I am so excited for Top Chef to start!

I can’t even tell you how much I loved my soaps. On my wedding day (Justice of the Peace) I was late to my appt at 2 because after six months of watching this storyline, Erica was finally going to tell Maria that the baby that she “adopted” was really Maria’s daughter. Maria thought the baby had died. I didn’t have a DVR and I was not going to miss that reveal after waiting for 6 months. I loved Maria and Edmond. My OLTL couple was Todd and Blair!

I LOVED All My Children. And then i got into One Life To Live. But yeah, these designers pick some boring ass fabric. I’m with Christian. I need to see some color or pattern.

That might actually work. You kill someone, go to prison. I hear prison food is horrible so 138 might be doable. LOL!

I’m thinking one reason they took 37 this year is because the allstars are dancing in the new game show on CMT that they highlighted during one of the commercial breaks. So now that the allstars are not as readily available, they have an alternate already there.

I think when Holly said “But it was fun, though” that she was pretty much over the micro-managing of the DCC. She knew her spot on the team was hanging by a thread, that Kelli would never trust her again, she would probably lose her spot in the triangle, can’t remember if she was told she wouldn’t be going to Canton or not. She probably figured why bother at this point when she could be living her life in full versus this micro-managed life. So I think she weighed her options and a life of freedom won.

Julia was so unaware of how she came across. She had no idea that she said anything less than perfect. To me, she’s an ambassador risk.

Exactly. Though at least Kat’s answer sounded like Kat and not some Stepford Cheerleader. It was nice to actually see personality.

DCC Briana said it best when she first made the team: I can be smart, strong and sexy. I don’t have to choose. (Or something along those lines.) I’d add ambitious. And then add something about how DCC helps mold young women into poised young ladies and then blah, blah, blah iconic, blah blah blah world class blah blah blah Smithsonian. (Thanks to the poster upthread for the blah blahs).

I think K&J like Kat’s personality and that is a big part of why she is still there. After the life of the party KaShara left, I think they like Kat’s enthusiasm and big personality. IIRC, after last week’s office visit, they laughed and said something to the effect of she keeps them laughing (honestly can’t remember). When she left the office this time and they heard the girls on the outside cheering, they were again reminded of KaShara. As for the media training, I think they believe they can polish up her answers and she’ll be fine. She is comfortable in front of the camera and just needs polishing. I saw one of the posted videos with Maddie and Kelly on an interview. I like Maddie, but after that performance, I’d pick someone else for interviews. She seemed so quiet and almost scared. Like Kelsey, her beauty certainly doesn’t hurt, but the personality is another bonus. If she keeps taking their notes and improving, they may feel that she can be great on the field one day.

Competitive non eating! Love it! Too funny! I did not see the first 15 minutes of the show and judging by the comments, that’s a good thing.

We should give her a test on current events.

I get the impression that Kelli may not have liked Madeline’s mother. IIRC, she stated earlier in the season that she didn’t really remember her mother or something like that? Please correct me if I’m wrong. But I don’t believe for a minute that you don’t remember her. Anyway, I get the feeling that Madeline’s mother either was not impressed with Kelli, or if Madeline takes after her mom, Kelli may have been intimidated, jealous or something of Mom’s looks. Madeline is gorgeous, mature and so poised. Or maybe the mom was a mean girl. Either way, something appears to be off about that. Seems like Kelli is punishing Madeline for her mom’s “whatever”. Madeline seems to know the dances pretty well. She can develop power quicker and easier than either Meredith or Kat learning the dances. She should be given a little longer at least. I was rooting for Meredith and Kat earlier, but they both need at least one more year. I think Kelli and Judy just like Kat’s personality because she makes them smile or laugh. Meredith, please stop crying!!!!!! That scene in the spa was torture. TPTB are really trying to push the narrative the VK is the most supportive girl in the whole world. Loved the first guest choreographer. He was so supportive of the girls. And Gina for point! I was afraid they all might burst into tears from being so happy to hear positive feedback. I like having the guest choreographers and love hearing their feedback. I like them giving stickers. Christina, you need to step it up. For a vet to be in the bottom at auditions, and then get called out as a not top 36 by guest choreographer is bad. I get you’re exhausted, but Kelli does not care, trust me. You may need to start thinking about turning in the boots.

Why even bother showing us the makeovers when everyone gets THE SAME DAMN HAIRSTYLE! Every single one they showed all had the long layered cut, just different lengths and colors. Why does Marshall and Co. need to come to a rehearsal to evaluate?

I am so glad that they are showing much more dancing this year and the dancing sequences are not as choppy. They are actually showing the dancing in longer sequences. Yeah!

I like Madeline.

Loved the focus on Shaina! Loving her now and am totally rooting for her.

She was with Melissa mentoring Meredith. They danced side by side together while Melissa taped it to show Meredith the differences.

I came here to say the same thing! She’s as brutal as Kitty but not as mean, I guess. I love hearing her commentary. You can tell that Judy loves having her input. And Charm was right, how can you be the last group and not have the dance down better? She let them know that in the real dance world, you had better bring it, and bring it that night! I like that she told the other group that she was disappointed that they had two weeks to learn that dance and they should have it by now. Wow, that was refreshing.

Yeah, I’m surprised we don’t get “Another One Bites the Dust” after a girl is told that tonight is her final night instead of the so sad music we get now.
