Ormewood shot the guy, I was stunned because it all seemed too soon. There were a lot of great scenes in the wedding/hostage situation -- tense, funny, exciting -- but the ending seemed to come too fast. Maybe if the show hadn't wasted time with Angie/Orm it would have felt better to me. I'm not happy to see Will and Angie back together. Or whatever they're doing. Blech.
  12. I want birthday cupcakes with Betty's face on them.
  13. I agree that the main story was pretty thin. Most of the meat I already knew about, like the explanation about the wrongly observed speed of a UAP, but I did like seeing old clips of people talking about aliens and such, as well as the news report bits -- Mike Wallace introducing his cigarette, John Chancellor laughing about "UFO" being painted on the side of a UFO. Oh, and I liked hearing the suggestion that UAP sitings could be attributed to seeing a flock of pelicans because I had a "What is that?" moment when I saw some once. I didn't think they were a UAP, but I couldn't figure it out until I drove closer and saw the pelicans. The previous stories, like Mangi's confirmation hearing, were infuriating.
  14. I haven't had that problem with LWT or with Max in general. (I watch on my laptop.) I have had it occasionally with other streaming services. Very annoying.
  15. I think there was a purpose other than having Will respond strongly. If Antonio has friends who are anti-police, then what does that say about Antonio? I don't want him to be a bad guy either, but I actually hope, for the sake of good writing, that there's something in his past (or present) related to problems with the police. Whatever that may be.
  16. I was watching some other show, and a character was named Betty. For me, there is now only one Betty.
  17. This was one of my favorite parts of the ep. Not just the sweetness of what they were saying, but also how they were jostling around for the camera. Yeah, I wish I wasn't bothered by all the predictability. I was holding out some hope that Questlove wouldn't show up, just so it wouldn't be predictable, but no. And we all knew that Janine would come back to Abbott. Frankly, I was getting annoyed at how she was reacting to every reminder that she was officially becoming a district employee. I know it was supposed to be funny, but it just bugged me. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood to watch. I did enjoy the opening with The Bear scenes. And then later when the cafeteria chef (cook?) called out "Corner!" before Ava bumped into her. Then Ava saying, "Are we just yelling out things we see now? Walls! Floor! Huge mess of food!" Jacob squeaking out "I did" when Ava asked who sent the new flyer out was great. Another thing I liked was the different district employees. Funny, distinct characters. Esp the one from HR. I always love hearing people say, "One of us. One of us," from Freaks.
  18. I'd choose death by chocolate.
  19. I'm going to have to watch that last bit so I can put the voices to the names.
  20. Wow, that Papyrus 2 sketch was long. I enjoyed this ep. I haven't liked all of the alien abduction sketches, but I did like this one. Loved Ryan's line about the aliens being like a broken doorbell: No dong. I'm not a fan of all the breaking, but mainly because the audience cheers and hollers like it's the best thing in the world. I liked the monologue. I like Emily Blunt. I absolutely LOVED the engagement sketch. Ryan and Andrew were so good. Ryan whispering was hilarious. This was the best. Get That Boy Back was pretty good. Bugged me that I couldn't always understand the guys in the bar sketch. Beavis and Butthead was another great one. Again, too much breaking, but I still laughed. Didn't care for WU. I don't think there was a joke that I particularly liked. The hospital sketch was pretty good. I like Bowen's weird character. I wish Ryan hadn't kept blowing at his bangs. I suppose he thought that was funny, but I think it would have been funnier if he just ignored it, as his character probably would do. Erin Brockovich was another good one.
  21. I'm gonna guess that something more significant is going to happen with Luke. He's a reporter, so it'll probably have something to do with that. He'll uncover some info about one of the other characters (Antonio?), or he'll get killed investigating a story, or whatever.
  22. Are jelly bean belts a thing? First I'd heard of them.
  23. True. But I doubt there will be more to this on the show.
  24. The threats seemed to be coming from that one guy, who was arrested.
