  1. I'm a little worried that we may be heading to an ending with all the characters being in David's head. I hope not, but the title would be vindicated. :/ Also glad they didn't try to give him weird hair. Also check out this video of an astronaut showing how she washes her hair in zero gravity. Her hair looks like Legion's!
  2. Totally agree, or as the kids say today, totes mah goats.* *edit: the kids don't *actually* say this
  3. First hit on youtube seems pretty much the same:
  4. There's a B99 episode where someone tells Diaz to act cheerful and she does this fake voice in response. Now I have to find that scene and see if that's her real voice.
  5. I can respect that. On the other hand this kind of show is basically my catnip. I read superhero comics as a kid, but stopped reading them as an adult and moved on to stuff like Sandman etc. But every once in a while there's a smaller superhero thing done by someone who wants to tell a story in a different way from the mainstream money making stuff and this show is the TV version of that.
  6. Sasheer Zamata on @midnight this week :http://www.cc.com/episodes/ttgahy/-midnight-with-chris-hardwick-extended---thursday--march-23--2017---uncensored-season-4-ep-4082
  7. She's awesome. She does a lot more writing than performing on SNL and you can tell here that joke writing/telling are her strong points. Same!
  8. How does she plug in the vanity mirror? :o
  9. I didn't mean that they'd have that type of thing in Legion. I'm saying it stretches the limits of belief for characters in Legion to act the way they do if they live in a world where Apocalypse and Magneto exist. For example, David's psychiatrist at Clockworks acting like David having abilities is a ridiculous concept whereas in an X-men world there would at least be a discussion that the concept isn't one that's outside the realm of possibility.
  10. It depends. Bryan Singer is the exec producer and he's responsible for Fox's X-men universe but I'd love to see them go in a diff direction or just make the show part of its own continuity, like how all the DC shows Greg Berlanti does aren't connected to the DC movies at all. Though in this case it would make a good TV show instead of Arrow etc. :P
  11. Given their physical connection she's probably never experienced a situation where Cary just disappeared.
  12. Two more I just thought of: Episode One - Interrogator: "So after you switched bodies with a woman and left a mental hospital where all the patients had been magically sealed in their rooms you think you saw me get out of a car?" David: "Well you don't have to be a dick about it." Episode Six - David comes in to ask Lenny if she's seen Syd. Lenny goes off on a supervillain rant about the cordyceps fungus. David: "A simple 'I haven't seen her' would have..." he trails off.
  13. Cary's/Kerry's ability is one you don't want to question so much. How does she come out fully clothed? Does she have to bring the clothes in with her or can she generate new clothes on her own? Is there a closet inside of Cary in case she wants more than one outfit? Where was she keeping that spiked club and does it hurt Cary when it's inside of him? Does he shop for her or does she buy her own clothes? If she buys her own, how does someone who doesn't even know what going to the bathroom is know how to pick out such dynamite outfits? Does she have a subscription to Vogue addressed to Inside of Cary, Summerland, Upstate New York, USA, or does she share a post box with him? Is there a full length mirror inside Cary or does she have to come out to use the mirror to pick an outfit, and how bored does Cary get during this process? etc.
  14. @planet17 I agree completely. I'd hate to see this show get bogged down with continuity bullshit. It's the reason I drifted away from superhero comics in the 90s. All the crossovers they started doing ruined good books by making the writer of one property suddenly beholden to what the entire publishing house was doing every few months or so if not more frequently. @Bruinsfan Patrick Stewart is a little too old for the role I think. Not that he's too old to have fathered a thirty year old, but he could easily age out of the show if it paces slower than real time like most quality television does. I wouldn't want to see MacAvoy in the role either unless they decided to keep the show and the movies mostly separate. Like if they referenced pics of MacAvoy or something. Even that would take something away because then the TV writers have to write to the bigger world - ie. let's say they have a great idea for a mutant getting exposed to the general public. That idea is dead because we live in a world where Magneto and Apocalypse are a thing, etc.
  15. Both haha. I take it you play too? :D When there's only two finalists I can know exactly if I was right or wrong, but with three I get one or none confirmed depending if I guessed the person who won.
  16. I agree. Melissa is awesome and I love her on SNL but her strength as a comedian right now is impressions rather than joke delivery, which is what @midnight is all about. edit: I also wish they would stop not eliminating the third guest because it messes with my "guess which joke was by which comedian" game I play.
  17. Looking forward to Emily Heller, Greg Proops and Sasheer Zamata
  18. I like that interpretation of the flowers growing. I had wondered about it but didn't have any ideas.
  19. Start at 2:00 to see the Layla Miller parts :D
  20. I feel like you meant to type "AP is... fun?" :D She does this thing where her eyes remain dead but she smiles at someone. It's creepy as fuck.
