  1. I gotta say this season is firing on all cylinders. And without giving any spoilers, it's nice to see them weaving several storylines from the comic rather seamlessly in this episode.
  2. "Babies are boring. They don't party; they don't travel; they have no sense of irony..." :D
  3. See what Arseface has been up to in a preview for the next episode.
  4. The sound effects on his guns in the show are amazing. I wonder if they're going to do the bit where Cassidy gets tortured by the guy shooting pieces off of him.
  5. Interesting that for the show they decided to do away with the Saint of Killers never missing a shot. Gotta say I think it was a good choice - allows them to ramp up the tension with those bullets from hell just hitting tarmac and such.
  6. Sutherland went through a short stint where it looked like he was gonna try to do more character roles than leading man. I think Dark City was around the time as FWWM and he's a bit quirky in that one as well.
  7. Kim was technically correct, which is the best kind of correct! #FreeKimReed
  8. Does anyone know if Lynch still shoots only on film, or does he use digital these days?
  9. I have a theory that if the explosion in 1945 somehow bought beings that exist outside of traditional time, that once the explosion happens those beings have always existed. In other words since the Lodges aren't constrained by time there's a paradox - they enter our timeline linearly in 1945 by our measure, but once they enter that focal point, the Lodges now have existed since the Big Bang.
  10. Those words were typed once before, by David Lynch: "page 127, then when you think nothing could be creepier than the soot men, that thing crawls in her mouth." Check out entry two in this article about Mulholland Dr, with screenshots showing Sheryl Lee and the actress who played Ronette Polaski sitting together in Club Silencio. Maybe it's DoppleCoop without BOB for the first time. It even got me wondering if when he looked in the mirror it was BOB saying to DoppleCoop "Good you're still with me" rather than the other way around.
  11. I don't know Drag Race at all, but I agree Alaska was amazingly funny.
  12. Amen. I'm 46 and I watched TP week to week when it first aired, and saw FWWM in theaters. I love that Lynch is revisiting the material in real time, 25 years later, with his different perspective on things and growth as an artist over the same period of time. It's pretty amazing.
  13. "What's your name?" "Tammy." "Fuck you, Tammy." lulz
  14. How do I nominate Kayley's accent for The Canon :o
  15. I'm enjoying the show so far. I miss a lot of the charm and humor of the original series, and some of the attempts at humor in the new one fall flat, but I'm intrigued by a lot of what's going on. When it comes to Lynch's work during the frustrating parts I just adopt the attitude of a judge in a procedural when someone objects: "I'll allow it. I want to see where this is going."
  16. She can play the Richard Dawson role!
  17. I'd take Dumpster Baby away from Dee and Mac from It's Always Sunny and give him to Liz Lemon.
  18. I wanna Ethan "Bubblegum" Tate from Futurama show up on Brooklyn Nine Nine.
  19. This new prestige sci-fi miniseries explores themes of national security and parallels the attack of 9/11. Jenga! starts Tuesday on HBO #TooSoon #BadTaste
  20. For a real good version of how that stuff works watch season one of Unreal.
  21. (Buster voice) "Hey hermano."
