  1. Nope! I'm right there with you ?
  2. I know that they don't know about that. My statement was in response to Katy M's statement that the BMOL could probably kill Rowena but not Crowley.
  3. Would they be able to kill Rowena though? When she came back to life after being killed by Lucifer I think she said it was a spell that she created to bring her back whenever she died.
  4. Thank you for posting the link; it was a good read and there were many good points made. I strongly agree with the assessment of the writing for Castiel this season. He's been mostly absent and when he returned it was for a rehash of writing that we've seen for his character many times before.
  5. If Sam truly thought that Dean wouldn't be willing to speak with him then why would he ask him why he didn't call first? Seems to me it was the other way around.
  6. Ok; I stand corrected. However, through the course of 12 seasons I don't consider a handful of mentions of ditching the family for college is worth more than nearly an entire series of Dean telling Sam how he should get out, settle down, is too smart for hunting etc. Anyone that has siblings knows that hurt feelings no matter how far in the past are always thrown out as a defense when we're upset. In that case everyone is jealous, immature and capable of holding grudges.
  7. But was it in an accusatory "how dare you leave sort of way" as it was in the first season? I'm sorry but beyond the hurt feelings from Sam leaving that was hashed out more than once during season one I don't feel that there's been continuous dwelling on the college thing. In Dark Side of the Moon wasn't it brought up with a series of other memories that Sam had?
  8. How often after season 1 did he actually mention Sam going to Stanford? I honestly thought that beyond that time the references were due to Sam wanting a normal life and Dean wanting him to get out of hunting because he deserved one. Also, in the pilot, didn't Sam ask Dean why he didn't call first, to which Dean asked if he would even pickup the phone if he had to which Sam had no reply? This makes me think that he did try to keep in touch and an impromptu visit wouldn't have been welcomed. I think calling Dean "an immature, jealous, grudge holder" is a little strong since he he always seems to hold Sam's best interests above his own. Mileage of course, varies.
  9. I didn't read it as she wasn't interested; she basically just said that it's been done many times before. Then again with a show that's been on this long it's not unlikely to see some of the plotlines repeated even if they are tweaked a bit to make them different.
  10. I know I wasn't the one that requested the summary but thanks for the lowdown. At least Dagon is no more which is a good thing..
  11. I'm with you. I've begun to skim through the weekly episode thread after it's been aired to get an overall feel of what transpired but I'm not too eager after reading some of these posts.
  12. I haven't watched yet but I liked Joshua and it's aggravating to hear that he was killed instead of making him an angel that actually has Cas's back :(
  13. I agree with you due to the fact that since he has become showrunner Dean as a character has seemed very muted this season as compared to others. MMV and before anyone says it it's not because of supposed anguish over Sam having more plot/kills/smarts than Dean.
  14. Ugh; no mysterious keys story line please! I'm still recovering from the disappointment with the mangled keys plot on Grimm :(
  15. Very true. I like the fact that Jensen can still make Dean interesting despite the storyline but I want more for the character and they haven't given us enough this season.
  16. I agree with you on this and I hope that we get more of this from him and Sam with Ketch, Lady Bevill and Dr. Hess when they pop back up.
  17. I can't speak for everyone else because I don't know who else has been saying this but I will comment on my viewpoint since you quoted my comment. Re: Dean's instincts - they may be good but there is a difference in the now and the past. It doesn't mean that he's an idiot or completely without instinct but there was an aggressiveness and confrontational edge when he dealt with shady characters that is missing in the present season. Dean would get in the face of angels, demons and he even held his own in front of Death and Cain but he's been somewhat apathetic to the presence of the BMOL which I feel is for the benefit of his brother's willingness to give them a chance. He may be on edge but there is a difference in his dealings with the potential threat IMO as compared to previous seasons.
  18. I also loved the collective hunters being in awe of the brothers and the fact that they were legends in hunters circles.
  19. And this was all after being out of the game for a year and supposedly soft in the eyes of the Campbells. His instincts were still sharp after a year of domestic life without monsters but now for some reason they're not.
  20. Presently the Lucifer story line has gone on far too long in my opinion but I don't see an end in sight especially with the inclusion of the Nephilim plot. Add in that Crowley is definitely operating on more ego than sense and that Lucifer has been gathering his strength unbeknownst to him and I see us getting more of the same as with last season with those two. Of course I hope that this isn't the case but I don't have a lot of faith that we will be pleasantly surprised with a new outcome. I like Mark Sheppard as well along with Misha Collins but it seems that lately they have no idea what to do with their characters. In hindsight Future!Dean is like a mix of Purgatory/MOC Dean...
  21. I wonder if will be Lucifer breaking Crowley's hold over him and putting him back in the same spot as when he was Lucifer!Cas.
  22. Exactly right; just as Soulless Sam is also given a pass for telling Dean that he didn't care about him or trying to kill Bobby because he was clearly not Sam. MOC and Demon Dean are clearly tainted Dean which is evident from his attempts to kill Sam, Cas and having no problem with palling around with Crowley who he barely tolerates on a good day.
  23. I recalled shifter Dean from season one and Leviathan Dean after it was pointed out but IMO both incarnations of Demon Dean as well as MOC Dean and KhanWorm Dean aren't the same as Lucifer!Sam, Meg!Sam or Soulless!Sam. Or even Lucifer!Cas. I'm not trying to do tit for tat just that being briefly under supernatural influence isn't what I was asking about. Also, Khanworm Dean was for a split second and we had no idea that he was any different until he killed Gwen before it was expelled and the Shapeshifter Dad took on Dean's form briefly but he was one of several in that episode. My inquiry was about Jensen being Dean under possession of different being after which I was reminded of season one's shifter and season seven's Leviathan.
  24. I still think that it would be interesting to see Jensen's take on Dean in a situation in which he's not himself as we've seen Sam in the various instances that I referenced previously. I would have enjoyed seeing his portrayal of Michael in season 5 but it unfortunately it didn't happen.
  25. I remembered the dead wife but I forgot Jess! Damn, I need to pay more attention when I rewatch :)
